Rebirth of the Godly Prodigal Chapter 1100 – It Was Most Important to Be Happy

Chapter 1100: It Was Most Important to Be Happy

“Hong Dali of the Hong family is really full of ideas.” In the Bei Family’s VIP room, Bei Mingxuan looked below and sneered. “I will see what Hong Dali is up to today!”

The introduction soon ended and the main event started.

Host: “Okay, ladies and gentlemen. Everyone is getting anxious, right? In order to thank everyone for their love, Young Master Hong Dali decreed that in this treasure gambling event, all equipment yellow glow rare and below will be sold for one dollar! The bidding for all the blue glow legendary and below equipment will start at 100 dollars! And, all the equipment that is purple glow godly will start at… 10,000!”

“Wow!” Hearing that, the audience went wild!

One dollar for each yellow glow rare equipment! Blue glow legendary and below equipment would be put up for auction with the starting bid of 100 dollars! The bids for purple glow godly equipment would start at 10,000! This was practically giving away money for free! Hong Dali was really extravagant!

“He’s a prodigal, indeed. He’s being so extravagant. Is he planning to give away billions worth of equipment just like that?”

“Yeah, such a big event, so much equipment, and they are all practically being given away for free! Amazing!”

Bei Mingxuan, who was in a VIP room, also gaped in surprise. “This brat is really savage. How can he do something like this?”

It was no wonder he was so surprised. Although the items were supposed to be auctioned, who would bid for low-level equipment? Therefore, the were yellow glow rare and below equipment was practically being given away for free.

Furthermore, even if people were willing to bid for the below blue glow legendary-level equipment, how much could they sell for? After all, among so much equipment, 99% were yellow glow rare and lower, and the remaining 0.9% were blue glow legendary and lower. The number of items that were purple glow godly was less than 0.1%!

With this ratio, even if the purple glow godly equipment was really top-grade, how much would it sell for?

In another VIP room, the head of the Ye Family, Ye Wuyou, was frowning as well. He could not figure out what Hong Dali was trying to do. “Is Hong Dali doing this just to squander? Or does he have some other agenda?”

…

“Great-grandmother, Brother Dali is so extravagant.” Hua Xiangyu sat next to Old Madam Hua Yueling. She laughed prettily and said, “He spent billions just like that?”

“Dali is rich, he can spend it however he wants.” Hua Yueling patted Hua Xiangyu’s head gently and asked, “Xiangyu, sweetheart, why do you think Hong Dali is doing this?”

“Brother Dali’s luck seems to be very good.” Hua Xiangyu touched her lips with a finger that was slender like spring onion. The younger members of the Hong Family watched, entranced. “He must want to get some good equipment for Great-grandfather. His intentions are good, but his method is too prodigal!”

Hua Xiangyu shared the same opinion as most of the others. Hua Yueling nodded. “Yes, I think so too. Dali may be quite the prodigal, but he is also kind-hearted.”

The other members of the Hong Family were envious, jealous, and filled with hatred. Why was it that Hua Xiangyu was pleased with everything Hong Dali did?

…

At this time, the host announced. “Okay. Young Master Hong Dali has felt everyone’s enthusiasm! So now, dear friends, if you are interested, you may come down and select a piece of red glow excellent-level equipment to unseal! Don’t worry, as each piece of red glow excellent-level equipment is going for only one dollar each! One dollar! At just one dollar each, you’ll be missing out if you don’t buy it! You will not be cheated nor taken advantage of! What is everyone waiting for! Of course, in order to prevent people from deliberately creating trouble, Young Master Dali said that each person can only take one piece, one piece!”

red glow excellent-level equipment went for the special price of one dollar each. Although that sounded cheap, as members of the royal family, it was inappropriate for them to take advantage of such an offer—hence, for this segment, most of the people who came to take part were children who were seven- or eight-years-old. Since the items were practically sold for next to nothing, they might as well unseal them and use them as toys.

Thousands of children in the arena rushed into the event ground. Everyone chose pieces of equipment that caught their eyes and happily unsealed them.

There were people who unsealed good equipment and some who unsealed bad ones. The good ones were worth 800 to 1,000, and the not so good ones were worth just tens to a few hundred dollars. Nevertheless, all the children were happy. When everyone had finished unsealing their items, the children looked toward the VIP table in unison and laughed happily—

“Uncle Dali, thank you!” “Uncle Dali, I love you!” “Thank you for your equipment!” “I’m very happy today!”

A large group of children thanked Hong Dali with their crisp voices. In that instant, everyone in the arena laughed.

Eight hundred or a thousand was like a spare change to a Shenglong Royal. The most important thing was this happy mood.

Happiness was the most precious.

