The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 223

Chapter 223: Crushing Defeat (3)

But now…

Looking at how leisurely Shen Yanxiao acts, Wan Li was beginning to…

Lose his confidence.

What sin did he do for God to send such an abnormal person to break his self-confidence?

Wan Li had clearly forgotten that it wasn’t God that sent this abnormal person but his provocation alone.

If he just remembered it then Wan Li would have already given himself a two big slap, he had really done it this time, he had actually provoke someone he shouldn’t, he had actually provoke this aberrant being!

Now, because of his defeat in the previous round, he started to feel worried with the match that he originally had the most confidence with.

At the beginning of the second game, under the gazes of many, Shen Yanxiao picked up her own basket of arrows and walked towards her position under the metal balls.

Wan Li clenched his teeth and also took his own arrow basket to go into his position.

When all of the 100 arrows in Shen Yanxiao’s basket were exhausted, there were still more than half of the arrows in Wan Li’s basket, but what made him more spit out blood…

Looking at the metal balls that were shot all over the floor, forget about the more than 10 shots he had made, the remaining of those metal balls were shot by this aberrant fellow!!

The students at the side ware wearing such dumbfounded faces while they watched the match.

Out of the one hundred arrows, at least ninety five had hit the metal balls. But these metal balls were in a high-speed flight, they’re not a stationary target. Not to mention the 10-arrow pursuit just a while ago, such a high hit rate, wasn’t this telling them to just drop dead!?

Without suspense, the second match was Shen Yanxiao’s one-sided victory in one fell swoop.

The two matches had frustrated Wan Li as if he had lost from betting in a cock fight. His pride and arrogance had long been burnt into ashes. His shoulders fell and under the complex eyes of the crowd, he walked over to Xie Yun and then said with a low voice:

“Mentor Xie Yun, the third round… there’s no need to… I… throw in the towel.”

What else could be done? What he was sure about was that the previous matches didn’t left any confidence in him. If he continued to fight, he’s afraid that he would immediately become the laughingstock of the entire Archer Branch!

Xie Yun’s mood was very good and he directly answered Wan Li’s request.

Shen Yanxiao’s performance was far beyond his expectations. Xie Yun was now anxious to end this challenge earlier so as to ask the little guy some questions.

After receiving Xie Yun’s response, Wan Li headed out from the shooting field without looking back.

From tomorrow onwards, he would take off the purple robes which symbolizes the glory of the purple class and put on the red class clothing that he despised so much.

However, Shen Yanxiao, this biggest winner, was actually unhappy of Wan Li’s action of escaping midway from the challenge.

These two rounds were just a warm-up, why did he run away? She was waiting for the third match to come to show the real thing.

Unfortunately, Shen Yanxiao didn’t even had the time to sigh and expressed her feelings when Xie Yun directly dragged her out of the shooting field.

[TL Sky: For the love of all things, don’t ruin the kid’s hope!]

The mentor had a belly full of questions to ask this aberrant little genius, ah.

As for those students, this most outrageous challenge in the history had have their soul separated from their bodies. After this challenge, they really wanted to cry but they had no tears to do so…

Before the start of the challenge, except from the four animals who had put their bets on Shen Yanxiao, almost all the students had bet on Wan Li’s victory. And with such result, they were doomed to lose their money.

But the identity of the four people didn’t give them any opportunity to cheat, unless they could eat bear heart and leopard gall[1] to dare and renege on their debt to the young masters of the five great clans.

Therefore, they could only grit their teeth and swallow their blood as they watched the four wretched backs left their own branch.
