“Little girl, we’re not bad people. You can sell the watch in the city and live a better life.”

“It’s for you cooking corn paste for us, is that okay?” Huo Mian softly said to the girl.

After dinner, when it was time for rest, the little girl brought them two old blankets. That seemed to be all she had.

“I’m obviously going to accompany Mian in here.”

“In your dreams… I’ll never give you a chance to hurt Mian. You go in the car.” Su Yu and Huo Siqian began arguing again.

“Stop fighting, both of you go out.”

“I’m not in the mood to do that, but I am willing to hear more about Leila.”
