The CEO's Villainess Childhood Friend Chapter 207 – Retiring From the Entertainment Circle (Chapter 1)

Ch.207 Retiring From the Entertainment Circle (1)

In the next few days, both Qiao Moyu and Ye Peicheng had been pretty idle because they both finished filming the majority of their scenes.

During the day, Qiao Moyu would study the script at home. At night, Ye Peicheng and her would ‘study the script’ on the bedroom bed.

This went on until the day of the audition for the《Pomegranate Tree》.

The audition was in the afternoon and, in the morning, Qiao Moyu received a request to attend the opening ceremony, so she went to the crew members.

The crew members were all new, only the director graduated from a class. Qiao Moyu chose them because she really liked their script, the name of their script was called——

《Daomen Xianhan》

The story is about a family of three that cultivated together and ascended into the sky. Qiao Moyu looked through the script and felt like the story portrayed the story between Ye Picheng, Luo Luo, and her, so she readily accepted it.

Although she had already expected the production team to be newbies, the corners of her lips couldn’t help but twitched at how impoverished their belongings appeared.

Although everyone knew that she was Daoist Priest Qing Yin, she felt that the opening ceremony was a divine matter, so she had to wear a Daoist robe.

She dressed as she did in the past, carrying a long cloth bag on her back which contained all the props she needed.

When everyone saw her, they suddenly appeared as if they had just seen a living immortal. Everyone surrounded her with enthusiasm and said, “Daoist Priest Qing Yin, thank you for coming…”

There was an open altar, but this time, because the weather was cold and the production team was poor, there was no heating. Qiao Moyu had to perform the sword-dance longer than usual until it finally became nice and warm.

After the opening ceremony was completed, everyone wanted to invite her out to have a meal, but she rejected them.

She didn’t receive any remuneration and only asked that if they did well in the box office, to give her a small percentage of their profit. If they didn’t do well in the box office, then she won’t ask for a penny in return.

At noon, Qiao Moyu went directly to a nearby shopping mall to change clothes and remove her makeup. In the afternoon, after she ate some fast food, she headed to the audition.

These days, although she and Ye Peicheng had been studying the script in bed and they studied it until she was completely eaten by him, she nevertheless had learned some things.

Today, they had to act the role of a country girl who was being persecuted for her traditional ideology for the audition. Although the girl was heavily influenced by the traditional ideology, she reformed later in the story and accepted the new ideas. She learned about the new technologies and gradually became successful.

In the past, Qiao Ruohuan had succeed in her career thanks to this film. Qiao Moyu stood in front of the camera and settled into her character in a few seconds.

Because there were many actresses auditioning for this film, there are many heavyweight actresses auditioning today.

When Qiao Moyu came out from her audition, she saw Zhang Cencen.

Zhang Cencen smiled at her and said, “Moyu, I have a TV drama that will begin screening in a few days. You’ll have to help me with the opening ceremony!”

Qiao Moyu recalled that the other party had forwarded her Weibo, and she couldn’t help but laughed, “Are you serious?”

“Of course I’m serious!” Zhang Cencen pulled her hand, “Moyu, you have to come!” After that, she hugged Qiao Moyu and quickly walked into the audition room.

When Qiao Moyu came out from the audition hall, she didn’t expect there to be a crowd of reporters waiting for her. When the reporters saw her come out, they surrounded her and asked, “Moyu, we heard that you have helped《Daomon Xianhan》with their opening ceremony?”

“Moyu, the people and films you helped before all became very popular. Does this mean that you’re confident in《Daomon Xianhan》?”

“Moyu, can we record the process when you perform the opening ceremony?”

“Moyu, can you please tell us where you get your skills from?”

Qiao Moyu faced the camera and muttered, “To be honest, I don’t know anything about performing opening ceremonies. It’s just that I’m lucky, so they all turned out to be popular.”
