When Wang Lan and Lin Cheng heard this, they looked at each other and instantly felt heartache.

Wang Lan’s eyes were filled with tears again. “Of course! This is your home!”

“My poor child!”

“You’re home!”

Lin Cheng gently placed his hand on the shoulders of the mother and daughter. “From today onwards, you are the eldest daughter of the Lin family, Lin Yu!”

Lin Yu nodded slightly, as if she was still at a loss about this change in identity.

Wang Lan sighed and held Lin Yu’s hand as they walked towards the living room.

Lin Yu sat on the sofa while Wang Lan sat beside her.

“Xiao Yu, don’t be afraid. From today onwards, the Lin family will be your home!”

“Your dad and I will take good care of you!”

“We will try our best to make up for what we owe you all these years!”

“Everything in the Lin family belongs to you!”

As Wang Lan spoke, she called out to the butler, “Housekeeper Lin!”

Butler Lin hurriedly walked forward and handed over the brocade box that he had prepared earlier.

Wang Lan took the brocade box and took out a jade bracelet. “This is a gift from my parents! Do you like it?”

Lin Yu looked down at the jade bracelet in the brocade box in front of her and was momentarily dazed.

Seeing that Lin Yu didn’t move, Wang Lan took out the jade bracelet and put it on her hand.

Lin Yu finally felt that it was real.

“How is it? Do you like it?” Wang Lan smiled and asked softly.

Lin Yu looked up and gave Wang Lan a sincere smile. “I like it!”

“Thank you, Mom!” She looked at Wang Lan and called out softly.

Then, she turned to Lin Cheng and smiled like a flower. “Thank you, Dad!”

Wang Lan and Lin Cheng looked at each other and saw relief in each other’s eyes.

At that moment, the maid Xiao Xia ran over.

She walked to Wang Lan’s side and said softly, “Madam, Aunt Xu called to say…”

Xiao Xia paused and looked in Lin Yu’s direction.

Seeing this, Wang Lan snorted in dissatisfaction. “What did she say? When did you learn to speak so hesitantly?”

Xiao Xia took a deep breath and said, “Aunt Xu said that Missy has woken up and asked when you’re going to the hospital to see her?”

“What Missy!” Wang Lan screamed as if she had been pricked by a needle.

Lin Yu was shocked by Wang Lan and her body trembled uncontrollably.

Wang Lan realized that she had frightened Lin Yu and quickly comforted her. “Don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid!”

Then, she said to Xiao Xia, “Tell Aunt Xu to take care of her!”

Xiao Xia seemed hesitant, but she mouthed her words.

“What else?” Wang Lan was a little angry, and her tone became even colder.

Xiao Xia swallowed her saliva and continued, “Aunt Xu said that Miss… No, Miss Lin, no…”

Wang Lan was a little irritated when she heard that. She waved her hand and said, “Just say what she said!”

“She said she wanted to talk to you about—” She began, then paused.

Wang Lan angrily slapped her. “Get lost if you don’t know how to speak!”

Only then did Xiao Xia regain her composure. “Aunt Xu said that the previous Miss wanted to talk to you. She said that she knew everything and wanted to leave the Lin family!”

Wang Lan and Lin Cheng were stunned.

They didn’t expect Lin Yun to already know about this.

He had originally planned to discuss this matter with Lin Yun after Lin Yu returned home.

Unexpectedly, she had actually chosen to talk about this troublesome matter on such a good day!

“Tell Aunt Xu to take good care of her. We’ll talk about this later!” Wang Lan said impatiently.

Lin Yu looked at Wang Lan and Lin Cheng, but didn’t say anything.

Xiao Xia hurriedly ran over to answer Aunt Xu.

The news of the real eldest daughter of the Lin family returning home quickly became a hot topic on the news.

As evening approached, more than 10 television stations, newspapers, and magazines reported on this matter. It was also all over social media!

Wang Lan instructed the kitchen to prepare a sumptuous dinner according to Lin Yu’s preferences.

The family of three sat around the dining table, talking and laughing. It looked like a heartwarming scene.

When Aunt Xu pushed the wheelchair into the mansion, Butler Lin rushed to the dining room and reported, “Master, Madam, Miss… Miss Lin Yun is back!”

“What?” Wang Lan was stunned for a moment. She dropped the food she was about to put in Lin Yu’s bowl.

Lin Cheng choked on his wine and coughed a few times.

Lin Yu turned to look at Butler Lin in a daze, as if she didn’t know what had happened.
