Rise of the Great Emperor Chapter 44: Never Bow Down!

Chapter 44: Never Bow Down!

*cough* *cough*

Lin Xiao looked at Su Han then to the three disciples. They were watching him without any intention to meddle in. It seemed as if they were enjoying having fun with the show. Besides, as long as Lin Xiao didn’t take Su Han’s life, they could be careless about what he was doing.

“Isn’t this enough?” Lin Xiao asked.

Luo Lan stretched his fingers. “Since you have defeated that Su Han, now it’s my turn to fight with you.”

Lin Xiao furrowed his brows. He had no interest to fight against Luo Lan or any other disciples on the stage. If not because of Su Han singling him out and tried to beat him up in front of the village, he wouldn’t even be here.

“I don’t want to fight.”

“You don’t have a choice.”

At this moment, Luo Lan charged over. He was much faster than Su Han thanks to his skills and capabilities that he had honed over the course of time. His hand punched forward, executing Tiger’s Punch!

Swish!

Lin Xiao barely evaded the attack and gritted his teeth. Luo Lan gave him the feeling like those rank 1 beast that he had been fighting, eh wait, running away from inside the forest for the past two months.

If Su Han was still far weaker compared to those that Lin Xiao could only run away from, Luo Lan was different.

Bang!

The next attack hit the wall and another wall was destroyed with Luo Lan’s attack. He grunted when he saw Lin Xiao had evaded once again.

“Come on! Attack me!”

Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows. “No way, you’re too fast!”

“Nonsense!”

Swish!

Their fight looked like cat and mouse as Lin Xiao kept on evading Luo Lan. He didn’t have any intention of sacrificing his body parts to get hit by Luo Lan. The punch might even shatter his bones just like what happened to those who got hit by his Mountain Punch.

Swish!

“Your brother only knows how to run?” a villager said in bewilderment.

Lin Yun forced a smile to his face. He wanted to refute that, but his brother was currently only running around with no clear direction. Even he had the feeling that Lin Xiao only knew how to run.

‘The steps are wrong.’

While the villagers were mocking Lin Xiao, the latter barely paid any attention. He was trying to move faster and faster by evading Luo Lan’s rampage attack. Even though it was possible for him to attack back, he was currently focusing on his legs’ movement.

He had been running from beast from time to time. Thanks to that, he was very familiar with the best steps to move faster. However, what he was trying to do was to imitate what the third disciple did.

Yet, it didn’t seem to be going too well.

As for trying to attack, Lin Xiao was not foolish enough to believe that he stood a chance against Luo Lan. It would be better for him to try adapting to his ridiculous attacks while trying to find a chance to land an attack.

If possible.

“Tsk, you’re taking so much time.”

The sudden high pitched voice startled Lin Xiao. His body tensed up because he sensed sudden danger. Almost immediately, he stopped his movement and attempted to evade to the side.

However, it was too late.

“Got you.”

Bai Xin had appeared behind him. She grabbed his shoulder then slammed him to the ground with great force. As for Luo Lan, he nearly tripped on the ground after Lin Xiao evaded him.

Bang!

“Why are you stopping me?” Luo Lan protested. He was still trying to teach Lin Xiao a lesson for being so high and cocky even though he didn’t have any remarkable capabilities at all.

Bai Xin snorted. “You’re taking too long. If you wish to bully someone, make sure that you’re more powerful because you’re just going to waste your energy.”

“Uhhh.”

Lin Xiao lied on the stage while staring at the sky. Just now, he could clearly sense that Bai Xin was coming. However, his body’s reaction was not fast enough. Without being able to do anything, he was caught and thrown to the ground.

Against Bai Xin, the current him couldn’t even do anything.

‘So my limit is just body training rank 7? But then again, I can’t seem to defeat Luo Lan no matter what I did.’

They were much faster.

Much stronger.

Ah, Lin Xiao wished to be able to grow stronger again. Ignoring the pain on his back, Lin Xiao slowly stood up. He looked at Bai Xin and Luo Lan.

“Since the fight is over, can I go down?”

Bai Xin furrowed her brows while Luo Lan looked like he was itching for another fight. But before the idiot Luo Lan could speak, Bai Xin had already spoken out, “You can leave, but remember, you’re nothing.”

“Heh, you’re in no position to teach me.”

“You!”

Lin Xiao calmly walked down, ignoring the pain on his back. Some villagers were staring at the place where Lin Xiao was slammed before as there was a deep dent on the ground. Yet, Lin Xiao acted as if there was nothing wrong as he walked down the stage towards his younger brother.

Raising his head slightly, Lin Xiao could see his brother’s worried face. “I’m fine. Let’s go back home.”

“Ok.” Lin Yun was certain that Lin Xiao was not fine. Normally, Lin Xiao could run without even the need to worry. But at this time, Lin Xiao was partially dragging his legs. The pain that Lin Xiao endured must be quite big.

He turned his head to look at the three disciples on the stage. At this time, anger was burning deep within Lin Yun’s heart. He couldn’t forgive those people for harming his brother purposely like this.
