Rise of the Great Emperor Chapter 189: The Two Princesses (Chapter 2)

Chapter 189: The Two Princesses (2)

While Wenren Yu was confused, Lin Xiao and Lin Yun watched in amusement. It seemed that, despite having a crush, Wenren Yu was actually quite slow in discovering other people’s feeling. How interesting.

“Princess!”

They turned their head when they heard the calling. Lin Xiao’s eyes widened when he heard what they said. The two breathtaking ladies were princess?

Standing not far from them was Prince Lin Hong. He was smiling so brightly. “Princess Lan Xiao Yue from Hua Lan Kingdom, I’m Prince Lin Hong, the twentieth prince of Sun Kingdom.”

The first young lady smiled shyly. “Hello, Prince Lin Hong.”

“I didn’t expect you to be assigned in the south area, Your Highness,” Prince Lin Hong smiled brightly.

“Ah, I…” the first young lady, Princess Lan Xiao Yue, fidgeted.

“She’s not in the south area.”

Everyone turned their head and saw a young man walked in their direction. He had lanky figure and regal aura emanating around his body. At the same time, his sharp expression seemed to be filled with power. Despite only being in the same rank as most of them, no one seemed to be able to put up resistance in front of him.

‘That’s…’ Lin Xiao was stunned. He could clearly feel the immense dragon power emanating from the young man, even more than what he had. If it was not because of Emperor’s Inheritance, he was sure that he wouldn’t be able to contend against that young man.

“He’s Prince Lin Fei, the only son of the current Emperor of Sun Dragon,” Sui Wenyan sent sound transmission, yet her voice sounded grave. She knew very well that the prince in front of them was far beyond their league.

Right now, Prince Lin Fei was only 20 years old, yet the immense power he wielded was already more than enough to suppress them. But those who were close to him knew that he was still at Foundation Establishment as he purposely held back and didn’t make the breakthrough yet.

Right now, he was known as one of the most powerful princes.

“Ninth Imperial Brother,” Lin Hong gritted and unwillingly stepped back. He was the youngest amongst the four princes, so naturally, he was still the weakest.

Prince Lin Fei glanced at Lin Hong with sidelong glance. It was clear that he never put the young prince in his eyes. For him, he was already at the top and naturally, the throne would belong to him when it was time.

“Your Highness Princess Lan Xiao Yue,” Prince Lin Fei greeted. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”

Princess Lan Xiao Yue smiled brightly. There was a hint of happiness and also smugness within her eyes as she curtsied. “It’s my pleasure to be able to meet with you Your Highness Prince Lin Fei. I have heard so much about you.”

Prince Lin Fei nodded. He extended his hand. “In that case, may I have the pleasure to guide you to the north area?”

“Of course.”

Lin Hong watched everything unfolded and gnashed his teeth. However, he had learned how to control his expression, so his face only looked slightly dark. To be losing against his ninth brother whom he hated so much was clearly not something that he wanted to happen.

“What happened?” Lin Xiao asked in whisper. In fact, he was not the only one who were curious as many others were also looking at each other. The way Prince Lin Fei treated Princess Lan Xiao Yue was as if he was treating his own consort. That was a bit strange.

Sui Wenyan looked at Lin Xiao and sighed. “The two of them are the only princesses from Hua Lan Kingdom. Hua Lan Kingdom is located at the east of Sun Kingdom and is quite a big kingdom. Similar with Sun Kingdom, Hua Lan Kingdom used to be led by the Dragon Emperor but its’ been so long since they have descendant that had the huge power of dragon.

At least, until this generation. The two of them are twins. Princess Lan Xiao Yue is the youngest of the two but she had great talent and when she was tested back then, she could open the Dragon Pavilion Hall. However, it’s the tradition that woman couldn’t become the Emperor, so they agreed in an alliance with Sun Kingdom.

Princess Lan Xiao Yue would be married with the ninth prince, who also had the highest chance to become the Emperor.”

Lin Xiao blinked his eyes. He couldn’t believe that there was something complicated behind the screen too. “Then, the other princess?”

“Princess Lan Yi Hua is the first princess, but she never showed any remarkable trait ever since the very beginning. The reason why she comes here is so that she could attract the attention of one of the princes and got married into this kingdom. But from what I heard, they basically threw her away.”

Threw her away?

That sentence baffled Lin Xiao. He looked at the two princesses and noticed that their power was also very different. The two of them were clearly only at 17 years old, but Princess Lan Xiao Yue was already at Foundation Establishment while Princess Lan Yi Hua was only at Body Training Rank 10.

There were some differences in the two princesses’ talent.

“And this one…?” Prince Lin Fei looked in the other princess’ direction with not much interest.

Princess Lan Xiao Yue smiled and introduced, “This is my older sister, Princess Lan Yi Hua.”

“I see.”

The cold tone that Prince Lin Fei used clearly showed that he didn’t regard the young woman as someone important. He had heard that the princess barely had any dragon power inside her body, which made her not so important.

“Let’s go.”

“Ah, my sister?”

“It’s fine, her place is in the south area.”

Princess Lan Xiao Yue blinked her eyes then nodded while still looked unsure.

Lin Xiao watched everything and felt a bit disgusted. The second princess was clearly faking her feelings.
