Rise of the Great Emperor Chapter 251: Training with Prince Lin San

Chapter 251: Training with Prince Lin San

Thus naturally, Princess Lan Yi Hua didn’t think too much about what Lin Xiao said. They would think about it when they had the chance to even head outside their kingdom when they were strong enough.

Right now, they were not qualified.

Far from qualified.

Prince Lin Xian shook his head at the two of them. He stretched his body. “I will not divulge to anyone about my current position, so there will still be others who try to poach me. You don’t have to worry about me.”

Prince Lin San looked at his older brother and furrowed his brows. He was not good at fighting and mostly only trying hard to recognize his enemies’ weakness with his eyes. “Brother, you have to be careful. When they’re in their desperate moment, they might still attack you.”

“Don’t worry, your brother is not weak!”

“You’re only Golden Core Stage 1.”

Hearing the tone Prince Lin San used to describe the rank, Prince Lin Xian resisted the urge to throw a punch to his own younger brother. He then passed a look at Lin Xiao. “Train hard, you two.”

“Yes!”

After bidding his farewell to the others, who were also busy training, Prince Lin Xian finally left.

On the other hand, the others were looking towards Lin Xiao as if asking him what he wanted to do right now. Lin Xiao’s lips twitched and he turned to look at his twin’s brother. “You said that you want to teach me how to differentiate fake weakness and the real one.”

So far, he had been training how to use the three next stages of his skill while Prince Lin San helped him to identify the weakness and how to exploit those weaknesses from the beasts they met so far.

There were still many times when Lin Xiao missed because the beast moved faster than his expectation.

On the other hand, Prince Lin San managed to hit them perfectly on the spot. Even if his attack seemed slow and weak, all of them hit the precise spot and defeated the enemy with such preciseness that it was scary.

“I’m using Eyes of Truth, so naturally you won’t be able to contend with me.” Prince Lin San rolled his eyes. He waved his hand as a sword appeared. “Even now, I can see that your stance is full of holes.”

“Oh?” Lin Xiao narrowed his eyes as he focused his attention on his twin brother.

“Hmph.”

Swish!

With a swift movement, Prince Lin San had appeared near Lin Xiao. His hand thrusted forward and Lin Xiao also swiftly reacted to evade. His eyebrows raised in alarm when he realized that the spot Prince Lin San aimed at was tricky.

It was right at the right spot when he could barely cover with his sword.

Lin Xiao gritted his teeth and forced his body to move and his sword swiftly blocked the attack.

Clang!

‘Ow, ow!’

Circulating Nourishing Lake Technique internally, Lin Xiao quickly eased the pain when he pulled his muscle just now. His body was not completely flexible even though there were some movements he could pull off. He looked at his twin brother with grieving expression.

“Your movement is so tricky.”

“That’s the use of Eyes of Truth.” Prince Lin San had stepped back. He looked at his twin brother and nodded in appreciation. “You’re not bad either, Lin Xiao.”

“But even if one didn’t have Eyes of Truth, they still can differentiate the weakness, right?” Lin Xiao asked. He had been trying to find other weakness but so far, he hadn’t been very successful.

Like right now. He couldn’t see any weakness from Prince Lin San’s stance even though his brother looked like he was merely standing in his place and only pointed his sword in his direction.

Yet, Lin Xiao had the feelings that if he dared to attack Prince Lin San, his movement would be countered perfectly.

“Yes, you can. There are various methods to learn the weakness of your opponent. First, you can do research on your opponent first so that you can find out how they usually fight. It’s impossible for someone to completely hide their martial arts because you need to fight to grow up.

Well, it’s possible to erase eyewitness completely by decomposing their corpse but I don’t think everyone in the cultivation world is that diligent to clean up after all of their battles. You’ll be surprised just by how much information can be passed to each other about their fight.”

Prince Lin San’s lips curled up to form a mocking smile. “Second, you can also watch their fight if it’s a formal fight. This is one of the reasons why there are a lot of students who often watch other people’s fight in the academy. They’re not only learning but they’re also trying to identify their opponent’s weakness.

Third, you have to identify the movement they used. Not all skills were available for public but you can guess their characteristic when you see them use it. Of course, it’ll be better if you have prior knowledge before so that you wouldn’t not be caught off guard.

Unlike animals who are mostly attacking with their Qi and some basic skills that are easy to guess, humans can create more complex attacks. Not to mention, many of them will surely be skills that are exclusive for their sects or their own clan.

They would not want to divulge those out.”

Lin Xiao was silent as he listened to Prince Lin San’s explanation. He had never tried to learn that much about other people’s fight because there was not much chance in the past. But it seemed that he would need to learn more in the future.

“Are there any skills that are exclusive for the Imperial Family?”

Prince Lin San smiled faintly. “As a matter of fact, yes. However, even imperial family members couldn’t access the library every single time they want to. Only those who are qualified can enter the library.”
