The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1221 – Betrayal Of The Past (Chapter 1)

Chapter 1221 – Betrayal Of The Past (1)

Shen Yanxiao’s image had changed from a low-level elf with unknown origin to a member of the hero tribe.

Such an elf should not associate themselves with the traitors of the Moonshine Tribe.

Shui Ling’s expression was saying “I have good intentions for you.”

An Ran’s expression changed instantly, and his hands on his side clenched into fists as he bit his lip and said

nothing.

Shen Yanxiao slightly knitted her brows into a frown.

“Who I am with, what does it matter to do with you?” Shen Yanxiao said impolitely.

Shui Ling was slightly surprised. He did not expect Shen Yanxiao to answer this way. His expression was a bit

unnatural as he responded, “Yan Xiao, you are still young and don’t know some things. Don’t think that all the elves

are good, in fact, the Moonshine Tribe’s elves colluded with human beings and committed a terrible sin in

Moonshine City; they were then demoted by the Elf King, and banished from the black-level city. All the elves

know this. They betrayed the Elf King and mingled with human beings. Being together with such traitors will only

dishonor the reputation of your Moonlight Tribe.”

Shui Ling only thought that Shen Yanxiao didn’t know the matter about the Moonshine Tribe; that, combined with

her young age, made her ignorantly stay by An Ran’s side. Therefore, he reminded her out of “good intentions”.

Shui Ling’s words were like a sharp blade, unrelentingly piercing An Ran’s heart. An Ran’s clenched fists faintly

trembled.

“Colluded with human beings? Committed a terrible sin in Moonshine City? What do you mean?” Shen Yanxiao

always knew that the Moonshine Tribe was punished, but was not clear why.

Before, the Moonshine Tribe was a high-ranking tribe, but only in the black-level city. How could they have been in

the Moonshine City?

Shui Ling chuckled with an “I knew it” expression.

“Yan Xiao, you really don’t know? This is a big scandal among us elves. The leader of the Moonshine Tribe and a

human being engaged in a secret relationship and gave birth to a child. The child was born as an elf, and the

Moonshine Tribe elves concealed this matter. Not only did they conceal the fact that the child was mixed-race, but

they even shamelessly sent her to the Elf King to become a Lady Saint who guarded the Tree of Life. Just as the Elf

King wanted to marry one of the Lady Saints, he discovered that this Lady Saint was a mixed-race with human

blood. The Moonshine Tribe deceived the Elf King, which is an unforgivable sin. The Elf King was tolerant and

forgave them, only expelling the mixed-race from the Moon God Continent.”

Shui Ling’s story made the blood on An Ran’s face fade. It was obvious that everything he said was a fact.

In the elves’ society, the most talented female elves from the highest-ranking tribes would be selected to enter the

Moonshine City to guard the Tree of Life, and the Elf King’s partner would also be selected from among these Lady

Saints.

It could be said that in the society of the elves, aside from the Elf King, the status of the Lady Saints who were

guarding the Tree of Life was the highest.

However, such a high-ranking Lady Saint was actually a mixed-race. This matter was truly unbelievable to the

elves.

Shui Ling sneered, then continued as he looked at An Ran,

“This was supposed to be the end of the matter, but no one expected that a few years later, the mixed-race elf would

suddenly return to the Moon God Continent, and together with a human being even. No one knew how they snuck

into the Moonshine City, but they caused a great turmoil in the Moonshine City, almost hurting the Tree of Life, and

all of this was done with the assistance of the Moonshine Tribe. Do you think that this kind of elf who is colluding

with humans can be someone good? They are simply traitors to the elves!”
