“Ah, don’t get excited, sir.” The Merikan smiled and raised his hand in a gesture of sincerity. “See, I don’t have anything on me, but you have a gun and bullets. You can be reassured.”

“All right.” The mercenary leader turned his handgun around in his hands twice and then put it into his trousers’ pocket. “I believe you are sincere. Now, I think it’s time you tell me about the benefits you are offering us.”

Fancy words meant nothing in front of tangible benefits. The Merikans knew that well. He said to one of the bodyguards, “Can you help to bring in the box I brought? All the good stuff is in it.”

“Go get it.” The mercenary leader ordered.

Soon, the box was brought in. It was a big box nearly a meter long. When the Merikans were handed the box, they opened it. When the mercenary leader saw the contents inside, he immediately drew in a sharp breath!

“Kel-Tec RFB front shell-type unsupported rifle. KRISS Vector series submachine gun, M240B standard infantry medium machine gun, SMAW-D83mm rocket launcher…”

After introducing all the weapons in the box, the Merikan smiled and said, “For our cooperation this time, we can provide enough of these weapons to arm one thousand people to the teeth, as well as one hundred million US dollars. What do you think?”

The mercenary leader gulped. “Deal!”

…

“So boring…” On Big Fish, Hong was bored and lying on Li Nianwei’s lap in Lin Chuyin’s temporary laboratory. He said, “There’s nothing fun to do, sailing is boring…”

It was no wonder he was depressed. Sailing seemed like fun, but in fact, there was nothing to look at out at sea except for water. It looked the same no matter where you looked. Everything was blue.

The sky was blue, the sea was blue, and the aircraft carrier was gray—nothing more.

“Hey,” Lin Chuyin did not have similar thoughts. All she needed was her laboratory. “Do you want to build a submarine? If you want, I can consider designing one.”

“Okay, build a submarine.” Hong Dali nodded listlessly. Suddenly, his eyes lit up and he said excitedly, “Wahahahaha, now that you mention it, you have reminded me that there is something fun to do here!”

“Dali, what did you remember?” Tang Muxin perked up when she heard Hong Dali say that there was something fun to do. “What fun is there?”

“Come with me!” Hong Dali grabbed Tang Muxin’s hand and ran outside excitedly. “Everyone, come with me, too. Let’s have some fun! Wahahahaha!”

All of Hong Dali’s classmates ran over when they heard him say there was something fun to do. The Bureau Chief, too, felt curious and followed them.

Within ten minutes or so, about fifty people gathered on the deck. They were all waiting for Hong Dali to tell them what fun there was out here. After all, in the two days since they had set off to sea, everyone did nothing except play mahjong and poker. The football field was under construction, the school was under construction, the beach pool was under construction. Everything was still being built. In short, nothing was usable yet.

It was no wonder everyone was curious about the fun activity Hong Dali was talking about…

The Bureau Chief asked, “Brat, what good idea do you have? My old bones are almost rusting from sitting around these two days. Ah…” He was the head of the National Security Bureau. Although his purpose in following Hong Dali was to protect him, what could happen to Hong Dali here? So, as long as Hong Dali was fine, the Bureau Chief had nothing to do. Since the Bureau Chief had nothing to do, he was bored out of his wits…

Hong Dali’s classmates were gathered on one side. “Big Bro Dali, what fun is there? Quick, tell us about it!””Yes, everything is under construction these two days, we can’t touch anything.””Yeah, we are going to turn moldy doing nothing!”

“Everyone, do not be anxious. Hehe, my idea is earth-shattering and soul-rending.” Hong Dali said proudly, “It may take a while though, so everyone must have patience. You just need to be patient! The anxious don’t get to eat hot tofu!”

Everyone was silent immediately, waiting to find out what this earth-shattering, soul-rending idea was.

“You, get me some meat. I want it bloody.” Hong Dali instructed the lackeys. “Get plenty of it. Bring twenty or thirty pounds first.”

“Yes!” Upon Hong Dali’s command, three male lackeys immediately went off to get the meat.

Everyone was confused. “Eh, Big Bro Dali said to get meat, and it must be bloody. What’s this situation now?””How would I know. Are we preparing for an open-air barbecue?””I think it’s possible. Look, we are on the sea, the sun is shining. If we get a barbecue grill and roast a whole lamb or something, it sounds pretty good, too.””It’s good. Barbecue, cold beer… Wow, I’m salivating! A good sleep after drinking, that’ll be wonderful.”

Soon, while the classmates were arguing, the lackeys brought out the frozen pork that had been specially transported into the aircraft carrier. Each of the three lackeys carried half a pig and dropped them in front of Hong Dali as if they were carrying rabbits. “Young Master, the meat is here. What do we do with them? Do you want to skewer them? These pigs are ginseng fed by the people at the New Lanxiang Culinary School. The taste is absolutely first class!”

