“Okay, I got it, President. Don’t worry, I’ll submit it to you as soon as possible!” Ye Changqing nodded seriously.

Once he was out of the office, ye Changqing immersed himself in his design work. However, the moment he thought of PEI GE and the man’s nonchalance toward her, he became restless.

“Sigh …” Ye Changqing let out a deep sigh. He tore the draft again, crumpled it into a ball, and threw it into the trash can at the door, but it didn’t go in.

The Secretary had just arrived at the door with a cup of coffee and saw the balls of scrap paper on the floor. She said with concern,””Boss ye, have a cup of coffee first. Design inspiration is hard to come by. It might be faster if you take it slow.”

“Put it on my table. What’s the matter?” Ye Changqing held his forehead with his hands and narrowed his eyes.

!!

“Oh, the president’s Secretary called to ask about the progress of the design draft. She said that if boss ye has any difficulties, we can report it to him in time and do our best to coordinate it.” The Secretary’s words were subtle, but in fact, he was urging her to write.

“Okay, I got it. Call back and tell her that I’ll hand in the draft to the president before work ends.”

Ye Changqing opened his eyes tiredly and massaged his temples. He picked up the pen in his hand and said to his Secretary,”

“Dong Dong Dong!” At Sixo’ clock in the evening, ye Changqing summoned up his courage and went to the president’s office to submit his manuscript.

“Changqing, it’s slower than before, but slow work makes fine work. I hope it’ll be as amazing as before.” The president looked up and said with a smile when he heard the knock.

With an awkward smile, ye Changqing sat down across from him and handed the design draft to the president.””President, take a look at the design drafts.”

The CEO took the design draft and frowned after reading it. “”How about this, Changqing? I’ll send it to the person who’s in charge of contacting the BOSS over there. Don’t get off work yet.”

Ye Changqing looked at the president’s face and knew that it wouldn’t be that easy to get through, so he nodded and walked back to his office.

“Mr. Ye, the president’s Secretary called back and said that the design draft is not satisfactory. She wants you to make some amendments.” Half an hour later, the Secretary immediately replied.

“Okay, I got it. I’ll edit it right away. Can you pour me a cup of coffee?” Ye Changqing became restless.

He continued to fix it until 10 pm, but the BOSS was still not satisfied.

“Changqing, what’s wrong with you? Why was the standard so off today? the BOSS ‘contact person had already said that after the BOSS saw it, he didn’t feel any purity at all, let alone recall good memories. If we can’t get a satisfactory draft by next Monday, we’ll have to give the order to another jewelry design company even if we break the contract!” The first draft was rejected again, and the president was furious.

“It’s my fault, President. Some things have happened recently, and I can’t focus and express my inspiration. I’ve embarrassed the company.” Ye Changqing replied, annoyed.

“Sigh, forget it, forget it. Changqing, you’ve always been the pride of the company. It’s already past 10 p.m. Today. You should go back and have a good rest. We’ll continue tomorrow. I’m going home too. I hope I can come up with a first draft that Big BOSS will be satisfied with tomorrow.” The president waved his hand, picked up his bag and coat, and walked out of the office.

Ye Changqing, who had been scolded by the president, returned to his office uneasily. He dragged his tired body to the bar to get drunk.

“Hello, Sir. This is your Margaret.” The waiter brought the hard liquor to the tired-looking ye Changqing.

Ye Changqing gulped down his glass of water. PEI GE was still at the Shen family’s house, so there was no news from her. He could not see her, and the first draft of the design was not up to date. Thinking of this, he had a stomach full of grievances that he could not voice out.

He didn’t know how many glasses he had to drink, but he felt so dizzy that he wanted to throw up. Ye Changqing picked up his coat shakily and got up to go to the bathroom. Who knew that just as he reached the door of the bathroom, he would hear a woman’s cry for help from inside.”Uh uh … Don’t … Let go of me!”

“Come on, Michelle … Hehe, play with me. I promise I’ll treat you well in the company in the future!” It was mixed with another man’s greasy and disgusting teasing.

When ye Changqing heard that, he had no place to vent his anger, so he sobered up. He rushed over and kicked open the door of the toilet where the sound came from.

The moment the door opened,”ah …” The woman’s exclamation was accompanied by the greasy man’s wide-eyed scolding.”Hey!” They filled ye Changqing’s eardrums.

“Didn’t you hear me? She said no!” Ye Changqing stood up straight, and his aura was so strong that the entire toilet seemed solemn. A man in a suit who was going to the toilet next to him saw this, immediately pulled up his pants, and ran out.

“It’s none of your business! “Can’t you see that I’m …” The greasy man pulled up his pants and came out of the cubicle. He was about to point at ye Changqing’s nose and scold him when ye Changqing suddenly punched him so hard that he had to lean against the door frame.

“Ah …” The woman in the toilet saw this and was so scared that her face turned pale. She screamed and covered her face.

The greasy man reeked of alcohol. He stood up shakily and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.”I think you’re tired of living, you little brat …”

Just as he was about to fight back, ye Changqing was faster than him. Another left hook hit his face, and he was completely lying on the toilet.

The woman who was being bullied saw this and started to sob. She looked at ye Changqing in horror.

Ye Changqing quickly took the coat in his hand and put it on the woman. Only then did he see the woman’s face clearly.”Are you alright?” When she got a closer look, she realized that it was the small star she had met before, Michelle!

“It’s you!” Ye Changqing exclaimed.

“It’s you!” Michelle also covered her mouth and shouted.

Hearing the moans of the man in the next room, Michelle and ye Changqing both calmed down and looked at each other.

“I … I’m fine, but he …” Michelle was scared out of her wits and kept shivering.

“I’ll send you out first. I’m afraid he’ll cause you trouble again when he wakes up. ” As he spoke, ye Changqing took her hand and prepared to walk out of the toilet.

However, just as they reached the entrance of the toilet, a group of people rushed over from the bar lobby. The one in the lead was the man in the suit who had just run out. He pointed at ye Changqing and mi Xue ‘er and said to the group of people behind him,””Our boss’s plan was ruined by this kid. Let’s catch him!”

“What … What should we do?” Still in shock, Michelle looked at ye Changqing and asked.

“Don’t be afraid, I’ll take you to the back alley!” As he spoke, he grabbed Michelle’s hand and ran in the opposite direction to the alley behind them, escaping the bar.

“Oh, we’re finally safe.” Ye Changqing said with a sigh.

They were hiding in a pile of junk in the alley. Seeing the group of people run away, ye Changqing took a deep breath, stood up, and let go of mi Xue ‘er’s hand. He said to her with a smile,”

Michelle stood up as well, tidied her dress, and tidied her hair. She smiled and replied,””Thank you for saving me. Otherwise, I would have been …” She suddenly found it hard to speak, and used her hand to fiddle with a strand of hair beside her ear.

“No need to thank me. It’s nothing. In the future, when a girl comes to a place like a bar alone, she should be careful.” Ye Changqing sobered up and became gentlemanly and gentle again.

“Actually … That man is a general manager of my company. I don’t know what to do when I go back …” She lowered her head and looked troubled.
