Chapter 797: Audition (2)

“Yun Buyao is here!”

Someone shouted in the waiting hall, and the noisy crowd immediately fell silent for a moment. Only when they saw Yun Buyao slowly walk in surrounded by security guards did they suddenly wake up.

“It’s Yun Buyao!”

“I thought the organizers hyped up the news!”

“Oh my, I’m seeing her in person!”

“She’s so beautiful in person. I’m going to cry!”

When they saw Yun Buyao, these people’s excitement was overflowing. These newcomers who were determined to become actors and actresses undoubtedly had Yun Buyao in their hearts.

Yun Buyao waved at the crowd and shouted softly, “All the best, everyone.”

Then, she entered the audition venue.

Jian Yiyi felt her palms sweat. The nervousness she had suppressed just now seemed to surge up again, mixed with indescribable excitement.

“Yiyi, when you go in later, don’t look at the examiners. Think of yourself as Luo Yun. Imagine the plot with no distracting thoughts.” Dong Jie didn’t forget to comfort her.

Jian Yiyi nodded firmly and took a deep breath. After a while, she felt better.

This was the best opportunity for her to enter the entertainment circle. If she could get this role, she might become famous overnight. After all, the quality of the production team was evident, and the box office sales would not be bad.

In another corner of the waiting hall, a fair and handsome boy was equally nervous.

The boy was none other than Wang Mingxiao, who had offended Jian Ai when Rose Entertainment wanted to sign him.

Beside him was still the fat and noisy man.

“Mingxiao, don’t screw up. If you succeed this time, you’ll be completely famous!” The fat man looked even more nervous than Wang Mingxiao. As he spoke, he kept fanning Wang Mingxiao.

“You already have advertisements now. With your appearance and conditions, you’re born to be a celebrity. We’re just short of this last step. I heard the director won an Oscar, so whoever will be in this movie will become famous. You have to get yourself a role.”

Wang Mingxiao had a headache from the noise. He immediately frowned impatiently. “Uncle, stop nagging. Let me calm down.”

It turned out that Wang Mingxiao’s manager was his biological uncle.

The fat man quickly nodded. “Alright, I’ll stop talking. Calm down and perform well later.”

Not long after, the staff called out names.

“Qihua Management, Wang Mingxiao.”

The first person to be called was Wang Mingxiao.

“Eh? Mingxiao, you’re the first. Go, go!”

Wang Mingxiao quickly walked over. “Hello, I’m Wang Mingxiao.”

As he spoke, he handed the information in his hands to the staff.

The person looked at him indifferently and said, “Come in with me.”

The audition venue was a dark stage. There was a long table below the stage with five people sitting. In the middle was Yun Buyao.

Wang Mingxiao walked to the middle of the stage and felt the empty environment around him. His heart beat wildly.

“Hello, teachers…”

As soon as he spoke, an echo sounded in the venue, scaring Wang Mingxiao.

He paused for a moment before calming himself down and continuing, “My name is Wang Mingxiao. I’m from Qihua Management Company. I’m seventeen years old this year. The role I’m auditioning for this time is the third male lead in ‘Interweaving Night,’ Tong Fei.”

After a simple introduction, Wang Mingxiao walked to a corner of the stage alone and sat down. Then, he curled up and hugged himself tightly.

The audition began.