The Bureau Chief’s mouth gaped open as he listened to them—the New Lanxiang Culinary School was feeding pigs ginseng now…

“Yes, yes. Not bad.” Hong Dali looked carefully at the three pig halves and nodded. “Hook them up and throw them into the water. Throw them further away.”

“Dali!” Tang Muxin’s eyes opened wide. “You are not thinking of… catching a shark?!”

Tang Muxin couldn’t think of anything else to do with bloody pork that was to be thrown into the sea except for shark fishing.

All classmates got curious as well. “Is Big Bro Dali planning to fish sharks? To eat shark’s fins? No, it can’t be. Although Brother Dali doesn’t avoid eating meat, he never takes the initiative to kill…””Yes, yes. I am not sure what is happening either.”

Bureau Chief asked, “Brat, you’re planning to attract sharks with this bloody pork? Aren’t you planning to eat them?”

“Of course not!” Hong Dali nodded complacently. “I’m going to ride a shark!”

“What?!” When everyone heard Hong Dali saying that he was going to ride a shark, all their mouths gaped open in surprise.

The fun thing that Hong Dali was talking about was to ride sharks? Could a shark even be ridden? Were they riding sharks or feeding sharks?!

The Bureau Chief held on tightly to Hong Dali’s arm. “Brat, are you really sure you want to ride a shark?! That’s a shark! It’s not a dolphin! Are you confusing sharks for dolphins!”

“No! How can I mix them up!” Hong Dali said fiercely, “Do you see dolphins in the vicinity? If you want to ride something, it can only be sharks which we can attract with meat! It’s said that sharks have a very sensitive sense of smell. They can smell things from a long distance!”

“Oh,” Lin Chuyin gave everything a scientific fact. She said, “The total area of the olfactory membrane of a one-meter shark can reach 4,842 square centimeters, so the shark’s sense of smell is very sensitive, and it can smell blood from a few kilometers away.”

It was not a good time to introduce the olfactory prowess of sharks! Tang Muxin hugged Hong Dali tightly from behind. “Dali, tell us if something is troubling you. Don’t do this! You will get eaten up by the sharks!”

“Why would I get eaten!” Hong Dali was completely bewildered. “I am a shark’s… no, I’m Animals’ Best Friend! Do you remember the mountain on the edge of Water Spirit Village? Remember the bracelet that I’m wearing on my hand?”

When Water Spirit Village and the mysterious bug repellent bracelet Hong Dali was wearing was mentioned, Tang Muxin finally released her grip.

When they were at Water Spirit Village, it was true that a lot of animals got very close to Hong Dali. The wooden bracelet was given to him by a monkey who looked like it was making an offering.

However, monkeys and bears were mammals. At least, they were a little more intelligent.

These were sharks. What if these ginseng-fed pork attracted the most terrifying great white shark… Even if Hong Dali was close to animals, would it work with the sharks?

“Let’s assume you are Animals’ Best Friend.” Tang Muxin thought for a moment. “We still have to guarantee your safety. It’s a shark, not a small animal. If it attacks, it will be serious. So for the sake of insurance,” Tang Muxin tried one last time to stop him. “You have to test first to see if the sharks will listen to you!”

“Yes, Xinxin cares about me the most, hehe.” Hong Dali rubbed his chin. “That’s what we will do!”

He was thoughtless, but fortunately, Tang Muxin still cared about his safety. This method was really not bad. If the shark listened to him, then naturally nothing bad would happen. If it did not listen, there was still time to run.

They let the dinghy down—we called it a dinghy, but in fact, it was a small military ship about ten meters long. Then, they hooked the pig’s head and lowered it into the sea.

Everyone’s attention was concentrated on the dinghy, waiting to see what would happen next.

Christina secretly pulled at a corner of Levis’ clothes and whispered, “Can the prodigal Hong Dali really ride a shark?”

Levis: “Well, he can’t possibly be sending himself to his own death, right? If that’s true, it would save us some trouble—I doubt it, though.”

Christina nodded. “I think so, too. Although he is as thoughtless as the rumors say, I don’t think he’d joke with his own life. Maybe he really wants to ride a shark…”

On the other side, Lucifer peeked at Lin Chuyin as he waited with eyes wide for Hong Dali to ride a shark. Actually, Lucifer had seen Lin Chuyin before and had immediately fallen in love with her. He had worshipped her like a nerd’s goddess. The problem was, Lin Chuyin had never seen Lucifer before. She only knew that such a person existed. That was why Hong Dali had no idea that his love rival was just next to him.

“Eh, dear, do you think Young Master Dali can really ride a shark?” Mu Yunyun tugged at Lucifer secretly. “Young Master Dali really dares to dream.”

“He’s just an amusing idiot.” Lucifer muttered, “A super scary idiot.”
