That was what happened when Li Yi used Evil Energy along with his own attributes.

He had nearly killed the Bloodsnarl boss in an instant!

“Lok’tar… Orcs will never… admit defeat…”

With those final words, Bloodsnarl fell to the ground, died. There were no longer any evil orcs still standing alive on the Plains map. They had all been exterminated.

“That was fast!”

“Bad*ss!”

“F*ck me…”

“D*mn…”

It had been too fast. They had thought that the boss fight would be a difficult challenge, but no one knew that it would be over so quickly. Such an ending was way beyond their expectations.

The Cat that Sings called out, “The second stage is starting soon. Get ready, comrades, the fight’s on!”

“Roar— Roar—”

They could hear orc howls coming from the distance, and large orc dressed in rags ran toward them majestically, carrying a greataxe.

It was the Great Chief, Hellhowl!

More alarmingly, the label above its head said Level 1000 Evil Energy!

Level 1000 Evil Energy was not something players could fight against, so the first thing they had to do if they wanted to defeat Hellhowl was to weaken its powers.

“Run!”

With a wave of his hand, Li Yi led the retreat.

“Is it that strong?”

The Cat that Sings placed a Steel-coated Bomb on the floor, then she immediately turned around and ran.

Hellhowl ran up to it and stomped directly on the Steel-coated Bomb. There was a bomb, and debris flew everywhere, but the damage figure that rose from the top of its head said [−0].

The attack was completely ineffective!

The Cat that Sings ran as she asked, “Well, d*mn, this thing’s an even bigger pain. What do we do now, Dark Wing?”

“We run and collect Energy Crystals while we’re at it. Avoid it, make sure it never catches up.”

The Cat that Sings understood instantly. “Got it. Comrades, scatter!”

The ten members scattered, but just in case, Li Yi used three consecutive True Overlord Arrows to pull Hellhowl’s aggro.

The True Overlord Arrow could not harm the Great Orc Chief with Level 1000 Evil Energy either. All it could do was pull its aggro.

Li Yi had Aspect of the Leopard the entire time, wore his Rocket Boots, and could even teleport within his Territory barrier. That was why he was confident he could kite the Great Chief and buy his teammates time.

As they collected Energy Crystals, the players grew stronger, but the Great Chief Hellhowl was becoming more formidable as well. The only way to defeat him was to surpass his growth speed.

Hellhowl grew faster and faster. It was the Great Orc Chief, and it had many Warrior-type skills, such as Charge and Hero’s Leap among others. It could use them masterfully too, so kiting it meant that the player had to keep it 40 yards away, or else it could use one propelling skill and kill the player immediately.

Hellhowl chased Li Yi from behind, occasionally slamming its greataxe into the ground. Each blow cracked the floor, causing it to sink.

The Hellscream Dungeon map was very large, but as Hellhowl destroyed large swathes of the environment, the players had less space to maneuver. For example, Li Yi could only run in a few directions ahead, and he had absolutely no way to turn back because Hellhowl had already destroyed the ground behind him. If he tried, he would only sink in and get stuck.

Li Yi was in charge of kiting the boss, while The Cat that Sings and the others were in charge of collecting Energy Crystals.

However, that did not mean that they were safe as long as Li Yi kited the boss. They were also in danger from the orc monsterlings that appeared randomly around them as they collected Energy Crystals. These monsterlings may spawn as an individual or in a group, and while bumping into one was no real problem, a player running straight into a group of orcs posed a very real chance of dying.

“Lok’tar, orcs are unbeatable. Die, you brainless morons!”

Its inability to catch Li Yi was driving Hellhowl even crazier, and it wreaked destruction as it ran, carving deep crevices into the initially-flat plains.

Li Yi pulled Hellhowl toward the edges of the map, after which he made a sudden turn, running toward the bottom of the map along its edge.

Hellhowl stubbornly gave chase, the axe in its hand crashing into the ground continuously.

After Li Yi reached the very bottom of the map’s edge, he began to turn back upward. When he reached one of the deep trenches that Hellhowl had created, he used God Mode and had the Hunter Goddess pick him up, flying effortlessly across the deep crevice…

Roaring, Hellhowl leaped into the crack, its axe still swinging wildly. With that, it expanded the crack it had created even further.

On the other hand, Li Yi ignored it completely and continued to fly until he was far away from that area. In fact, he only landed when he could no longer see Hellhowl.

Since it was now trapped in the crevice, Hellhowl would not be jumping out any time soon. With that, Li Yi had undeniably bought precious time for his party members.

Every member of the party gathered as many Energy Crystals as they could, using the Thieves’ Cyclone Step and the Archers’ Aspect of the Leopard to raise their speed to the max.

Hellhowl’s Evil Energy level dropped slowly, while the players’ Evil Energy rose steadily.

After Li Yi settled Hellhowl, he immediately joined the rest in gathering Energy Crystals. As he was still in God Mode, he flew around collecting Energy Crystals at an unimaginable rate.

