“He thinks that if we don’t go over, Tuan Tuan won’t be willing to stay alone at his Cen residence, right?” Lin Nuan gripped Fu Huai’an’s hand, looking a little smug at having guessed Cen Mo’s true intentions.

Fu Huai’an nodded. “Whose clever wife is this?”

“I told Cen Mo that I’d discuss it with you…” Fu Huai’an pushed open the bedroom door, holding Lin Nuan’s shoulders as they entered the room, then closed the door behind him. “I’m guessing that Song Yao will call you to tell you about this matter early tomorrow morning!”

“Then, if you don’t have any objections, I’ll promise Song Yao. When I’m filming during the day, Song Yao can play with Tuan Tuan. Let Song Yao have a sense of what it feels like to be a mother!”

“Okay, let’s do as you say…” Fu Huai’an’s eyes were full of smiles.

When Fu Huai’an and Lin Nuan fell asleep, it was already 3:30 am. The next morning, Lin Nuan still had to wake up early to go to the filming.

After coming out of the bathroom, Lin Nuan saw that Fu Huai’an had already gotten out of bed. He was already wearing his shirt, and his back was facing her. His long and slim fingers grazed past his collar, making a sound like a feather brushing against something, which made one’s heart itch.

Lin Nuan lightly jogged over and hugged Fu Huai’an from behind. “Why didn’t you sleep a little longer?”

“To send you to the set!” Fu Huai’an smiled with his head lowered, buttoning his shirt.

“There’s no need for you to do that!” Lin Nuan wiggled out from under Fu Huai’an’s armpit and circled her arms around his narrow waist. “You worked until so late last night, so sleep in a little more! If you have the time to send me to the set, you might as well use that time to sleep a little longer at home!”

Gazing at Fu Huai’an’s deep-set features, Lin Nuan pursed her lips. “Sleep a little more now. When the cake shop opens, you can buy a cake and visit me at work!”

Lin Nuan was trying all means to make Fu Huai’an sleep a little longer…

“Okay. I’ll help Tuan Tuan pack up his things and head to the Cen residence today.”

Lin Nuan nodded. “Then you don’t have to visit me at work today. Help Tuan Tuan settle in properly. The first day that Tuan Tuan is there, he’ll certainly feel uncomfortable. Do keep him company more!”

Hearing the honking of the car downstairs, Lin Nuan turned around and glanced at the French windows. “I should get going!”

“Breakfast!” Fu Huai’an grabbed Lin Nuan’s wrist.

“I’ll eat breakfast on the road. I’ll definitely eat it, don’t worry!” Before Lin Nuan left, she couldn’t resist standing on her tiptoes and kissing Fu Huai’an on the corner of his lips. She then picked up her jacket and headed out the door.

You Nainai was done packing early on and was standing at the door. Seeing Lin Nuan come out, she nodded. “Let’s go!”

The minute Lin Nuan went downstairs, she saw that the two bodyguards Cen Mo sent were waiting for her.

Lin Nuan nodded and greeted them. When she got into the car and saw Fang Yan, she said, “Sister Yan, in the future, you and Miss Xia don’t have to specially make a detour to come and fetch me. You guys can just go straight to the set. Nainai and I will come shortly after!”

Actually, Lin Nuan had initially wanted to invite Fang Yan and Miss Xia to move in with them. However, with so many people in the house, it would feel a little messy. Moreover, it would inconvenience Fu Huai’an in regard to his work. So, after Lin Nuan and Fu Huai’an discussed it, they decided to pick a day to invite Fang Yan and Miss Xia over to have a meal!

At five in the afternoon, when Fu Huai’an came to visit Lin Nuan with coffee and cake, the director told him that Lin Nuan was done filming her scenes for the day…

Lin Nuan looked at the man sitting beside her, then looked at the director. “Don’t I have another scene tonight?”

“Oh…” The director smiled and whacked his head with the script that he had rolled up into a scroll. “Didn’t I tell you this morning? One scene was changed. I forgot to tell you that the scene filmed tonight has been changed. So, you’re done filming for the day and can leave with your husband already!”

Fu Huai’an, who sat beside Lin Nuan, nodded slightly.

Lin Nuan couldn’t quite understand what was going on. She had this nagging feeling that something was amiss. Still, the confused Lin Nuan went to the dressing room to remove her makeup…

As Mu Taotao helped Lin Nuan remove her makeup, she said to her, “I heard from the assistant director just now… that Mr. Fu has replaced the largest investor of the movie. This time around, your filming times won’t exceed 5 pm!”

Lin Nuan paused in surprise… staring at Mu Taotao in the mirror as the latter helped her undo her hairdo.

“Sister Xiao Nuan, you have no idea. When everyone on the set heard this, they were dead envious of you. They all said that you have a wonderful husband!” Mu Taotao couldn’t conceal the envy in her tone.

Lin Nuan’s ears blushed.

Ah, so that was why she was suddenly notified that she could go back.

“This is great. Assistant Director Liu even said that Mr. Fu told the director that women needed to sleep and rise early… He asked the director to be more lenient towards the women!” Mu Taotao continued, “Now, thanks to you, all women on the set are benefiting from the change. The director said that by 8 pm, all of the female crew members could go back to rest. You have no idea how grateful everyone is towards you and your husband! But mainly, they are envious of you…”

Seeing the way Lin Nuan was blushing, Mu Taotao winked at Lin Nuan.

Lin Nuan kept smiling and didn’t say a word. The feeling of bliss was written all over her face.

In the car on the way to the Cen residence, Lin Nuan kept smiling, yet she pretended not to know anything, merely leaning against Fu Huai’an’s shoulder to rest.

Cen Mo and Song Yao were accompanying Tuan Tuan in the living room, playing flight chess. Little Lu stood and watched at the side, an adoring smile on his face. The little one had clearly won the game, yet he looked unhappy.

When Lin Nuan came, Tuan Tuan speedily ran over to her, spreading out both arms to grab hold of Lin Nuan’s leg. He clumsily lodged a complaint with Lin Nuan, saying that Fu Huai’an simply made a phone call before dumping him and heading out of the house!
