Rebirth: Pampered Wife’s Counterattack Chapter 157 – They Can’t Find Her Size (Part Chapter 2)

Chapter 157: They Can’t Find Her Size (Part 2)

“If she doesn’t try it on, how will we know if it won’t fit her?” Long Shuhai intentionally put on a displeased expression.

The employee responded hurriedly. “If she ruins the clothes by forcing herself into it, you will have to compensate us for the damages!”

“How can you speak like that?” Fang Manxue pretended to get indignant on Fang Xinxin’s behalf. “My third sister is only slightly overweight. How could she possibly ruin your clothes?”

Fang Xinxin took the outfit that the employee was holding and shook her head. “It’s definitely too small.”

“Look. This lady also agrees.” The employee began making recommendations to Fang Manxue. “Why don’t you try it on? You’ll definitely fit in it.”

“No, I don’t like this.” Fang Manxue did not enjoy wearing these sort of over-hyped clothes. Even if she did, she would not buy something so expensive in front of Fang Xinxin.

“Bring me something that will fit my third niece then.” Long Shuhai pointed at Fang Xinxin.

“My apologies, Sir.” The employee spread her hands out to explain. “All the clothes in this store are relatively small. The largest size we offer is XXL. Our store targets petite women. Your third niece is really too fat. She will at least have to wear a size XXXXL, won’t she? Our shop does not offer anything in that size.”

“In that case, we can only visit a different shop.” Long Shuhai put on a regretful expression and turned to look at Fang Xinxin apologetically. “Xinxin ah, Second uncle really wanted to buy this set of clothes worth more than two hundred thousand dollars for you. But there’s nothing I can do if you can’t fit in it.”

Fang Xinxin pursed her lips and did not respond.

Fang Manxue and Long Shuhai then took her to visit several other luxury branded fashion stores. Each time they entered, Long Shuhai would generously ask Fang Xinxin to pick and choose whatever she liked!

In the end, it turned out that all the clothes offered at those shops were targeted at petite women who wore size between S to M. The shops either did not have anything in her size or they were out of stock for the larger sizes.

If Fang Xinxin still did not understand their scheme, she would truly be a fool.

Fang Manxue often shopped here and was fully aware of the discounts each shop offered and the types of clothes they sold.

She was intentionally picking the stores that appeared to be extremely costly but did not offer anything that Fang Xinxin could wear.

Long Shuhai was putting on a generous expression but at the end of the day, he was unwilling to spend even a single cent on her.

After making a full round through the place, Fang Xinxin did not buy a single item, while Fang Manxue had already bought more than four sets of clothes worth several hundred thousand dollars. Long Shuhai was holding the shopping bags for her dotingly.

As usual, Long Shuhai was willing to part with his money for Fang Manxue.

Fang Manxue sighed. “Xinxin, it seems like there aren’t any clothes for you here. How about we visit a second rate wholesale market…”

“The clothes sold there are all cheap goods.” Fang Xinxin raised herbrows. “I’m Bai Qinghao’s fiancée. You want me to put on a pile of rubbish on my body?”

Long Shuhai immediately said, “How could we possibly do that? Xinxin, unfortunately you’re really overweight. Since there’s nothing that can fit you, Second uncle will find a famous designer to make a few sets of clothing for you.”

“Really?”

“Will your Second uncle lie to you?”

“There’s no need to go through all that trouble.” Fang Xinxin pointed at a famous French brand. The shop name was written in english and on the bottom, the words ‘stylishly curvy’ was written.

“This shop is clearly targeted at plus-sized women. I will definitely be able to wear the clothes there.”

After saying this, Fang Xinxin did not give the two an opportunity to respond. She immediately headed for the shop.

“Ah…” Fang Manxue stomped her feet and gritted her teeth. “I was trying to avoid this French brand. After taking so many turns, how did Fang Xinxin still end up here? The clothes in there are ridiculously expensive…”