“Don’t take it, it’s mine, all mine…”

The Cat that Sings practically threw herself on the ground and crawled, grabbing every Energy Crystal within reach. Right now, all she could see were Energy Crystals…

Not far away, a sparkling Energy Crystal attracted her attention. Her eyes shining, she flew toward it…

It just so happened that Li Yi was picking up said Energy Crystal, so when he raised his head, it coincided with The Cat that Sings’ pounce. He instinctively stretched out his hand to stop her, but instead, he felt his palm making contact with something soft and perky, after which a body pinned him onto the ground.

“Where are you putting your hand? What, like what you feel?” The Cat that Sings raised her head and glared at Li Yi before suddenly reaching out and grabbing his crotch, giving it a few powerful rubs.

“What… What are you doing…”

“An eye for an eye. We’re even now.”

The Cat that Sings let go and got up, tossing her head proudly.

Li Yi was exasperated…

“That’s some decent-sized junk. No wonder you got so many girls around you.”

The Cat that Sings threw down one last line, leaving Li Yi feeling extremely conflicted.

There were plenty of strong-willed women out there, but ones like Sister Cat were rare indeed.

They continued to labor on, collecting crystals. When it came to fighting the Hellscream Dungeon, the most time-consuming and inefficient part was gathering Energy Crystals.

Hellhowl did not stay in the crevice for long before it flew up on a Golden Repelling Wind Beast.

Hellhowl was quite simple-minded. It had tried jumping up a few times before it remembered it could summon a flying mount.

Li Yi gave up on collecting Energy Crystals and went back to kiting Hellhowl.

The party persevered from day to night and then from dusk to dawn before they finally reduced Hellhowl’s Evil Energy to lower than Level 50.

By then, each party member had their Evil Energy in the hundreds, whereas Li Yi was the lowest at slightly over Level 200.

The party regrouped and officially attacked Hellhowl. The one with the highest ATK was The Cat that Sings, who had accumulated over 700 levels of Evil Energy. A simple stab of her dagger could now deal several tens of millions in damage.

During the boss fight, Li Yi remained in charge of kiting the boss. With his high DPS baiting it, Hellhowl could not be bothered with the others at all, dedicating all its efforts to chasing him.

The nine Thieves dealt as much damage as they liked, turning it into a DPS fest…

To other parties, Hellhowl was very difficult to fight because not many main tanks could withstand it. Besides, how many players in the entirety of the game were as OP as Li Yi, with an SPD that allowed him to outrun bosses?

After a two-hour battle, Hellhowl finally fell.

The Emperor’s Sword rose to the sky and pointed itself straight at Hellhowl’s soul. The powerful Orc Chief fell to its knees in a sign of fealty.

That marked the first kill of Ancient King’s first Party-level Dungeon at Heroic Difficulty. It took a total of 75 hours.

It was slightly longer than the record set by Milky Way Star, but Li Yi was not particularly bothered about setting records. All he wanted was the Orc King’s loyalty.

That was it!

“You guys can split up the loot the boss drops. I’m not interested.”

Li Yi did not even bother to watch the others loot the boss’ body. Instead, he headed straight out of the dungeon.

Hellhowl only ever dropped Emperor’s Equipment fragments and completed Emperor’s Equipment, so it was only natural that Li Yi had no interest in them whatsoever.

When Li Yi left the Hellscream Instance Dungeon, he saw that Tyrant Sword King the Fifth was still at Lostland.

It had been several days, but he was still at it…

The past few days, Tyrant Sword King the Fifth had never left the Lostland Dungeon. They had four but they were missing one more, and it had been like that for a while now. Along the way, they had brought in countless main tanks, but they still ended up getting wiped out.

To this day, they had yet to pass the second boss.

In order to beat Lostland, Tyrant Sword King the Fifth had even tried contacting the Cat that sings to ask for her help. Unfortunately, one single message was enough to turn him off contacting that cat ever again.

“I’ll give you three million, so invite The Mountain for me, would ya?”

“Get lost, you c*nt!” That was what The Cat that Sings’ reply.

He could not hire The Mountain or any other powerhouse, so Tyrant Sword King the Fifth and his party stayed resolutely where they were.

Since Li Yi had kept his progress with the dungeon’s first kill a secret, Tyrant Sword King the Fifth continued to believe that no one had achieved the dungeon’s first kill yet. Why else would he be so adamant?

For Hellscream’s first kill, Li Yi did not reveal his name either. Instead, he let The Cat that Sings and the others take the spotlight.

Personally, he had had enough of the spotlight. What difference did another first kill make to him now?

Having completed Hellscream, Li Yi found that he was still raring to go. It was because he was using the Nourishment Game Chamber; with it, he could even stay online for half a year without a problem.

Alone, Li Yi entered the Ancient King Series’ second Party-level Dungeon, titled Strength and Glory.

“Kid with the decent junk, where’d you go? The boss from earlier dropped a pair of Frost Emperor’s Bracers for Archers, you want ’em? If you don’t, Imma decompose them.”

As soon as Li Yi entered the dungeon, The Cat that Sings sent him a message.
