She Chose to Be Strong After Her Rebirth and Won Everything Back Chapter 245 – Chapter 245 Fried Rice

245 Fried Rice

Aunt Hui realized that Bai Xi really couldn’t be blamed for washing the clothes. If some clothes weren’t carefully and professionally taken care of, they would really lose their thread and color, and even go out of shape.

“Xixi, how many clothes do you have left? Aunt Hui can help you take a look and see which ones are easier to wash.” Aunt Hui asked Bai Xi as she sorted out the clothes in the bathroom.

…

Bai Xi had just woken up at this time. She was wearing a silk spaghetti strap nightgown and brushing her teeth in a daze. These days, the clothes she had brought back were almost all worn out, and she did not dare to wash them randomly, so they were almost all piled up here.

“There’s not much left,” washing clothes was an especially urgent matter.

Aunt Hui frowned, thinking that Bai Xi might not go back for the time being. She wanted to see if she was willing to go out and buy some practical clothes so she wouldn’t feel bad when she washed them.

But after looking through all the detergent in Bai Xi’s house, she found she couldn’t understand a single thing. Finally, she had no choice. “Let’s go to the mall and have a look. We have to change all these things.”

“Sure, you can buy whatever you want, I’ll pay.” Bai Xi didn’t know the price of ordinary clothes, and the money she had was probably enough for her and her son to buy two or three.

When they arrived at the mall, Bai Xi realized how expensive her clothes were. In the past, she could buy all the dresses on the shelf with one dress.

“Will I feel uncomfortable wearing these?” a few years ago, Bai Xi had heard some clothes had poor quality dyes, and many people wore them with over-sensitivity. And she knew almost nothing about dyes.

“No, don’t worry. Zhizhi comes here often too. The quality of the clothes here is pretty good.” Aunt Hui hurriedly compared the clothes to Bai Xi’s body. “See if you like anything. These clothes are easy to wash. Later, Aunt Hui will take you to pick out Chen En’s clothes and get some detergent.”

Bai Yan nodded. She suddenly felt a sense of familiarity, but she could not tell what it was. Following Aunt Hui, she felt a long-lost sense of security. Whatever Aunt Hui picked for her, she would take it. She had completely become a child without her own opinions.

In terms of daily necessities, Bai Xi was even more clueless. Aunt Hui was distressed and anxious. She bought two shopping carts full of daily necessities, afraid that she would miss something, but this honest child refused to say.

After paying in the afternoon, Aunt Hui saw that it was still early and wanted to go to Bai Xi’s house to help clean up.

But at this moment, Qu Zhi called, saying there was a celebration party in the afternoon and that she would be taking the children out for dinner. As for dinner, Aunt Hui and the others could settle it themselves.

Aunt Hui patted Bai Xi’s shoulder and suggested to her with a smile, “Bai Xi, how about Aunt Hui teach you how to cook?”

Bai Xi then remembered she had just learned how to make lotus-wrapped eggs two days ago and felt it would probably not be a problem to make fried rice. But when Aunt Hui taught her how to do it, Bai Xi couldn’t help but be afraid.

Aunt Hui’s oil temperature was much higher than hers, so it wasn’t easy to absorb oil. However, the oil was everywhere, and Bai Xi’s hand holding the spatula couldn’t help trembling.

“Relax, you’ll be fine.” Aunt Hui, who was behind Bai Xi, took her hand and stir-fried it in the pot. “Look, stir the eggs like this.” The smell of eggs began to spread in the kitchen. At this moment, Bai Xi thought of her son.

Thinking she could cook for her son at home in the future, Bai Xi really didn’t know how happy it would be.

“Okay. Next, pour the rice inside.” Aunt Hui gave Bai Xi a large bowl of ready-made rice. Bai Xi looked at the sizzling fried eggs and hesitated for a moment. Then she made up her mind to pour the rice in, closed her eyes, and stirred it with her teeth clenched.

“Look, isn’t this great?” Aunt Hui was still smiling. “Now our Bai Xi can also cook.”

Bai Xi’s heart suddenly relaxed a lot. Under Aunt Hui’s command, she put in soy sauce and salt, feeling she also seemed to have some good points. Her hands were no longer shaking, and her heart was no longer flustered.

Everything seemed to be going very smoothly. Before it was taken out of the pot, Aunt Hui let Bai Xi have a taste of the saltiness. Bai Xi took a bite and only felt happiness exploding in his mouth.

She was thinking that when Chen En came back, she would let him try her fried rice.

By then, he would probably feel that his mother was not that useless.
