The CEO's Villainess Childhood Friend Chapter 173 – I Want the Lead Position! (Chapter 1)

Ch.173 I Want the Lead Position! (1)

She really had a child!

Xing Yichen suddenly felt like it was harder to breathe as he stepped forward towards Qiao Moyu and said, “Moyu, who is the father of this child?”

Isn’t he accusing her by asking her this question? Ye Peicheng was still here, and with the way he had worded his speech, Ye Peicheng might think that she had sex with Xing Yichen before!

Qiao Moyu was burning with rage, “Didn’t I explained everything to you the other day? Why are you asking me this again? What do you mean by asking this question? I have no relationship with you!”

However, before Xing Yichen could reply, Ye Peicheng spoke first. His gaze calmly fell onto Xing Yichen as he indifferently said, “The child is mine.”

After he finished talking, he turned around and started to walk towards Qiao Moyu’s house with Luo Luo on his arms. He knocked on the door then handed Luo Luo over to Nanny Yu.

Seeing as Xing Yichen’s gaze had been following Luo Luo, Qiao Moyu knew that she had to resolve this matter clearly. She said to Xing Yichen, “Wait for me.”

Then, she rushed to the room and came out with a file in her hand.

“CEO Xing, do you still remember that time when I auditioned for the drama《The First Light of Dawn》? That day, I met you in the bathroom and I pretended that I was falling. I was actually just finding a way to get a strand your hair.” Qiao Moyu lifted her eyes to make eye contact with Xin Yichen, “Indeed, I did doubt about whether or not the kid is yours. During that accident three years ago, I didn’t see the face of Luo Luo’s biological father, but because that hotel that the accident happened in was one of the hotels that you would frequently visit, I thought it might be you. So, I pulled a few strands of your hand and did a DNA report.”

She handed the file pocket to him after she finished explaining, “Look at the results yourself!”

Xing Yichen recalled that time, but he thought that Qiao Moyu had fallen on purpose to make him catch her. He also thought that the pain in his scalp was caused by her carelessness, but——

He took the file packet and looked directly at the conclusion section of the file.

“The two DNA samples do not match genetic patterns. Both of you do not have any biological relationship.”

Xing Yichen looked over the report 3 times. At this moment, he felt as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over his head. His whole body suddenly became cold.

The date of the report was also accurate, so Qiao Moyu didn’t lie.

The child was not his. Not only because of this report, but also because he realized that the child didn’t resemble him at all after taking a closer look.

The only hope in his heart was destroyed; his head was dizzy for a moment.

At the same time, Ye Peicheng laughed faintly and said, “CEO Xing, shouldn’t you take care of your own family matters first before you start bothering someone else’s child?

He was referring to the scandal that was printed on the front page of the news. Xing Yichen felt as if he had been slapped strongly by someone on the face!

The chilling look in his eyes was almost enough to kill someone.

But Ye Peicheng didn’t even care in the least. Instead, he pretended to be sympathetic as he said, “CEO Xing, you should accept fate.”

After he finished speaking, he wrapped an arm around Qiao Moyu’s shoulder and started walking towards the room.

Watching the door shut in front of him, Xin Yichen realized that he had no longer had any dignity in front of Qiao Moyu. He was just inviting more humiliation if he went up to talk to her again!

At this time, his phone rang. It was from his assistant: “CEO Xing, have you decided? Do you want to take Miss Qiao Ruohuan off from the trending search?”

“There’s no need.” Xin Yichen’s eyes were full of coldness, “Let her be at the center of shame!”
