Feng Rao drove her bright yellow Ferrari to the Night Owl Bar, where she planned to meet Mu Chenyan.

Feng Rao frequented the place. The bar was still empty because the evening show had yet to start.

Mu Chenyan chose a quieter corner. She rarely visited pubs like this. The only reason she chose this place was to suit Feng Rao.

Mu Chenyan ordered a fruity alcoholic drink. The bitterness of the alcohol was absent, having been mixed with sweet fruit juice.

Feng Rao came over and saw that Mu Chenyan was unusually calm. She stared at her and assessed the situation with her gaze. When she recalled Mu Chenwu’s opinion of his younger sister, she could not help but mentally compliment her intelligence!

“Miss Feng, I’m sorry for disturbing you! The drinks are on me today.”

Mu Chenyan waved her hand to signal to a waiter.

Feng Rao sat down and ordered a glass of fruit wine as Mu Chenyan did. Her gaze shifted towards the woman opposite her “It’s fine. I thought that you’d have come looking for me long ago!”

Mu Chenyan smiled. “Yes, I’m not going to beat around the bush. Miss Feng, you’ve probably guessed that I came looking for you because of my brother.”

The corners of Feng Rao’s mouth twitched when she noticed that Mu Chenyan went straight to the point. “I don’t know where Mu Chenwu’s hiding.

“He came to me before and I helped him by getting you to the cemetery so that you two could meet. However, I haven’t seen him since!”

Feng Rao unhurriedly relayed the excuses she had prepared while observing Mu Chenyan’s reaction.

“Your brother said that Yuan Xuan had viciously pursued him numerous times. He had only thought of that idea because he was worried that Yuan Xuan had tapped your phone.”

Feng Rao took a sip of wine once she finished speaking, while Mu Chenyan nodded. “If you put it that way, I can believe the things that happened before, but I don’t believe that you aren’t in touch with my brother, Miss Feng!”

Mu Chenyan raised her glass and took a sip of her own.

“Miss Feng, you know about the precious item hidden inside my family’s treasury. Surely you must know the owner’s whereabouts too?”

Feng Rao’s expression changed upon hearing that. “Mu Chenyan, that’s bullsh*t!”

Feng Rao reacted somewhat excessively and raised her tone, causing several people who were chatting around them to glance over.

“How would I know that your family’s treasury was stolen? Did you hear those rumors from the people in the police department?”

“Calm down, Miss Feng.”

Mu Chenyan pacified the flushed Feng Rao when she saw that the people around them had focused their attention here.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re willing to tell me, but if you can contact my brother, please tell him that I want to see him.”

Feng Rao sighed and shifted her gaze. “I’m very sorry, but I don’t know how to get in touch with him. You came to the wrong person, Miss Mu. How can I contact him if you, his sister, can’t even do that?”

Mu Chenyan’s anger subsided when she saw that Feng Rao was not resisting at all. She reached out and raised her wine glass. She smiled, saying, “If that’s the case, I won’t trouble you anymore, Miss Feng. Let’s drink…”

Mu Chenyan’s hand unexpectedly trembled just as she was about to place it against her mouth. The glass slipped before its contents splattered all over Feng Rao.

The wine terribly stained Feng Rao’s white silk dress.

“Oh no! I’m sorry, I wasn’t holding it properly.”

Mu Chenyan hurriedly wiped Feng Rao with some tissue as she spoke.

“How am I going to leave if this doesn’t come off?” Feng Rao’s new dress cost several thousand dollars. Her heart burned with rage when she looked at it and realized that it had to be discarded.

One of her Ferrari’s headlights was torn off during the collision with Yuan Tian’s car when she had cut her off to pass Mu Chenyan a note. This time, Mu Chenyan had dirtied her dress. She was truly unfortunate.

“Whatever, I’m going to the washroom to rinse it with water!”

Feng Rao rose and went to the washroom when she realized that the blue stains could not be wiped off with just tissue paper.

Mu Chenyan watched Feng Rao leave with an apologetic look on her face.

Feng Rao returned ten minutes later. She grabbed her gold-colored Hermes satchel from the table and nodded at Mu Chenyan. “My hands are tied so that’s all for today. Goodbye, Miss Mu.”

Mu Chenyan rose and nodded in kind. “Take care, Miss Feng.”

Feng Rao gently sighed as she exited the bar. She drove away before she parked in a corner and sent a message to Mu Chenwu.

Mu Chenyan got up and left the bar as well. She believed that Feng Rao was telling the truth.

If Feng Rao could locate Mu Chenwu, Yuan Xuan would have realized this long ago. He would have sent people to follow Feng Rao and track Mu Chenwu down much earlier.

However, Feng Rao was surely in contact with Mu Chenwu. If she called Mu Chenwu, perhaps it meant that she had good news to share with him.

When she thought of this, Mu Chenyan hoped that her luck would improve.

Yan Jun called Yuan Xuan when he saw Mu Chenyan’s car leaving the bar’s parking lot. “Sir, the Mistress has already gone home, while Miss Feng had left much earlier.”

Yuan Tian awakened and realized that she was lying in a strange place. There was a spacious pale blue double bed in the apartment that was decorated with French furniture. Her surroundings were eerily quiet.

She certainly felt uneasy being hungover. Her head felt as though it had split in two while her entire body was exhausted. The worst part was that she had no memory of last night’s events.

Yuan Tian had never gotten drunk before. This was also the first time that she had no recollection of anything. Was this a case of amnesia?

Yuan Tian supported herself and sat up on the bed with much difficulty. Her body felt extremely uncomfortable before she was jolted by her appearance.

“Where are my clothes?”

Yuan Tian covered her chest with her hands. She was only dressed in a strappy nightgown that exposed her smooth skin to the air. She was terribly shocked by the faint but dubious purple marks that remained there.

Who changed her clothes? Her bra was missing too!

More importantly, what were these faint purple marks on her body?

Yuan Tian instantly darted away from the mirror. She turned around to look at the man who had entered from another room.

“Who are you?”

Yuan Tian guessed that this man had probably brought her here and changed her clothes. Her little face reddened as she could not restrain her temper from flaring up. She looked at him warily.

“Who am I?” murmured Shen Muqiu quietly. His tone was rather miserable while tiredness seeped through his gaze. “Tian Tian, I’m Shen Muqiu. Don’t you remember me?”

Yuan Tian was still on guard. She coldly glanced at the man before her. He wore an exquisite pale blue suit and leaned his arm against the door frame. His piercingly-cold gaze was tinged with warmth.

He had a tall and imposing figure while an aristocratic air was faintly present on the forehead of his exceptionally handsome face. One could tell that his refined aura was the result of being born in an influential family.

“I’m sorry but I don’t know you!” Yuan Tian said coldly. “I’m very sorry if you’re an old friend of the Yuan Family, but you’d be even more of a stranger to me.”

Yuan Tian glanced at her disheveled appearance. She continued, “Could you tell me what happened?”
