Chapter 81: Making Bean Curd

Qin Yue and the others’ mecha demonstration could be considered a huge success. At the very least, it was completely popular in the Military Academy. As long as you opened the Military Academy’s official website, 80% of the posts would be discussing it.

However, Qin Yue, Han Xuan, and the others could not be happy. That’s right, this demonstration had indeed caused a lot of heated discussions, but the key point was that the object of everyone’s heated discussion was not about them. On the contrary, it was just a formality. Qin Shang, on the other hand, who only appeared for a short moment, became a ray of light in everyone’s eyes!

The discussion in the Tieba Forum was not about their superb mecha techniques, nor was it about their skilled mecha operation. Instead, it was about the whole story of Qin Shang’s rejection of Yao Manwen.

There were even posts that vividly reenacted the scene at that time. There were also posts that took a different path and started guessing and analyzing Qin Shang’s identity. After all, in this day and age, there were not many men who had the courage to reject a woman like Yao Manwen, who had both good looks and excellent genes. However, the public was relieved. At the very least, it meant that the male compatriots had one less competitor, right?

Mo Chu did not have the time to pay attention to the trending posts on the internet. Looking at Roundy in front of her, who was still pouting its mouth, she could not help but sigh softly. She did not bring it to the Mecha Exhibition, and it held a grudge until now!

“Ao! Ao–” Hmph! You didn’t even bring me along when you went out to play! You left me alone at home!

Roundy’s chubby face darkened, but its watery eyes revealed a hint of grievance.

“Alright,” Mo Chu sincerely apologized. “This time, I was wrong. Next time, I’ll definitely bring you along wherever I go, alright?”

Hearing this, Roundy twisted its chubby body and turned its back to Mo Chu. It even covered its ears with its two palms as if it was saying ‘I’m very angry now. Don’t talk to me!’

Looking at its proud little appearance, Mo Chu held back the smile on her face. She stroked its head and asked gently, “Why don’t I make you your favorite crayfish?”

Ever since they ate the spicy crayfish last time, Roundy’s love for it had been like a torrential river. It had repeatedly urged Mo Chu to make it again. However, it was quite troublesome to prepare a crayfish dish. In the end, this little fellow had no choice but to give up.

Hearing Mo Chu’s words, Roundy’s little eyes lit up. Just as it was about to nod its head, it suddenly hesitated. No matter what, it was still a tyrant in the Magical Region. How could it be subdued by such a simple delicacy?

Hence, Roundy turned its head to the side. Hmph, I will resolutely resist the temptation!

Heh! Mo Yang, who was standing at the back, raised his eyebrows and laughed softly. He did not expect Roundy to be so determined this time. Even the crayfish could not move it. It was really angry.

Although Mo Yang’s laughter was small, Roundy was keenly aware of it. It turned its head with a swoosh and glared at Mo Yang with its bright red eyes. It let out a low growl from its throat. Are you laughing at me? What was there to laugh about!?

“Hmph–” Mo Yang could not stand Roundy’s stare anymore. He coughed lightly and took a few steps back.

“Alright, be good. Don’t be angry.” Seeing that the little fellow was about to explode, Mo Chu quickly went forward and hugged it, whispering in its ear, “How about this, I’ll make a new delicacy for you. I’ll not let big brother eat it, and only you can eat it. How about it?”

Obviously, Roundy was very pleased with this idea. Its big eyes rolled a few times, and after thinking for a while, it finally nodded and agreed to it.

Deal!

In the end, Roundy did not forget to throw a smug look at Mo Yang. Hmph! I’ll make watch and not eat. You’ll die from craving!

This time, Mo Chu wanted to make the bean paste fish.

The fresh and tender bean paste matched with the delicate fish meat and combined with the fresh and spicy taste. That taste would definitely be a great one!

There were chili and fish, but the bean paste still needed to be made.

Mo Chu first took out some soybeans from the terminal and soaked them in water. Compared to the soybeans of the 21st century, the soybeans of the Federation were relatively loose. After just half an hour, they had already become soft from soaking.

“Roundy, come and help me!” After draining the water from the soya beans, Mo Chu put down the bowl and waved at the Blood Luminescent Beast with smiling eyes. There was no soya milk machine here, so she had to think of another way. She had already seen Roundy’s extraordinary strength, so she could make use of it now.

Roundy hopped over and allowed Mo Chu to wash its thick palms clean before wrapping them in layers of gauze.

“Ao ao–” What are you trying to do?

Looking at his two palms that were wrapped like dumplings, the little guy’s widened eyes were filled with doubt.

“Come, Roundy, break these beans into pieces. The more pieces, the better. Whether or not you can successfully make the bean paste will depend on you!”

Mo Chu patted Roundy’s shoulder as if it was entrusted with an important task.

Hearing this, Roundy could not help but nod its head heavily. Its cute little fist smashed the soybeans into the bowl with all its might!

Pow!

The soybeans did not break much, but the iron bowl was broken into pieces!

“What the…”

Looking at Roundy’s smug look, Mo Chu could not help but be a little dumbfounded. This was not the effect that she wanted, alright?
