The Murong Clan Lady’s wing was simple, but it gave off a rather elegant air. Once she sat down, she had a servant girl bring Happy a stool. Then, she brought over some snacks as well.

When he saw such treatment, Happy swiftly came to an understanding. He might not just be getting a reward after coming back. The Murong Clan Lady might be giving him some other tasks.

He composed himself, flung his robe back, and sat down. Without waiting for the Murong Clan Lady’s orders, he took the initiative to bring out Nation Protecting Divine Sword and the heirloom seal.

When the luxurious and noble sword was placed on the table between them, the Murong Clan Lady did not show too much delight. Only when the noble dragon seal was placed in front of her did a hint of red finally appear on her face, and her breathing changed slightly!

“The heirloom seal…”

She extended her pale fingers and touched the cold jade of the heirloom seal.

The Murong Clan Lady needed quite some time to calm down. She turned to Happy and sighed deeply before she said, “In truth, this is the first time I’ve seen the real heirloom seal.”

Happy said nothing. Yan Dynasty had been destroyed for many years, after all. The Murong Clan Lady was not old either, so it was only natural that she had never seen it.

When she recalled the glory of the past and thought of the situation in which the Murong Clan was right then, she immediately became quieter, and her face became even redder.

“The Murong Clan is determined to reclaim the country, but our path is so incredibly difficult. The heirloom seal has been buried for dozens of years, and how many people still remember the former Yan Dynasty?”

She pressed down against the dragon seal lightly while mumbling under her breath. Her voice was filled with resignation and a sense of not knowing where she was headed.

“Happy.”

“I am here.” Happy’s expression became stern when he looked at the Murong Clan Lady’s beautiful face.

“You have contributed greatly in protecting the royal mausoleum and driving away the ninjas from Japan. You have also safely retrieved the heirloom seal and this sword, the greatest treasures of the Murong Clan. How should I reward you?”

“Serving the clan is my duty.”

“Duty is duty, but if you have contributed to the clan, you must be rewarded, and if you made a mistake, you must be punished. This time, you have contributed greatly. If my father had not gone to Beijing, he would personally reward you. How about this, the bottle of Small Reversion Pills will be yours. Keep it around to save your life. Also…”

Happy was a little disappointed.

Small Reversion Pills might be pretty good sacred medicine that could heal injuries, but with his strength, it was rare for him to run into truly dangerous situations. Besides, he had quite a lot of Dew Pills. Unless he was ambushed by several powerful elites at Dream Clouds’ level or targeted by NPCs above Moksha Realm, he would have no use for Small Reversion Pills.

Because of that, the “also” the Murong Clan Lady said instantly attracted Happy’s attention, and his heart calmed down as well.

The Murong Clan Lady picked up Nation Protecting Divine Sword.

Clang!

A dazzling white sword glare instantly lit up the entire wing.

The Murong Clan Lady looked like an immortal who had descended on earth when she held the sword. Her gaze was cold, and she looked incredibly heroic!

“You are currently in Mystical Realm, so it is very important for you to have a good weapon. This Nation Protecting Divine Sword might not have been completed, but it is a good grade one masterpiece. I will give it to you.”

‘Knew it!’

Happy was happy.

But he did not show a single hint of it on his face.

“But isn’t this the greatest treasure of Yan Dynasty? This reward is something I cannot accept—”

“Take it.”

The Murong Clan Lady’s words were simple and concise, and she spoke in a tone that brook no argument.

Happy received Nation Protecting Divine Sword with both hands. When he looked at it once the Murong Clan Lady passed it to him, the sword had the attributes that grade one masterpieces should have.

[Nation Protecting Divine Sword (grade one masterpiece)

[It was created by Murong Jian, the best royal swordsmith of the Yan Dynasty. He used Deep Sea’s Freezing Iron and Foreign Meteor to create it. It is cold and sturdy, and when held, it is heavy. However, it lacks a critical step in its creation, and hence, it cannot be considered a divine weapon. It will require a master-class swordsmith’s blood and soul to create the Spirit of Loyalty within it.

[Increases 500 damage. Increases Body Movement by 10. Increases Affinity by 10. Increases Arm Strength by 10. Increase 200 weapon defense. Increase block rate by 20%.]

“It’s a pity that we don’t have many good swordsmiths in the Murong Clan anymore. I don’t want Nation Protecting Divine Sword to be reforged either, for it would just bring many disasters to the Murong Clan. Hence, you will be its master from now on.

“However, Nation Protecting Divine Sword is no longer a name suitable for this sword. Give it another name,” the Murong Clan Lady said to Happy with some sadness.

“Ding!”

The system gave him a notification.

“You have a chance to rename the weapon! Please give the weapon a name.”

Happy was stunned, and his expression turned strange.

Nation Protecting Divine Sword did indeed not have the chance to enter the ranks of divine weapons, but it could enter the ranks of demon vessels through indirect means. Besides, only the weapons which had become divine weapons or demon weapons could be renamed. This was the difference between them and other masterpieces.

Happy did not expect that he would get the right to rename the sword beforehand.

But he had never given any weapon a name before, because his fate with fortune in his previous life had been terrible. All his weapons had been masterpieces.

So right then, when he had the chance to give a name, he instantly became undecided.

‘Should I use my own name?

‘… No way!

‘Then, should I give it an awesome and mighty name? Urgh… but that doesn’t really fit my personality either!’

Happy frowned and thought about it for half a day, but he did not manage to think of a good name. At that moment, he cast an uneasy look at the Murong Clan Lady. She had already sat down and was drinking tea in a very calm and peaceful manner. It reminded him of a scene from the past, and he instantly came up with an idea.

“Noble Sword.”

Once those two words left his mouth, the Murong Clan Lady froze for a moment. She then turned her face around, and a brilliant sparkle shone in her eyes.

“Let’s call it Noble Sword,” Happy repeated.

“Ding!

“Nation Protecting Divine Sword has been renamed into Noble Sword. Received 1 Comprehension.”

The system’s notification caught Happy by surprise and left him stunned again. He did not expect that he would receive a Comprehension point as a reward for renaming the sword.

The Murong Clan Lady cast Happy a deep glance and rose from his seat.

“I heard from Uncle Rong that your abilities have increased greatly. But don’t slack off on learning one hundred martial arts. Shifting Stars is, after all, built on the essence of multiple martial arts from different schools. You will not be able to bring out the power of the ultimate technique without enough experience.”

“I understand.”

The system gave Happy a notification.

“Ding! Royal Mausoleum Quest completed! Received 2,000 reputation points with the Murong Clan. Received 10 affection points from the Murong Clan Lady.”

Happy’s heart was slightly touched.

The higher a person’s reputation was in their clan, the easier it was for them to trigger high-level and hidden clan quests. Since Happy received two thousand points in one go, he could be considered to have insanely good luck. Usually, it was rare for a quest to give a person more than one hundred points.

As expected, a hidden clan quest’s rewards were truly extraordinary.

Affection points were even more useful. Next time, it would be much easier for Happy to get even more quests from the Murong Clan Lady.

Just when he was wondering whether he should leave, the Murong Clan Lady’s angelic voice reached his ears again.

“But before that, you will have to do something for me.”

“What is it?”

“A few days ago, a mysterious man sent a child to deliver an unsigned invitation to the Murong Clan. It contained a letter of someone declaring that they have targeted Murong Clan’s salt ship, which will head north. I believe that there is something strange about this, so I want you to investigate this matter.”

‘Look. There it is. A quest.’
