Chapter 89: Earning 30 Million per Month

“Let’s go!” Lin Yun leaned against the wheelchair and instructed Jin Yan.

Jin Yan pushed the wheelchair. This time, no one stepped forward to stop him.

Jin Yan pushed Lin Yun to the entrance of the office building before turning to Lin Yun. He looked at her helplessly. “I… can’t afford it…”

Lin Yun looked up at Jin Yan with a gentle smile. “You’re a financial investor. How can a mere 30 million stump you?”

Jin Yan gritted his teeth and said, “But the current me…”

He hesitated, then decided to tell the truth.

“I’m not doing too well. No financial company is willing to hire me.”

“If this continues, I won’t have a chance to work in this industry again.”

“Then I… can’t pay you back at all!”

Lin Yun smiled nonchalantly and covered her forehead with one hand. “The sun is a little strong today. Shall we discuss somewhere else?”

Seeing Lin Yun squint her eyes from the sun, Jin Yan could only nod helplessly and change to another place to discuss.

The two of them didn’t go far before they found a beverage shop nearby. The shop was not big, but the owner looked very friendly.

As soon as they entered, the boss standing at the counter was busy greeting them. “Yo, you’re here! You’re early today!”

Jin Yan also greeted the boss familiarly before pushing Lin Yun to a seat in the corner.

The boss stood at the counter. When he saw Jin Yan with his friend, he asked, “The usual. Lemon tea? What does your new friend want to drink?”

Jin Yan looked at Lin Yun questioningly.

Lin Yun smiled sweetly at the boss. “Same, thank you!”

“Alright! I’ll be right there!” The boss replied and turned around to get busy.

After Jin Yan parked Lin Yun’s wheelchair, he sat down opposite her.

Before Jin Yan could speak, Lin Yun asked, “Do you come here often?”

Jin Yan nodded and looked back at the boss. “That boss is actually my first client.”

Lin Yun looked at the boss in disbelief.

“When I first came to this city, I was unfamiliar with the place and had no place to stay.”

“I walked into this shop by chance. The boss was very friendly and even helped me contact a place to stay temporarily.”

“Then, for nearly half a year, I didn’t have any clients. Even if I kept soliciting, I would be rejected.”

“After the boss found out, he gave me all his savings and asked me to help him invest.”

As Jin Yan spoke, he turned to look in the direction of the boss. The boss happened to look in their direction and grinned at them. His row of white teeth looked especially reassuring.

“At that time, I wasn’t sure if I could succeed.” Jin Yan recalled the sadness of having just stepped into this industry.

“You succeeded! And you never failed!” Lin Yun continued Jin Yan’s words.

Jin Yan was stunned for a moment before shaking his head. “No! I failed! And I failed very badly!”

Lin Yun raised her eyebrows, knowing what Jin Yan was referring to.

Lin Yun said again, “It’s your duty as a manager to plan for your clients.”It’s not that you broke the rules, but they were the ones who led themselves astray first!”

Jin Yan looked at Lin Yun in a daze, not expecting her to say that.

Many people around him kept telling him that what he did was wrong!

No one’s manager did what he did! He would disrupt the entire industry!

This young girl in front of him was the second person besides his boss who was willing to believe him…

But…

Lin Yun was very sure that for a moment, Jin Yan’s eyes flickered.

However, it was only for a moment before the light disappeared again.

Lin Yun was helpless. She planned to think of another way to cheer the person up. At this moment, the boss walked over with two cups of lemon tea.

“Come, come, come! Ice-cold lemon tea! All the bad moods will disappear!”

The boss said happily, as if the cup of lemon tea really had magic power.

Lin Yun picked up the cup and took a sip. The cold feeling did relieve the frustration from before, and she felt much more relaxed.

The boss left happily.

Lin Yun stared at Jin Yan, who still had his head lowered, and did not speak.

After a while, Jin Yan looked up at Lin Yun again. “Alright! I’ll work hard to return the money to you! I’ll do anything you want me to!”

Seeing Jin Yan’s fearless state, Lin Yun couldn’t help but smile.

“Alright! I want you to work with me and earn back my 30 million yuan within a month!” Lin Yun had a confident smile on her face.
