Chapter 208: Mo Cheng’s change

Not long after, Xu Wan arrived at the hospital with a bunch of things for Mo Yan.

Because Luo Tao wanted Mo Yan to stay overnight for observation, Xu Wan directly brought dinner for Mo Yan.

“How are you feeling? ” Xu Wan put the things on the cabinet by the window and asked.

“I’m okay. It’s not too serious. It’s just a slight fracture. I’ll be fine after two weeks of rest. ”

“Sigh! You’re really amazing. With just two days off, you managed to get yourself into hospital. ”

Xu Wan took out a serving of nutritious soup from the bag. The moment the lid was opened, the fragrance instantly filled the entire ward. Mo Yan’s stomach began to growl uncontrollably.

“I’ve asked around before I came. If you have a bone fracture, you need to eat more food with high collagen content. Here, this soup’s from your favorite restaurant. ”

Mo Yan drooled and looked at Xu Wan eagerly with puppy eyes. “My dear Wanwan, you’re too good to me. If I wasn’t married, I would have married you. ”

Xu Wan clicked her tongue and mocked, “You change sides too easily! Luo Tao would cry if he heard that! ”

Hearing Xu Wan’s words, Mo Yan thought of Luo Tao’s slightly red eyes when she was injured. Ah! If she betrayed him, he might really cry! Mo Yan could not help but laugh secretly.

…

“What are you thinking about! Why are you smiling so slyly? ” Xu Wan looked at Mo Yan’s greasy smile and got goosebumps on her body.

“I’m not! ” Mo Yan retorted.

“Where are Luo Tao and Mo Cheng? Why don’t I see them? You’re already like this. Why aren’t they guarding you and taking care of you? ”

“They went out just now because they had something to do, but it was just nice. You don’t know how hard they were staring at me with those guilt-filled eyes. They stared at me until I felt like I was going to die. ” Mo Yan’s exaggerated expression mercilessly ridiculed the two men, causing Xu Wan to burst into laughter.

“Oh right, you said your younger brother got into a fight. Is that true? ” Xu Wan’s face was filled with curiosity.

She had some understanding of the situation in Mo Yan’s family. Her impression of Mo Cheng was still of a young man who did not like to talk and always had his head lowered. How could such a boy know how to fight?

“Yeah! When they played basketball, the other side kept playing dirty. In the end, they just started fighting. ”

Although fighting was not good, Mo Yan still had a trace of pride when she mentioned Mo Cheng’s fight. Her younger brother did not only fight for her, but also for the other students who were bullied.

“The school bully provoked me, saying that if Cheng played a basketball match with him, he would not bully students anymore. You know how Cheng was also bullied before. ”

Hearing that, Xu Wan felt a little emotional, but she was more curious about what made Mo Cheng change so much.

“Mo Yan, your brother has changed a lot! What happened? Does he have a girlfriend? ”

“No, it’s just that when Cheng was bullied by the school, Luo Tao seemed to have said something to him. Then, when I came to see him today, I felt that he had changed a lot. And you know what? When I was at school today, I saw many of Cheng’s classmates greeting him. ”

Xu Wan widened her eyes in surprise. It seemed that Mo Cheng had indeed grown.

“Luo Tao is so amazing. He was able to knock sense into Mo Cheng just by talking to him? What did they talk about? Tell me. ”

Mo Yan shrugged. “I’m not sure either. They didn’t tell me. But I realized that ever since I married Luo Tao, everything seemed to start developing in a good direction. ”

Xu Wan choked at her cringe words, giving her a hard knock on the head.

“Enough! Stop showing off your love. Don’t you know I’m still single? ”

Mo Yan made a face at Xu Wan. “If you don’t like it, you can find one. ”

Xu Wan rolled her eyes at her and asked, “Can you still go to work on Mondays like this? I heard that your sales department has accepted a new project. If you rest for two weeks, will it affect the project? ”

Mo Yan waved her hand. “It’s not that serious. I’ll go to work on Monday as per usual. The injury is on my left shoulder, so it won’t affect my work. Also, as long as I don’t move my shoulder too much, there won’t be any major problems. ”

Seeing that Mo Yan was so sure, Xu Wan didn’t say anything more. Then, Xu Wan told Mo Yan about the gossip concerning Chen Ya. She heard that after Chen Ya was fired, she had a fight with Zhou Shuai, and the two of them broke up.
