Hearing this, Shen Zhiyi’s face darkened.

She thought of a patient she was in charge of two years ago. That disgusting playboy actually boasted shamelessly that he was going to faint from needles and had to hug her before he was willing to give her an injection.

The director could tell what she was thinking from her expression. “You’re thinking too much. This patient just doesn’t want to show his face.”

Shen Zhiyi nodded. As long as it didn’t involve her, it didn’t matter what kind of eccentricities she had.

“I’ll bring you over now. You should take a look at the situation first.”

“Okay.”

The two of them arrived at the special ward of the Orthopedics Department. After the director knocked on the door, a low and hoarse male voice came from inside. “Come in.”

When she pushed the door open, Shen Zhiyi immediately saw the thick gauze curtain hanging in the middle. The figure behind the gauze curtain was faintly discernible.

“Zhiyi, I’ll leave this place to you.”

After the director left, Shen Zhiyi walked over and planned to lift the curtain.

“Don’t move.”

The sound of wheels rolling could be heard. Shen Zhiyi watched as her two long legs passed through the curtain. Her upper body and face were still tightly covered.

If it was in the past, she might have teased her a little. But now, she just squatted down.

“Take off your pants.”

“It’s not convenient for me. You can do it.”

”…”

Shen Zhiyi silently recited the doctor’s code. Her two hands went through the curtains, caressed the belt on her pants, unbuttoned it, and took it off in one go.

Shen Zhiyi glanced at his bare legs and said matter-of-factly, “It’s quite fair.”

“Thank you for the compliment.”

Shen Zhiyi didn’t say any more nonsense. “The muscles in your legs haven’t atrophied. It must have happened not long ago.”

“Four months ago.”

Shen Zhiyi pressed her fingers on the acupoints on his ankle. “Do you feel anything?”

“No.”

Shen Zhiyi kept going up. Just as she was about to land on the base of his thigh, the man opened his mouth to stop her. “You can stop here.”

“I’m a doctor, and you’re a patient. This is a normal examination. I’m not shy at all as a woman. Why are you being pretentious?”

”… Okay, then you continue.”

Shen Zhiyi continued to move forward, occasionally asking him if he felt anything.

Suddenly, she felt something touch her hand.

Shen Zhiyi was shocked. “What is it?”

“What do you think?”

Shen Zhiyi hurriedly withdrew her hand, feeling a little embarrassed. “Your condition is a little better than I thought. At least you’re not completely unconscious from the waist down. Even if you can’t be cured, it won’t affect your ability to carry on the family line.”

Through the hazy curtain, the man could vaguely see her slightly red ears, and his gaze was slightly absent-minded.

It had been a long time since they last met, and he actually felt a little nostalgic.

“I don’t have a girlfriend, so I can’t carry on the family line.”

“This is your business.”

“Aren’t you a Doctor?”

“The Doctor has to be responsible for helping you find a girlfriend? If you can’t find one, do you think I’ll have to give myself to you?”

“No, I prefer a woman.”

What the hell was that supposed to mean?

Shen Zhiyi whipped out a scalpel. “If you dare to tease me again, I’ll cut it off for you. You Won’t have to worry about procreation anymore.”

A hint of a smile flashed across the man’s eyes.

It had been a long time since he had seen this threat.

“I surrender.”

Shen Zhiyi let out a sigh and called for his bodyguard to guard the door. She carried him to the hospital bed and took a CT scan of his legs and brain. As she looked at him, she asked, “What kind of injury did you suffer?”

“A car accident.”

“It doesn’t look like it. It looks more like it was caused by a heavy object.”

“I don’t have to lie to you.”

Shen Zhiyi could tell that he was deliberately hiding it. However, she was a doctor and not a big sister, so she quickly moved past this matter and quickly came up with a treatment plan.
