Qu Zhi laughed so hard that tears flowed out of her eyes.

“These are baby teeth. Didn’t you already lose a few?” she didn’t seem to make such a fuss before.

…

“No,” Chuchu sniffled as she retorted, “I must have eaten too much candy yesterday. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have fallen off.”

Her mother had never allowed her to eat candy. It was all Chen En’s fault! He gave Chuchu so much Belgium Chocolate and even encouraged her to compete with him to see who could eat more. Chuchu was filled with regret. If she had known earlier, she wouldn’t have believed this scoundrel!

Aunt Hui told Chuchu, “Throw the lower teeth upwards and the upper teeth downwards. That way, the teeth won’t become crooked.” This was the custom of her hometown.

Chuchu stopped crying. Compared to the pain of losing a tooth, she didn’t want a crooked tooth. There was a child in the class who had crooked teeth and looked very ugly. She didn’t want to.

“Grandma, come downstairs with me!” she wanted to throw it into the small pond in the neighborhood so that no one would know the secret of the pond except her.

Before dinner, Qu Zhi looked through her notes again. After reading it, she felt refreshed, and her thoughts were clear. She heaved a sigh of relief.

She had some ideas in her heart. When the first draft of the advertising company came out, she could also see the good and bad points, so she would not be attacked by the other party.

On the other hand, the advertising company was fast enough. In just two or three days, they had submitted three drafts.

Qu Zhi went to take a look. The salesperson beside her kept boasting. Qu Zhi didn’t understand the professional terms and didn’t listen to her, but the manuscript was good.

Two of the drafts were based on lines. A twenty-second draft wasn’t long, but just like a little poem, it was easy to read, and the melody was also exquisite. There was another draft with a plot.

This draft was a little interesting. The opening scene was an old lady giving her scarf to her little granddaughter, and her little granddaughter ran around the garden like a little butterfly with the scarf draped over her. Later, when the little girl grew up, she yearned to live in the big city outside, so she went to the big city and rarely came home.

The pace in the big city was fast, and the pressure was tremendous. The little girl was focused on work, and her life gradually lost its color. One day, when the girl returned home and saw the silk scarf lying quietly on the chair, she suddenly realized that she had forgotten how to live and be happy. In the end, the girl took the train back to her hometown. The grandmother and granddaughter hugged each other tightly, their faces full of happiness.

The highlight of the advertisement was that the first half of the ad was in black and white. It was only at the end that the colors slowly appeared, giving people a bright feeling.

Qu Zhi remembered a similar movie called “Schindler’s List”. After watching it, she was shocked and could not calm down for a long time. However, this movie had yet to be aired.

Qu Zhi felt her heart light up.

“Yes, I’ve decided on this.” Qu Zhi’s tone was firm.

She still had to polish the scene’s language in the post-production, but she was confident that this advertisement would definitely have potential.

“The brand of the scarf is called Jiale.” This was what Qu Zhi had just thought of. The brand name would be placed at the end, and the broadcaster’s sweet voice would be used to broadcast it to deepen the impression.

After finalizing the script, the filming was about to begin.

These few days, Jiang City had gradually begun to feel like autumn. Although cicadas were still chirping hoarsely during the day, when the night wind blew, one would still feel cold.

The advertisement was almost done, so Qu Zhi dragged Dong Feng and Lin He to watch it. This time, they would be the final confirmation of the film.

Who knew that after playing it once, Lin He would start crying.

“Sigh, I can’t. I’m getting old and can’t stand this kind of thing.” She wiped her tears with a handkerchief.

Lin He had said that her grandmother doted on her. Qu Zhi was originally looking for ways to improve the scene’s language, but by the time she came back to her senses, Lin He was already crying like a pear blossom bathed in rain.

Qu Zhi actually felt a little excited. She patted Lin He’s shoulder and rubbed it, “We’ll decide on this. We won’t change it.”

Dong Feng also felt his heart tremble after watching the advertisement, especially the voiceover at the end, which seemed to have pierced into the depths of his soul.

The name “Jiale” made him feel warm.

Their advertisement was scheduled to be released the next day, so Qu Zhi had the best sleep that night.
