The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 398

In Mount Ku Luo, two sides were running all over the place as the two Phoenixes chased them. The mighty beasts didn’t give anyone any leeway to fight back at all. Just as the two teams were desperate, the two Phoenixes suddenly stopped all their attacks. Flying over the sky in the southeast direction, the Phoenixes suddenly felt something and immediately reversed their direction. They gave up pursuing the human race and darted towards the nest at an alarming rate.

The main leader had almost been torn apart by the Phoenix that he hadn’t even woken up yet from desperation till this moment. He was only standing silly in place while looking at the figure of the Phoenix as it gradually flew away.

“Why did it go?” The main leader at this time was already sweating profusely, and his body had been greeted by the flames of the Phoenix, leaving charred traces. If he wasn’t strong, he would have probably been swallowed up in the Phoenix’s anger. But the Phoenix could clearly kill him immediately, so how did it suddenly give up this opportunity and turn away?

The main leader was baffled, but his heart was very grateful to the Phoenix’s abnormal behavior. Otherwise he would have already turned into a pile of ashes.

In the Phoenix’s nest, Shen Yanxiao and Vermillion Bird were still fixing their thoughts, standing motionless in place. Both of their pairs of eyes were stupidly staring at something.

“Chirp~ Chirp~” A little furry ball as big as a palm was rolling its furry body in the fine nest. A pair of huge black eyes was ignorantly looking at Vermillion Bird who was standing in front. The red fluff almost completely turned into a round ball, revealing only a sharp, small mouth tweeting softly.

The little furry ball blinks its eyes and looked at the completely petrified two people. Straining to turn its small head, which was completely indistinguishable from its body, it pecked at the little finger that poked at it with its small mouth.

Vermillion Bird was shocked from head to toe. He was extremely shocked at the little guy whom he didn’t know when had broken out of its shell.

A pair of red eyes and a pair of watery black eyes locked on for a moment. The furry ball then suddenly exalted and fluttered up its wings with the size of a thumb. Its two tiny feet struggled to stride towards Vermillion Bird.

Puchi…

The newborn little one had no ability to fly and run. The two little wings that were severely out of proportion with its size were simply not enough to support its weight. One furry ball directly threw itself into Vermillion Bird’s arms.

An astonishing scene appeared.

While Shen Yanxiao and Vermillion Bird was shocked by the fact that the small Phoenix was born, the little furry ball pounced onto Vermillion Bird’s arms.

All of a sudden, the Phoenix’s little wings were abnormally flapping very hard to hold Vermillion Bird’s arms, and its furry little body had also been trying to rub on it, ah. Its mouth even issued a soft and adorable sound.

“Let… let go!” Vermillion Bird stared stupidly at the small Phoenix who was like a koala clinging on his arms. Since he was born, he had never had such close contact with any other magical beasts, but this little guy almost got tired of his whole body!

“Chirp~?” The little Phoenix blinked its eyes as it didn’t seem to understand what Vermilion Bird said. It just stared at Vermillion Bird’s twisted face, and then he happily rubbed his face on his arms again and again. Even that pair of watery big eyes also narrowed up comfortably.

SNEAK PEEK FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER

Shen Yanxiao astonishingly watched the Phoenix as it clinged on Vermillion Bird’s body, and her mood was very complex.

“Xiu, what is going on?” For the small Phoenix’s unusual intimacy towards Vermillion Bird, Shen Yanxiao could only ask Xiu.

Xiu slowly replied, ‘When the Phoenix is born, it will treat the first being that it see as its own parents. So whenever the little Phoenix is about to break out of the shell, a pair of Phoenix will always be at the Phoenix’s egg’s side to guard it, waiting for their child’s birth. In the present situation, the small Phoenix first saw the Vermillion bird after it was born, so it should be treating the Vermillion Bird as its parent.’

“Vermillion Bird as it parent!?”

Shen Yanxiao: Pfft! It thinks that you’re its mommy. Lol XD

Vermillion Bird: D-don’t be ridiculous!

Xiu: Deal with it. (⌐□_□)
