Chapter 523: Fried Onion Rings

This little sheep, Mo Yang, was clearly a vicious beast inside! It was fine if he did not make a move, but once he did, there would definitely be blood!

These few people who had ill intentions towards Mo Yang were the real evidence!

Indeed, since Mo Yang was able to make a name for himself in District 12, he naturally had his own strength!

It was also because of this that the people in the army paid more and more attention to Mo Yang.

Zong Sheng was naturally no exception.

After all, with such a controversial and strong contrast, everyone could not help but be a little interested.

Hence, Zong Sheng knew that this was Mo Yang’s first mission…

His first promotion as a Colonel…

His first time becoming teammates with him..

Unknowingly, his attention was almost completely drawn to Mo Yang! However, he had yet to realize this clearly…

It was only during this mission, in the midst of a bloody storm and with Mo Yang’s life on the line, that he finally understood his intentions!

That’s right! He liked Mo Yang!

Zong Sheng had always been a person with strong actions. Thus, once he realized his intentions towards Mo Yang, he immediately took action.

However, just as he expressed his feelings, Mo Yang mercilessly rejected him!

“It’s my business to like you.” After he recovered, Zong Sheng raised his eyebrows slightly and returned to his previous arrogant nature. “This has nothing to do with you.”

“Besides, you might accept me one day, right?”

Hearing such a free and easy declaration, what else could Mo Yang say?

“Actually, you don’t have to carry a burden.” Seeing Mo Yang’s expression, Zong Sheng chuckled. “Who knows when I won’t like you! Who can say for sure?”

Although Zong Sheng’s words were somewhat comforting, Mo Yang heaved a sigh of relief.

A person likes you, but you can’t respond at all… Sometimes, that is also an invisible pressure and burden.

“Okay.” Since the two of them had already talked it out, Zong Sheng did not bother him anymore. He stood up from the chair and waved at him. “Then I’ll go out first. You have a good rest.”

Without giving Mo Yang time to speak, Zong Sheng’s speed was twice as fast as before. In the blink of an eye, he pushed the door open and left.

…

Just as he closed the door and took a few steps, Zong Sheng could not help but let out a bitter smile as he leaned against the wall at the corner.

He lowered his head slightly. His hair had just covered his eyes, so no one could see the sadness in his eyes…

It was the first time that he liked someone so much, but in the end, he was defeated just like that…

…

Three days later.

After Little Chu’s various delicacies, Mo Yang’s recovery speed was greatly accelerated.

He could already leave the hospital without a hitch.

Before he left, Shen Yi was still a little reluctant… Of course, more importantly, he was reluctant to part with the Zong Family’s secret medicine. It could be seen from the way he stole glances at Zong Sheng from time to time…

The return journey of the ship was very smooth.

After a few hours, they returned to District 3.

Previously, Roundy followed Exalted Chen Bai back to the Mo family. It was said that she was reluctant to part with her pitiful companions…

As soon as they opened the door, they heard the little fella’s arrogant voice.

“Awoo –” You guys are finally back. I’m so bored at home! Hmph!

After not seeing this chubby little fella for a few days, Mo Chu really missed it. She could not help but hug it in his arms. She reached out and rubbed its snow-white belly. It was furry and felt really good!

She swept her gaze across the room. Hmm, fortunately, Roundy did not do anything to the house… However, why did she feel that something was wrong?

Before Mo Chu could react, the little thing in his arms suddenly jumped up and quickly attracted her attention.

“What’s wrong?”

Roundy pinched its little baby voice and called out a few times. It had long used the whole set of ‘acting cute’ to its heart’s content. Its technique was very skillful.

Its big, watery red eyes opened slightly, its nose was slightly wrinkled, and its little mouth was curled up. Its cuteness was on the verge of bursting out. It was simply impossible to say no to Roundy…

“Awoo–” Little Chu, I’m hungry. Hurry up and make me something delicious!

… It was Roundy usual lines. They would not change for thousands of years

Mo Chu, who had long been used to being a cook, looked at the little foodie in her arms, sighed lightly and nodded helplessly.

Great!

She had just returned, and now she had to wash her hands and make soup again!

Looking at the ingredients in the terminal, Mo Chu immediately had her eyes on the onions.

This ingredient was very beneficial to the body. Not only could it resist cancer and prevent tumors, it could also strengthen the immune system. However, due to its slightly strange taste, not many people could accept it.

Previously, she had made fried onions for Mo Yang and Roundy once. In the end, after the man and the Beast ate a few mouthfuls, their expressions actually appeared to be in sync. Both of them looked like they were suffering!

At this point, onions rarely appeared in Mo Chu’s kitchen.

Because of this, when Mo Chu took the onions out of the terminal, Roundy immediately cried out. Obviously, it had a deep memory of this not-so-delicious ingredient…

“It will be very delicious.” Mo Chu gave it a guarantee.

Unfortunately, Roundy only replied with a ‘fefuse to believe’ look.

Hey! This time, Mo Chu’s unwillingness to admit defeat was aroused. Her mind immediately searched for all kinds of delicacies related to onions… After thinking for a long time, she finally made up his mind.

Fine! I’ll do it!

She did it right away. Mo Chu first washed the onion clean, then removed the skin, and cut it horizontally into circles.

Then she peeled it carefully.

Then, she cracked an egg in a bowl, added some salt and pepper, and stirred it.

Then she mixed the fried powder with water.

Finally, she added salt and pepper to the prepared bread bran, and mixed it well.

At this point, the preparation was almost done.

Next, Mo Chu wrapped the onion rings with fried powder, rolled them in the egg liquid, and finally rolled them in the bread bran.

She put them in hot oil and fried them until they were golden brown on both sides.

Finally, she scooped out the filtered oil.

During this period of time, she did not even need to add any other condiments. Just the taste of the onion rings was already very beautiful!

At first, Roundy’s face was filled with doubt. But later on, when it smelled the fragrance, it could not hold it in any longer. It no longer remembered her previous disdain.

When Mo Chu brought it out, Roundy did not even care about the scalding temperature and directly stuffed one or two into its mouth!

It smacked its lips and tasted the taste. It was crisp and crisp, and there was a hint of sweetness in the fragrance… Roundy’s eyes instantly widened. Ow ow! It was so delicious!

This was completely different from the choking taste from before! If it had not seen Mochu make it, it would never have believed that the two dishes were made from the same ingredients!
