Chapter 237: Like a God (4)

If she really fought with these people, who knew who would win!

These patients looked at each other and felt indignant. However, looking at the flames in her hands, they could only glare at her and disperse. Only then did Hu Qing let out a sigh of relief and ran home in a panic!

Take a bath. Yes, she had to take a bath quickly! These people were infectious. Perhaps she had just… when she thought of this, Hu Qing’s face turned as white as paper. Even her feet were trembling when she ran!

…

At this moment, Mo Chu was being stared at like a national treasure by Zhong Wen and the others!

“Mo Chu, how did you know that the Repulsion Vine would be effective?” Staring at the little girl in front of her, Zhong Wen’s eyes were shining!

Shen Yi also stared curiously at the side and asked in puzzlement, “Yes, I also want to know, and why would you stop me from using Emergency Serum?”

“I don’t know the reason, it’s just because I used Emergency Serum to save a patient before.” Speaking up to this point, Zhong Wen’s face could not help but become a little gloomy. “At that time, the situation did not get better, but it became worse after a moment! That’s why I would…”

“Hmm, I see.” Hearing that, Shen Yi’s brows did not relax. Instead, they furrowed even more. What kind of illness was this? He could not even use Emergency Serum?

“I’ve made some discoveries while I’ve been in the Quarantine Center these past few days.” Mo Chu stood up straight. Her eyes were shining, and her pink lips were slightly open. Her serious look could not be taken away! “I think that this is a disease caused by a miniature magical beast entering a human body!”

What?!

A miniature magical beast?

Upon hearing this, Zhong Wen and Shen Yi’s expressions quickly turned serious. “What do you mean?”

“Based on my previous observations,” Mo Chu said slowly, “I’ve found that the more energy a person has, the faster his or her illness will worsen. This is also the reason why I stopped you from using Emergency Serum!”

“The more energy a sick person has, the faster their illness will worsen?” Shen Yi took a deep breath and carefully recalled the few experimental cases that they had done. It seemed to be true! It was just that they had not noticed this detail at that time and had never thought about it in this aspect!

After all, this was too unbelievable. Under normal circumstances, a sick person would need to replenish the energy in their body in time to be able to fight against a pathogen. However, this illness was doing the opposite!

“Yes.” Mo Chu nodded. “At that time, I was thinking that this situation was completely illogical. However, if there were demonic plants or demonic beasts in the patient’s body, they would absorb the energy in the human body, causing the condition of the human body to drop drastically!”

“And their infectiousness is because they can reproduce through human parasitism. Through human-to-human contact, they can turn normal people into infected patients. Under such circumstances, it is possible for both demonic plants and demonic beasts. However, compared to them, demonic beasts have a stronger reproductive ability. That is why I am leaning towards the latter.”

In this way, the whole problem could be explained! Hearing this, Shen Yi and Zhong Wen felt enlightened, as if the thick layer of fog in front of their eyes had dissipated greatly!

“So, once the patient is given Emergency Serum…” following Mo Chu’s reasoning, Zhong Wen’s eyes could not help but light up. “It will only make this kind of demonic beast absorb more energy, making it stronger. The faster it reproduces, the more serious the patient’s condition will be!”

“That’s right!” Mo Chu nodded in agreement.

“But the most troublesome thing right now is that we don’t know what this kind of magical beast is.” Mo Chu frowned and said, “Naturally, there’s no way to research something that can completely destroy it. We can only rely on my method of treating the symptoms. However, we can’t treat the root of the problem. We can only temporarily suppress the serious illness!”
