In Du Xia’s heart, he completely hated Lin Wanwan.

He had clearly won, yet Lin Wanwan insisted on interfering! She was being too biased!

As the two of them prepared for their new performance, Andy’s face was full of ill intentions. “If du Xia wins their second battle, you should know what the consequences will be, right?”

“You don’t have to worry about it.”

The audience believed in her, so they supported her.

If she betrayed everyone’s trust, the good reputation that she had accumulated in the previous episodes would definitely be destroyed.

However, Lin Wanwan had confidence in ye Guang.

Finally, the second round of battle began.

The first to go on stage was du Xia.

After watching his performance, Lin Wanwan was a little shocked.

In terms of technique, du Xia’s performance was similar to the previous round. There were flaws in it, but this original song of his was of a high standard. Even she could not find any flaws in it.

This was written by Du Xia?

But why did she feel that the flow of this song was very similar to Ye Guang?

“Awesome!”

Previously, Andy had chosen du Xia purely because he wanted to make things difficult for Lin Wanwan. However, at this moment, his eyes were shining with excitement, “Du Xia, the level of your song is definitely comparable to that of a first-rate songwriter. It’s too perfect! There’s no reason for you not to advance!”

The other two judges also said a lot of good things.

The audience below the stage was affected by the atmosphere and started to cheer. At the same time, they were looking forward to Ye Guang’s performance even more.

Andy looked at Lin Wanwan proudly. “It’s already very clear who won and who lost.”

“Ye Guang hasn’t performed yet. You’re saying this too early.”

“He really won’t give up until he reaches the Yellow River!”

The host went on stage. “Now, let’s invite Ye Guang to give us a wonderful performance.”

Ye Guang walked to the center of the stage and stood there motionless like a wooden figure.

A puzzled voice came from below the stage.

Du Xia took a look at Ye Guang. A hint of hesitation flashed past his eyes. However, when he looked at Lin Wanwan in front of him, his expression turned vicious.

This was the price Lin Wanwan had to pay for looking down on him!

Lin Wanwan keenly sensed that something was wrong. Without changing her expression, she asked, “Ye Guang, are you not prepared?”

Ye Guang glanced at du Xia. Seeing that he had his head lowered and looked guilty and uneasy, he could not help but laugh bitterly and say in a hoarse voice, “Teacher, I’m sorry. I was indeed not prepared. Therefore, for this match, I… Forfeit.”

The venue was in an uproar.

Andy questioned sharply, “Ye Guang, if you were really not prepared, you would not have agreed to this battle previously. The reason why you admit defeat now is because you saw du Xia’s high-level performance and knew that you were bound to lose, right?”

Ye Guang didn’t say a word.

Andy looked at Lin Wanwan with contempt. “Ye Guang, this is your tacit agreement. Is this the contestant that you’re willing to go against us and insist on protecting? It’s just so-so. I’ve said long ago that you alone can’t represent the opinions of all the judges.”

A variety of whispers rang out below the stage. There were some who questioned, and some who argued.

Lin Wanwan made a hand gesture, and the scene instantly quieted down.

“Ye Guang, do you think that by wearing the crown of the Holy Father and forgiving a so-called friend who stole your work, he will be grateful to you?”

Ye Guang’s body trembled.

Du Xia’s expression had a moment of panic.

“Ye Guang, you can throw my sincerity and anticipation towards you into the wind. You can also ignore the fairness of this competition. However, I hope that you don’t forget the purpose of your participation in the competition.”

Lin Wanwan’s expression was indifferent. Every word she said hit ye Guang’s heart.

“If you still choose to remain silent, it’s up to you.”
