After Carulla defeated BB East, she did not stop her hand. Her full moon scepter shot out four divine lights which also killed Li Yi and the others.

Five top players, all died…

“How do we f*cking defeat that?” The Mountain was annoyed.

Carulla’s divine light was faster than the speed of light, and the damage was higher than tens of billions. It was impossible to survive the damage given the current equipment of the players.

“The God Wars really is a conspiracy, even if we fight to the end, it is impossible to become a god.” Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut sighed.

“Wham!”

Five pillars of black lights descended from the sky and struck the five bodies. Instantly, all five were resurrected with full HP.

“What?” Qian’er was surprised.

A shadow emerged from midair, and a ray of black light was shot at Carulla.

Carulla was knocked back three steps by the black light before being able to stand still.

One must know that this pretty woman was a god whose strength was comparable to that of the Ruler of Gods in ancient days. Carulla also came from that era and knew precisely the nature of Elusia.

Elusia looked around and did not see her target, “Where’s Omega?” She asked Carulla.

Omega was the Ruler of Gods.

Carulla waved the scepter in her hand and sneered. “Defeat me, and you can see him!”

“What happened? Why did the Death and Evil Gods show up? Whose quest is this?” The Mountain looked around and asked.

“Mine,” Li Yi replied.

After completing the Evil God Summoning, Elusia had secured a smooth return from the Alternate Dimension. Recently, she had been staying at the Tower of Remorse together with the Death God.

From Elusia, Li Yi knew everything about Ascension.

Following the hints of the Ascension Quest, one could only become a demigod in the end. There was only one way to become a True God, that was when the Ruler of Gods personally bestowed the honor. There was no other way.

The Ruler of Gods would not give out titles so easily, hence the so-called ‘God Wars’ was a mere trick by the Pantheon.

The Pantheon Mystery expansion pack mainly told the origin of the gods. In the game, lucky players would receive the Ascension Quest. As long as they carried on with the quest, they would eventually know where the gods came from.

Among the five of them, only Li Yi had successfully completed the final task of the Ascension Quest. With his help, the remaining four also learned about the secrets of the gods.

“Dimensional Authority—Destruction!”

Carulla attacked first. Her full moon scepter drew a stroke in the air and the surrounding space immediately exploded violently…

“Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!”

The explosion in the space struck the Evil and Death Gods, inflicting one billion damage.

“Life Authority—Restoration!”

“Death Authority—Harvest!”

The Evil God healed their injuries while the Death God went on a strong offensive and charged at Carulla. He laughed while wielding a giant scythe.

“Woosh!”

The scythe raked at her but Carulla did not flinch. As the scythe approached her, the full moon scepter flashed and her body turned from solid to transparent, easily evading the scythe.

“The Ruler of Gods’ Staff belongs only to me, Carulla, you do not deserve it. Life Authority—Aging!”

The Evil God snorted and extended her arms toward Carulla.

At a speed visible to the naked eye, Carulla’s body was rapidly aging.

One of the reasons the Evil God strength matched the Ruler of Gods was that her attack could be directly applied to the target without having to unleash it.

“Dimensional Authority—Destruction!”

Carulla raised her full moon scepter and pointed at the approaching Death God.

The Authority came into contact with Death God. In one blow the latter was shattered into hundreds of millions of tiny pieces.

“Life Authority—Restoration!”

Seeing her friend in danger, the Evil God immediately released her Authority intending to restore the Death God’s body.

“In your dreams!” Carulla threw a vivid ray of divine light from her hands and it hit the body fragments of the Death God.

“Dimensional Authority—Transportation!”

The Death God completely vanished.

“Damn!”

The Evil God was furious and used Aging again to accelerate the aging of Carulla’s body.

“Dimensional Authority—Time Reversal!”

The full moon scepter emanated a vibrant flash, and Carulla’s appearance gradually returned to youth.

The Evil God and Carulla were well-matched in strength and neither could gain the upper hand at the moment.

“What are we gonna do?” The Mountain asked

“Help her defeat Carulla?” Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut joined the discussion.

“First, no bullying. I dislike fighting an individual person when we have superior numbers.” There was no other wise*ss in their party that would say such things except BB East.

“Don’t help.” Li Yi shook his head. He gripped his Orange Quality Bow firmly and said, “If we have the means, better kill them all.”

“Carulla is not a benevolent figure, neither is the Evil God. It benefits none of us no matter who wins.”

“But I thought we were revived by the Evil God?” Qian’er said.

