Chapter 165: Alright, How About You Guys Do It Together? 3

Long Wu shook his head, “The difficulty should be increased. I think it’s just right. Given the current environment, if the assessment was as easy as it was a few years ago, the casualties will be even greater in the future.”

The red-haired investigator was silent for a moment. He seemed to have thought of something, and after thinking about how to respond for a long time, he said, “That’s true.”

At this moment, a few beastmasters flew down from the hatch of the sea mechanical kun.

“Dear investigators guarding this place, the assessment has ended,” The white-haired old man in the lead said with a smile, “Thank you for the hard work. We’ve relied on you several times to enter the secret realm and save many who were in danger. Now, please come with us to take a look at the results.”

“You’re too courteous, simply too courteous, Elder Bai!” Long Wu cupped his hands and said, “This is our responsibility, to begin with.”

As he said that, the group flew into sea mechanical kun from mid-air.

In a spacious safety room, the beastmasters who had come out of the Hidden Mysterious Realm gathered here to rest and recover.

As a unique large-scale secret realm, they had to jump down to enter. When they wanted to leave, they only needed to fly to the edge of the sky in the outer area, and they would be able to leave the secret realm and return to the sea mechanical kun.

At this moment, it was quite lively as many were discussing their fortuitous encounters and assessment results.

“The fierce beasts in the Hidden Mysterious Realm are really strong! Thank God I’m taking the aide class assessment. I just secretly found a place to lie low for half a day and only met two fierce beasts, passing the assessment perfectly! The motto of aides is if we can lie low, we will win!”

“I didn’t even dare to take a step into the core area…”

“I did enter the core area, but I was spotted by a demon skeleton sword ghost the moment I did. Fortunately, I slipped away quickly…”

“That thing is really not something we can kill. Our standard three-man team took half an hour to barely kill one. After that, we couldn’t recover at all.”

“Actually, there are some very monstrous beastmasters. I saw one who could fight against the beasts alone…”

“Speaking of which, how are the results calculated?”

“How else? It either depends on the number of fierce beast materials collected or our survival time. As for the demon skeleton sword hilt, I reckon that many won’t have such a thing.”

“Uh… I think I have three.”

“F*ck, and expert!”

…

All of the participants were in a state where they had just returned from the dungeon and were talking about it enthusiastically.

Up ahead.

“Lu Xun, fighter class assessment. Killed a total of five seven-star level 2 fierce beasts killed and survived 16 hours. Assessment passed.”

“Ye Zheng, tyrant class assessment. Joined a three-man team that killed 12 seven-star level 2 fierce beasts and survived 19 hours. Assessment passed.”

“Qin Tian, warlock class assessment. Joined a four-man team that killed eight one-star level 3 fierce beasts and survived 21 hours. Assessment passed.”

…

Lu Dahai recited everyone’s assessment results.

His speed was very fast. For a beastmaster of his level, he could accurately estimate the results of the beastmasters with just a glance of their materials.

After bringing up the footage from the monitoring room, he could then accurately calculate their survival time.

At the same time, to prevent others from saying that they were cheating or that they had missed something, he would play the relevant footage of the beastmasters’ battle scenes as recorded by the photoelectric shuttles in the secret realm when reporting the results.

With this, the vast majority of beastmasters could see what their performance was like in the outer area.

The rest of the beastmasters would also gain some understanding of the situation, thus proving the effectiveness of the survival assessment.

“Gou Hao, aide class assessment. Didn’t kill any fierce beasts and survived for forty-six hours. Assessment… Assessment passed,” Lu Dahai read out the results of a beastmaster’s assessment.

After he finished reading, he was stunned.

Then, he raised his head in puzzlement and looked at the recorded footage.

The scene was presented in a hologram and was very realistic.

However, it was just a black screen.

It meant that the latter’s survival in the secret realm had been completely uncaptured.

Not even a single image of him was captured.

This immediately attracted the attention of the others.

“F*ck, it can’t be? He survived that long? Why is the screen black?”

“Forty-two hours? That’s the limit of the energy tonic, right? This means that he hasn’t experienced a battle nor has he encountered a fierce beast, and hasn’t done anything…”

“F*ck, he’s so f*cking good at hiding. Everyone, look carefully. The screen is showing the underground. This guy hid underground and buried himself.”

“As expected of aides, they’re truly capable of hiding. As long as one in a support-type class can survive, it’s considered a victory, right?”

…

The few examiners beside Lu Daying also had strange expressions on their faces.

They had seen people who were capable of hiding, but they had never seen someone who was that capable of doing so.

Of course, as an aide, their passing requirements for the assessment weren’t very high.

They weren’t required to kill fierce beasts. As long as they could survive for twenty hours, they could pass the assessment.

It sounded simple, but in reality, it was extremely difficult.

Because in the secret realm, no matter where one was, one was bound to encounter a fierce beast.

As long as one encountered a fierce beast, one could not avoid a battle.

To be able to live for so long without experiencing even one battle, he was quite a weirdo.

It was like doing all the multiple choice questions on the exam paper and getting a zero in the end.

To be able to stay in the secret realm without being discovered by any fierce beasts was, in a sense, a very powerful ability.

“Not bad, young man,” Lu Daying looked at the plain and somewhat wretched-looking young man before him.

“It was good luck, pure luck,” Gou Hao was unkempt and dressed in plain clothes. He was someone who would be ignored in a crowd.

After that, the results continued to be broadcasted.

Until…

“Zhao Ping, fighter class assessment. Killed seven demon skeleton sword ghosts and eight one-star level 3 fierce beasts. Survived for 39 hours. Assessment passed, currently ranked first.”