After the children unsealed the equipment, all of them returned happily to their parents.

At this time, there were still a lot of pieces of red glow excellent-level equipment that had not been opened. Of course, there was no need to give them all out in a day—Hong Dali meant to keep them and open some for fun every day…

Next were the orange glow superior-level and the yellow glow rare-level. There was nothing much to say about them. All of them were given away since they were usually nothing good. Most of them were taken by people who were less well-off and were just unsealing them for fun.

Finally, the next event was the highlight of the day.

The green glow epic-level items. The chance that a top-grade item would appear from this category was relatively high. Everyone craned their necks in anticipation to see what would show up.

“Okay, dear ladies and gentlemen.” The host began to introduce the following event. “Next, let us select a group of lucky people from the audience. That’s right, lucky audience members! For just 100 dollars, you can unseal a piece of green glow epic-level equipment! And most importantly, no matter what the equipment is, it belongs to you! One hundred dollars, only one hundred dollars!”

One hundred dollars would get you a green glow epic-level sealed item which originally cost 5,000. This was a tempting offer.

“I’ll give it a try!” Many people started to enter the venue one after another. First, they handed the money to the staff, then they chose their own equipment and prepared to unseal them.

Soon, the people got one, and the host shouted, “Okay, 5,000 lucky audience members have been selected. Next, let’s see what kind of luck these lucky audience members have! Start!”

With this command, the five thousand people unsealed their items in unison. The equipment appraisers then appraised their items. In this segment, many people unsealed superb items that were worth at least tens of thousands. Even the ones whose luck were not so good got something worthwhile.

Then, there were the green glow excellent-level equipment and the blue glow legendary-level equipment. The number of superb equipment from this portion was relatively small. Of course, some of the superb equipment were immediately auctioned off because of their high value. In the end, they all generally fetched a bid of tens of thousands—if they were put on the open market, they could sell for at least double the price. It was a good deal for everyone.

Of course, this was just an appetizer. When the blue glow legendary-level equipment had all been unsealed, it was time for the purple glow godly-level equipment which were the real highlight of the day. This was what everyone really looked forward to.

“Finally, it’s time for the main event to start.” Bei Mingxuan looked at the dozens of purple glow godly-level packages placed on the field and murmured, “They say Hong Dali has good luck. I wonder what superb items he will unseal this time.”

“Great-Grandmother,” Hua Xiangyu hugged Hua Yueling’s arm and said, “it’s finally about to start. What happened before this can only be regarded as a warm-up. What superb items do you think Big Brother Dali will get?”

“It’s hard to say.” Hua Yueling shook her head. “I don’t know for sure, either. Won’t we know whether it is good or bad later?”

“That’s true, hehe.”

At this moment, the entire area was silent. The host announced loudly. “Okay, dear ladies and gentlemen, the warm-up segment is over. Next, it’s time to witness a miracle!”

“Purple glow godly-level! Next, please give a hand to welcome our adorable Mr. Hong Dali. He has come personally to unseal the purple glow godly equipment!”

Loud music played and Hong Dali stood up with a big smile. He stepped on the floating disk in front of him and slowly landed in the center of the venue. This immediately caused the audience to cheer in unison—

“Hong Dali, good job. I’m sure you can do it! It’s best if such events can be held every day!!”

“Young Master Dali, come on, I believe you will have good luck! You are really too extravagant. This feels great!”

“I’ll come to every event you organize from now on. I will definitely support this event!!”

Well, only a fool would refuse a good deal. It was true no matter where you were…

“Hello, everyone.” Hong Dali greeted the audience with a big smile and said, “Thank you for your support. If I’m lucky and unseal some superb items, I will not forget everyone. Hehe.”

The audience shouted, “Come on, Hong Dali, you can do it!” “Come on! Let’s see what kind of good items you can unseal!”

And so, the unsealing began.

It went without saying that Hong Dali’s luck was good. The first piece of equipment he unsealed was a superb artifact. It was a long sword that emitted a light green glow all over. The blade was streamlined and the handle was engraved. A slight chill emanated from it from time to time.

The appraisers finished the appraisal, then stood up and announced loudly. “Taohua Soul Subduing Sword, Cultivation dimension weapon. Strength +120, Agility +150, Reflexes +100. Additional effect one: Sharp, can easily cut through various armors. Additional effect two: increase flexibility and increase Agility by 20%! It’s a first-class artifact, the market price is between 2 million and 3 million. But now, the starting bid is 10,000. The auction starts!”

The very first one was a top-grade godly item. It was a superb artifact with a market price of more than 2 million. Now, it was on auction with a starting price of 10,000. The crowd went wild and the bids came in fast—

“I bid 100,000!” “200,000!” “500,000!” “800,000!”
