Picking Up Attributes From Today Chapter 54: Giving Larry A Savage Beating, Spending Money To Apologize

Chapter 54: Giving Larry A Savage Beating, Spending Money To Apologize

The crisp-sounding slap sent Larry flying, and he smashed headfirst into a bed that was made of black iron and wood. The impact broke the bed into tiny pieces!

The entire dormitory fell quiet instantly!

Everyone stared blankly at Larry, who was smashed into the bed and then at Meng Lei, who was quietly standing there. No one had any response. Larry… was knocked into the air like this?

He was a Fourth-Grade Warrior, after all!

Roar!

Just when everyone was bewildered, Larry slapped the ground with bloodshot eyes. “Damn you, cheap piece of trash! How dare you attack me? I am going to kill you!”

Larry instantly turned into a gust of wind and charged toward Meng Lei, with speed comparable to that of a Fourth-Grade Warrior. In the blink of an eye, he appeared in front of Meng Lei!

“Die, you cheap piece of trash!”

Larry used up all his strength and smashed his fist downward—it was a ferocious move!

Joseph’s eyelids twitched when he saw this scene, and his heart almost jumped out of his mouth!

“Brother Meng Lei, be careful!”

“No need to worry!”

Meng Lei smiled at Joseph and casually stretched out his right hand. Then a thud resounded as he grabbed Larry’s fist in his palm!

The ferocious fist, terrifying power, and violent aura… All these vanished into thin air, like a clay ox entering the sea—never to be seen again!

“How… could this be possible?”

Larry’s angry eyes widened as he felt the terrifying power coursing through his fist. He was horrified. Unexpectedly, this seemingly thin and weak human piece of trash possessed terrifying power!

“Oh my dragon god!”

“Am I seeing things?”

“He… actually caught Larry’s attack?”

“Incredible!”

“Larry is a genuine Fourth-Grade Warrior. His attacks are terrifying. He actually ended up getting caught so easily?”

Everyone’s jaws almost dropped. They were aware of how strong Larry, who possessed the Black Dragon’s pure bloodline, was. Even before joining the academy, he had been a Third-Grade Warrior, and during the final exam, he had a successful breakthrough, becoming a Fourth-Grade Warrior!

Given his talents, the academy’s unbelievably powerful top two students were only slightly stronger than him. As for everyone else… They were no match for him!

However, now, a seemingly cheap piece of trash that had appeared out of nowhere had actually neutralized Larry’s attack so easily?

It was simply shocking, confusing, and unbelievable!

“You’re only making a fool out of yourself with your weak strength!” Meng Lei shook his head slightly and closed his palm. Then, a crisp “clack” echoed, and Larry’s fist broke in pieces. His face contorted in pain as he broke into a cold sweat!

“You think that you can bully people at will, just because you have some strength?”

Meng Lei stretched out his left fist and smashed it into Larry’s stomach. Larry spewed out blood. He was in such great pain that he curled up into the shape of a shrimp!

“He who insults others will always be humiliated! When you bully others, have you never thought that you will be bullied someday?”

Meng Lei’s eyes were emotionless. He raised his knee and shattered Larry’s chin. The poor fellow couldn’t even scream in pain!

“Kneel down!”

Meng Lei stretched out his right hand and pressed on Larry’s shoulder. Suddenly, an overbearing force surged forth, and Larry bent his knees, collapsing on the ground!

Whimper—

Larry seemed to have suffered great humiliation. Veins popped out on his forehead while both his eyes were bloodshot. He was crazily struggling to stand up, but Meng Lei’s right hand appeared to be an immovable force. No matter how much Larry struggled, he was unable to resist!

“Oh my dragon god!”

“Is this little fellow human?”

Joseph’s four roommates looked at the kneeling Larry, struggling on the ground. He was slightly trembling, and his eyes filled with horror. Larry… had no power to resist!

He was utterly defeated!

Isn’t Brother Meng Lei a Magician? Why is his physical body so strong?

Joseph was stunned and suspicious. The roommates didn’t know much about Meng Lei’s background, but he knew everything about him. It was precisely because of this that he was even more shocked and confused than the others!

It’s said that a Magician’s body is generally very weak, but Brother Meng Lei…

“We are doomed! He’s coming after us!”

Three of the four roommates, like Larry, often bullied Joseph. At this moment, having witnessed Larry’s horrible situation, their faces went pale with fright—they were terror-stricken!

Usually, what you feared most would come looking for you!

Meng Lei suddenly turned his head, and his emotionless eyes fell on them. “Who else has bullied Joseph before? Step forward!”

Boom!

As soon as this statement escaped his lips, the three roommates turned into jelly and almost collapsed on the ground in fright. They were doomed. Meng Lei was looking at them to enact revenge!

What should we do?

“So, you have the guts to do the deed, but not for admitting it?” Meng Lei’s voice became colder. “Joseph, who are the people that bullied you? Point them out to me!”

“Brother Meng Lei, just forget it!”

Joseph was a kind and honest teenage boy. Although he hated his roommates for bullying him, he had no intention of taking revenge!

“Joseph, this is not acceptable!” Meng Lei shook his head. “We abide by our duty and do not take the initiative to bully others. But… If anyone tries to bully us, we won’t let them!”

After speaking, Meng Lei looked at the four roommates again. “I will give you one last chance. If you have bullied Joseph before, step forward! Otherwise, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

“I… I…”

A handsome boy, whose face was pale, teeth were clattering, and legs were trembling, stuttered, “I… bullied… Joseph… before!”

“Great!” Meng Lei nodded slightly.

Thud!

The handsome boy knelt down with a thud and slapped himself in the face. “I deserve to die! I’m a jerk! I shouldn’t have bullied Joseph! I am willing to apologize! I am willing to compensate! Just let me go! I beg you!”

“Compensate?” Meng Lei’s heart trembled. “If you think that everything will be okay by handing out some compensation after bullying someone, then what are we training for!?”

“10,000 gold coins! No! 30,000 gold coins! I am willing to give 30,000 gold coins as compensation! I guarantee that I won’t bully Joseph ever again!” cried the handsome boy, tearfully. He was just a step away from wetting his pants!

“30,000 gold coins? Do you think you are chasing away a beggar?” Meng Lei gave a cold snort. “I will let you off for 50,000 gold coins. Otherwise…”

“50,000!” exclaimed the handsome boy, his eyes betraying his pain. However, when he met Meng Lei’s indifferent gaze, he couldn’t help but shiver. “Okay! I am willing to give 50,000 gold coins as compensation!”

“Right!” Meng Lei nodded slightly and turned toward the remaining three.

“I am also willing to give 50,000 gold coins as compensation!”

“Me too!”

Two of them hurriedly expressed their intentions. Although the loss of 50,000 gold coins pained them greatly, they didn’t want to end up like Larry, who was beaten to the point that even his own mother would be unable to recognize him!

This was simply too pitiful!

“Hand over the money now!” commanded Meng Lei and reached out his hand.

“Yes, yes!”

The trio did not dare to be tardy, and promptly took out their magic crystal cards!

“Who is fighting in the dormitory?”

At that moment, a cold and angry roar resounded!
