The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 367

Just as the Vermillion Bird uttered the word Holy Beast, Shen Yanxiao’s emotion had a slight change. Knowing about Shen Yanxiao’s purpose for this trip, Xiu naturally knew what she was worried about.

“However, if the Phoenix is indeed a Holy Beast, then I’m afraid that even those mercenaries are not enough to divert its attention. One minute would be enough for it to kill them all.” Shen Yanxiao was somewhat worried. There was no way she could rely on the Vermillion Bird’s strength alone to contend against the Holy Beast Phoenix, but she believed she could still run away even if they couldn’t resist the Phoenix.

But could she just watch the members of the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps die?

Xiu saw Shen Yanxiao’s worried face and lightly said, “If that really is so, I will help you protect their lives.”

Xiu also wanted to keep the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps alive?

Shen Yanxiao was slightly surprised. If they really met the Holy Beast Phoenix, even the Vermillion Bird had no way to deal with it, yet Xiu unexpectedly said that he could save the lives of Du Lang and company?

That was a Holy Beast Phoenix!

All along, although Shen Yanxiao knew that Xiu was strong, he had never really taken any action. Beside using his power to unlock the seal, he had never even used a bit of his power. In the end, Shen Yanxiao didn’t know exactly how strong Xiu was. The only thing she could confirm was that Xiu right now was strong —stronger than anyone she had seen before. And this Xiu right now had only restored a little bit of his strength, not all of his power.

Yet, just with his current strength, he actually dared to fight with the Holy Beast!

Who was Xiu in the end?

“But in my opinion, things are not as bad as you think. Although the fire elements in Mount Ku Luo are very strong, they’re only slightly stronger than the Vermillion Bird’s. Also, the fire elements emitted by a real Holy Beast is slightly different, so you don’t need to worry too much at all.I believe that with your skill, even if you can’t fight, you can still successfully escape.” Xiu had already been following this little girl up to this point. He had seen this kid come and go freely in the four great clans’ treasury, and just last time, she broke into the Holy Roland School’s Pharmaceutical Storehouse. With such elusive ability, even if she encountered a formidable enemy, she could still escape.

Hearing Xiu’s remarks, Shen Yanxiao felt more relieved. She wasn’t that worried about herself. After all, there were only few people in the whole world who could corner her, not to mention magical beasts. What she was really worried about was the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps. This group of big mercenaries, although foolish, were all good people.

She now had nothing to worry about after Xiu made a promise to her.

“That’s right, be it a Mythological Beast or a Holy Beast, as long as I, this small grandpa, fix my sight upon something, no one can hinder me from getting it,” Shen Yanxiao smiled confidently. After the two people had exchanged few words, Shen Yanxiao immediately retrieved her consciousness from within her mind.

More than thousands of people were walking towards Mount Ku Luo. As they moved closer and closer, stronger fire elements came rushing, making a lot of incompetent mercenaries sweat profusely.

In the face of such a powerful fire elements, the average mercenary might not detect anything unusual, but those mercenaries with high level professions had already detected traces of abnormalities at this moment.

Was this powerful fire element  just really being emitted by a rank eight Phoenix?

Du Lang bided his time and asked the members of the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps to stick together. He didn’t care about the cooperation among the mercenary corps’ heads that had been imposed upon them before.

SNEAK PEEK FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER

If the Phoenix in Mount Ku Luo was beyond rank eight, then even the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps would have difficulties protecting themselves, what more if they were to help those who weren’t high quality mercenaries?

Half an hour later, these who numbered more than thousand people finally entered the rumored Mount Ku Luo.

Having just stepped into the jungle, the mercenaries felt a disgusting atmosphere drifting from the forest.

“It’s a demon,” Du Lang frowned and squinted his eyes over the thick woods.

Du Lang: Be ready brothers!

Vicious Wolf: I just hope it isn’t that demon.

Du Lang: That’s right. It would be really tough if it’s that demon.

Wild Wolf: Sigh. If only I have that demon serving me instead.

Shen Yanxiao: Who are you talking about?

Du Lang: You know that demon..

Vicious Wolf: What’s is the catchphrase of that demon again??

Wild Wolf: Uhh. Right, it’s “I’m just one hell of a”–

Shen Yanxiao: I think you got the wrong story!!
