ok..so the angst is really picking up. My heart bleeds for both YL and JYN..

I am travelling for a few days so the posts may be a little erratic..

Chapter 48

Yan Liang thought briefly.

Yeah, what did she want to do?

What could she do ?

The cold wind blowing through the cemetery chilled her to the bone and woke her up from her trance, “ First of all, I need to determine if the shares that dad gave you are still in your name and have not been swallowed by Jiang Shi Jun.”

Xu Ziqing was silent.

Her sudden silence had Yan Liang’s heart palpitating , her voice sounded panicked, “ You have not…”

Yan Liang let out a sigh, and continuing down the stairs she said, “Jiang Shi Jun, Song Ji Peng, Jiang Yu Nan.. I don’t believe that all this ia just a coincidence. If the shell company behind the hostile takeover is MT, Jiang Shi Jun must really be the boss behind the scenes..”

“Don’t assume that,” Xu Ziqing immediately interrupted her, “ Jiang Shi Jun and MT’ s general manager are meeting for tea in Jiang Shi Jun’s private club.”

“ Did you meet them?”

“ Do you think if I had walked into them I would be here talking to you on the phone ?” Xu Ziqing laughed in a self deprecating manner, “ I installed a listening device in Jiang Shi jun’s car.”

This news was like a lifeline suddenly thrown to Yan Liang .She had reached the car. She yanked the door open, sat down and with urgency in her tone, she asked her, “ What else did you hear?”

“ He has too many cars, and this was just installed today. He is meeting the general manager for tea today. Nothing else.”

She tamped down on her slight disappointment. Holding the steering wheel, she drove out of the parking area,”MT issued a notice stating that they had purchased 5% of Xu’s shares in the market. We have now stabilised the major shareholders. As far as they big shareholders are concerned, they have hit a wall right now. They will certainly try to target the minority shareholders. If they get the power of attorney from the hands of the minority shareholders, the situation will become worse, so..”

To some extent, Yan Liang felt that Xu Ziqing actually understood things well, such as, at this moment , her tone rising, she said, “ Jiang Shi Jun has no suspicions about me now, I should be able to get a list of the minority shareholders and try to contact them.”

Why did she mention Jiang Shi Jun , these three words , without the slightest anger?

She chuckled as Xu Ziqing stopped talking

She said it with a smile. But her eyes reflected in the condensed fog of the windows were chilled. She finished her sentence and modified her tone to end briskly,” Let me know what happens.”

By the time Yan Liang reached home it was early morning. She was too tired to take off her shoes. She walked to the living room with her high heels on and flung herself down on the sofa.

Surrounded by the silence, she closed her eyes and heard the clock ticking away. She had been running around all day. She had walked into a trap but had survived so far. She was exhausted , but could not sleep; her brain was whirling.

The most direct and effective way to counter the hostile takeover was to increase their share holdings, but this required a lot of money. Even if they sold all of Xu’s movable property and estate, she feared that the enemy had already planned for this and would swallow all of it like a whale.

The only way to completely solve this funding problem would be to get a third party company to give them financial aid.

But where is the time to find such a strong financial consortium ? And all of this needed to be hidden from the CEO of Xu, it needed to be done quietly …

At this point, the sound of footsteps interrupted Yan Liang’s thoughts.

Her arm was over her eyes. As the footsteps reached closer and closer, she could feel her heartbeats thundering. Someone crouched besides the couch …

The person’s hands reached Yan Liang’s feet and quietly took off her shoes.

She heard him sigh.

Yes, how can he not sigh ? He had played so hard.

She smiled in her mind at the same time that he moved away her arm over her eyes .

She hid a shiver when he touched her.

She could feel him pause in action.

She must have been found, so she opened her eyes.

To meet another pair of eyes that looked worried.

Faced with such a perfect expression, for a moment , she was almost tempted to believe in it.

“ How long have you been sleeping here?”

Yu Nan was wearing a bathrobe. He had a towel in his hands, his hair was still wet, it looked as if he had just had a bath. Yan Liang smiled,” It’s so late, you haven’t slept yet?”

“ Just got back and took a bath.” Jiang Yu Nan touched her eyelashes, “ You’ve been in the mansion helping your mother all day, you must be tired, right ?”

“It’s ok”, Yan Liang flexed her sore shoulders and walked towards the bedroom without turning back.” I need a shower.”

Only when she locked the bathroom did she relax. She leaned against the door, and looked at her own reflection on the mirror opposite. This woman already did not look like her…

After the bath, she dried her hair and walked back to the bedroom in bare feet. Jiang Yu Nan had already fallen asleep. She stood by his side of the bed.

Yan Liang’s instincts were quicker than her mind, she bent down to kiss him instinctively.

The vigilance in his eyes changed to surprise. His wife was really acting irrationally, her deep but awkward kiss stunned him momentarily, but this was soon followed by a more violent response from him.

Her bathrobe was ripped apart. As they tangled with each other, the bathrobe was pushed to her waist, till he pulled it off and threw it on the bed.

She straddled his waist, ripped off the buttons on his shirt and bit him. For a moment, Jiang Yu Nan was at a loss with her forceful actions. But then he raised his body slightly . She struggled for half a moment, then gave in, allowing him to bend her a little as he held her by the waist.

His desire throbbed dangerously, this man was on edge and almost out of control.

He raised his body and slammed into her with such fierce strength that Yan Liang was almost overturned on the bed. But at the same moment, she ruthlessly caught his wrists. Using the bathrobe belt, she tied his hands to the bed frame. With one hand, she grabbed his neck. The crazy look in this man’s eyes drove her to the ultimate peak of temptation and despair, she squeezed so hard that he almost choked..

The response to this temptation could only be more intense and crazy. Jiang Yu Nan jerked his wrist out of the binds and wrested control from her. He turned her over and pressed her body under him.

As she lay on the bed, Yan Liang finally lost all her strength. She raised her arm to cover her eyes. She did not want to think anymore; she let him do whatever he wanted with her body. His long , fiery kisses on her skin created a burning trail down her body. She was turned on by desires beyond her control.

He buried his head in her chest and his teeth nipped her there, stinging her a little. The sting penetrated her skin and reached deep down into her heart..triggering off the emotions she had buried deep down in heart.A wave of pain engulfed her, it overwhelmed her .. she didn’t want to live anymore..

The first cry that issued from her throat stunned her even more than it surprised Jiang Yu Nan.

As his warm mouth nipped and sucked, she gazed at the ceiling blankly. After a long time, she reacted , and a sob rang out.

Jiang Yu Nan rose and looked anxiously at her face, his eyes uncertain,” Yan Liang ?”

Yan Liang moved her hand away from her yes, looked at him and smiled apologetically, then turned away from him, “ I am sleepy. Let’s sleep.”

There was silence for a moment.Jiang Yu Nan leaned towards her face ,”Yan Liang ?”

Such a gentle voice….

Such a beautiful illusion..

Yan Liang looked at him , watching this stranger … one second..two seconds..

Then she burst into tears.

As if suppressed for a long time, she finally vented all her sorrow without restraint.

A messy bed…

A heart split open cruelly..

As she cried, she curled into a ball.

Who could see , that, in fact, the heart of the man tightly holding her as she cried, was also bleeding ?
