Shift! The Side-Character Heroine Chapter 159

Totally Gap Moe

When Zhao Youyue possessed Chu Luoxun completely, she felt entirely different, especially when she takes a sit in front of a piano. Of all the music sheets that were scattered all over on the floor, she picked one music sheet at random. When she saw the notes on the music sheet, instantly, she heard music inside her brain, and she could also predict the next chords because she had the trait of having perfect pitch.

She could also use music to express her feelings and beautiful attachment to this world with ease.

Not only could she express her feelings, she could express anything with music. When the audiences listen to her music, she could choose to give them the lightness of a comedy, or she could choose the dark tones of tragedy.

It would never be boring whenever she is playing music, she would make everyone in the world enjoy music!

This is the power of a girl who had the blessings of the musical God!

Her musical standards were even higher than the “Indoor elite” that Liu Yuxi had mentioned!

Besides music, her psyche was at its best too, because she is an optimistic, strong-willed and confident girl.

She felt that she had an open mind, and every little thing would cheer her up.

Zhao Youyue realized that she was fond of “Chu Luoxun” because she was giving off endless waves of positive energy. Who wouldn’t like a beautiful girl filled with positive energy?

“Chu Luoxun” was already part of Zhao Youyue as well.

The realm “Chu Luoxun” existed in had the same energy level as our reality. Even though Chu Luoxun had the blessing of the musical God, she was still a mortal, without any superpowers.

Her music, however, could attract many people. Whenever they listen to her music, they would as if like they had entered a different world, experiencing music in its perfection.

Zhao Youyue is able to stay as herself whenever she possesses an incredible female character she creates, it was an amazing feat for her.

In a Chinese fantasy novel, people who gain power too quickly would never be able to cope with it, and they would eventually turn evil, falling to its corruption. This would never happen to Zhao Youyue, because she had the mentality of a saint.

If it was not for her saint mentality, she would have already collapsed when she realizes that she does not have the ability of an esper and Saber “Li Yunlong.” In fact, she would pretend that it was a wonderful dream because those abilities were not hers originally. She did not deserve that power, because she never strived for them.

As long as things go according to plan, she knew that she would be sticking around for a long time in the realm of “Beautiful April,” or at least until the main hero and heroine ends up together, she was afraid that the author would screw things up. She intended to protect the pure love of this cute couple; they were the symbol of first love that everyone could relate to.

Of course, even readers who have never experienced first love before could also enjoy this novel. Zhao Youyue was one of them too, and she could fulfill the expectation of the readers…

Zhao Youyue could see a long, arduous journey in her attempt at gaining the character card – “Chu Luoxun.”

Many people might not believe it, but Zhao Youyue enjoyed the process of making her iconic character, down to the little things that she has to go through just to get that ability. Whether she obtains that ability in reality, it was totally up to fate; everything would come to her in due time.

Of course, there will be accidents too. For instance, the character card “Yu Shengfan” was an accident previously.

Reality was indeed dull, novelists and mangakas, on the other hand, would always create a world with their imagination and bring some pleasant surprises to her, sometimes.

At this very moment, Zhao Youyue could feel the symptoms of disease in “Chu Luoxun’s” body. Zhao Youyue never bothered to give a name to the illness that Chu Luoxun had. It was a disease that weakens and paralyzes the body over time, something similar to Hawking’s Lou Gehrig’s disease, also known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Hawking never died, but Chu Luoxun must die.

This disease was precisely the same disease that had caused the death of the main hero’s mother, and it was perfect for the plot.

The death of the main hero’s mother had caused him to stop playing the piano, but the music of Chu Luoxun would save him. With the company of Lin Meiyue, he would finally walk out of his shadowy past. What a happy ending, filled with positive energy.

This certainly was a heart-warming story.

Zhao Youyue knew this plot would be perfect.

She revealed a pure, innocent smile. No words could describe the beauty of “Chu Luoxun,” the perfect goddess at this moment.

Isn’t this how you describe a Mary Sue?

There was absolutely no flaw to pick when it comes to this goddess level character, Chu Luoxun who carried the description of Mary Sue!

“Chu Luoxun” also believed she was the most beautiful person around!

At this moment, “Chu Luoxun” finally made her official appearance in the novel. It was early April, when the cherry blossoms were flourishing. She was holding her violin case in one hand, while the other hand was holding her favorite snack. She was munching on her snack, which does nothing to taint her perfectly slim body, despite her vigorous eating. Although she does not eat much, she loved eating snacks.

As she was walking around, she stumbled upon a cat, and she started to give chase energetically. When the cat ended up hiding beneath a car, she got down to her knees and searched for the cat, having no concern for her image…

Finally, she found it on the park bench under a cherry blossom tree, where she crouched down and handed over her cake to the little cat. As she was stroking the cat’s head, she “mewed” at it and smiled like an angel…

She always hoped to bring more happiness to her surroundings, including a little cat.

If this novel is going to be adapted into a manga, her hair color would be blonde or brunette, because she was cheerful and passionate. But, the novel never mentioned her hair color, it only mentioned that she had waist-length hair, and an elegant temperament.

Although this was Chu Luoxun’s first appearance, her image did not fit her personality at all, so, would it ruin her built up expectation?

Veteran authors would know this would not affect her at all.

This gap moe would make Chu Luoxun even more outstanding and attract the readers even further because she would be highly relatable.

She was a happy-go-lucky girl and easily approachable, and she always treated others sincerely and passionately in her daily in and outs.

She loved the world so much that she wanted to bring more happiness to the world.

She would do it with her music.

One moment, Han Leng was devoid of inspiration. The next moment, he woke up in the middle of the night and rushed to the toilet and washed his face. Staring at his own reflection, he smiled.

The familiar feeling has returned!