“That was the Dark Resurrection Spell. It won’t take long before we die again.”

The Mountain and the others immediately noticed the peculiar state of their bodies.

Their Attribute Panels each showed a timer, which was the negative effect of the Dark Resurrection Spell. When the number hit zero, death would surely follow.

“Why are the Gods such scheming sons of—” The Mountain felt frustrated.

“All the more reason to overthrow them.” Li Yi smiled.

“God Mode!”

“Zzzip zzzip!”

“Powered-up Arrow!”

The Spinning Arrow went straight toward Carulla.

Although the Evil God was not good, it was plain to see that Carulla was even worse.

“Thump!”

A layer of Divine Shield appeared on Carulla’s skin, blocking Li Yi’s attack.

“Wicked mortal! How dare you shoot at God?”

“What about it? You’re just a bunch of data, not an actual god? F*ck off!”

Li Yi was truly enraged, and his arrows did not stop.

Dolly was assisting at the side, exhibiting tacit teamwork between the pet and its owner.

“Ganging up on one person, shame…” BB East uttered with a long face.

“Hey Cat, do me a favor and pull that little sh*t off his high horse…” Li Yi private messaged The Cat that Sings.

After a dozen seconds, BB East hurried across and joined the battle.

“Beast Soul’s Possession— Lightning Leopard!”

“Divine Thunder Spell!”

The thunder rumbled.

Li Yi held no reservations, and now that the Dark Resurrection Spell was working, and all his skill attacks were doubled!

Thousands of divine thunder rained and pierced her Divine Shield. Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut and the others followed up with their own attacks, all of which landed right on Carulla…

Li Yi’s divine thunder had not ceased. Qian’er held her staff horizontally and her body ignited in flames. She turned into the Ancient Fire God with an estimated height of at least forty feet and spurted divine flames at the Evil God.

It was only a brief moment before Qian’er returned to her original state and was found sitting on her heels, exhausted.

Qian’er ability to summon the Ancient Fire God was a reward from her Ascension Quest.

The Evil God was fixated on the Ruler of Gods’ Staff. She did not notice the sneak attack by Li Yi and the others. As she grabbed hold of the Ruler of Gods’ Staff, Li Yi’s Divine Thunder Spell and Qian’er’s Divine Flame hit her directly in the face.

The chance of winning was almost zero when fighting against a god, but if it was an ambush, it would be entirely another matter.

The impact forced her to fall on her knees, but she did not release of the Ruler of Gods’ Staff.

“Let go!”

The Evil God and Carulla screamed at the same time. Neither of them had let go.

Both of them held on to opposite ends of the Ruler of God’s Staff. They did not look like gods, instead, they looked like a couple of loudmouths seizing the last bread in a grocery store.

Due to the exhaustion of Divine Power, Li Yi’s Thunder God appearance started to fade away.

“Are they not dead yet? Damn!”

“My turn!”

Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut moved forward in a bizarre way, with both fists held at her waist. She charged toward the Evil God and unleashed a golden fist.

“God-killing Fist!”

“Wham!”

With the Divine Power attached to her fists, she smashed more than 50 million worth of HP out of the Evil God.

“Wham! Wham! Wham!”

The unending golden fists slammed right on the head of the Evil God. Her pretty face was disfigured, leaving behind with what looked like a swollen pig’s head.

“Wham! Wham! Wham!”

Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut turned and assaulted Carulla. Since the gods were evenly matched, one being weaker than the other was not a good thing for Li Yi and the others, so the best way was to deplete their strength at the same time.

Li Yi retreated to catch his breath. When the Beast Soul’s Possession’s cooldown period ended, he immediately transformed into the Six-armed Red Macaque. He then summoned a Water Clone and used Thousand Sword Criss-cross.

Although the Blademaster was not a divine class, his seven Sealing Swords, all of which contained Divine Power, made up for that.

“Ffffkrrrrshhzzz—”

The atmosphere was filled with blade auras that surrounded Carulla and the Evil God. He then launched a sweeping attack.

Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut only unleashed sixteen God-killing Fists before turning pale, signifying the exhaustion of her Divine Power.

As black air radiated into the atmosphere, the HP of the Evil God and Carulla suddenly went down by a lot.

The Mountain had summoned and detonated the Dark King imbued with his own Divine Power to assist in the assault.

Li Yi’s Thousand Sword Criss-cross continued. With the blessing of the Dark Resurrection Spell and the Water Clone doubling his attacks, the power of his sword skills was greatly increased.
