MMO: Pierce Heaven Til’ It Breaks 29 Elite Party

People were swarming the entrance of the Frost Labyrinth Instance Dungeon. More than ten thousand players had stopped over here. The Dark Empire Guild was not the only organization that wanted to obtain the Frost Labyrinth Instance Dungeon’s Heroic-level first kill as there were many other guilds that had the same idea.

The souls of numerous players surged towards this place endlessly. The people who died inside the Frost Labyrinth Instance Dungeon were continuously and constantly increasing every day.

“All those from the Dark Empire Guild should set their voice calls to party mode. Everyone must unite and enter the party before heeding the leader’s assignments.”

Since the guild system was not opened to the public yet, they could only use party mode to proceed with the assignments now.

Leader Delicately Cute was a female Dark Elf Archer. She was Dark Empire’s second-in-command. Whenever Chu Tiange was absent, all of the orders were issued by her.

Li Yi was all too familiar with her. She had mobilized the members of the Dark Empire Guild to pursue and kill Li Yi endlessly in his previous life. She was good friends in real life with the female Wizard who was tanked out of the party by Li Yi.

According to Li Yi’s impression, this girl had average skills despite her first-class equipment while her leadership was nothing extraordinary. Her only advantage was probably that she was comparably prettier than most.

After undergoing a troublesome assignment period, Li Yi was assigned to Dark Empire’s 38th party. This was the party with the lowest rank while their strength was also the weakest.

Party Leader Unyielding-to-the-Sky Dragon was a Level 11 Human Armored Warrior. He was dressed from head to toe in white-colored equipment that was all store-bought.

Party Member Fighting-the-Sky Dragon was a Level 10 Undead Light Priest whose body was half-clad in white-colored equipment. He was clearly a Priest but he was holding a Longbow.

Party Member Flying-into-the-Sky Dragon was a Level 9 Orc Sky Vagabond who did not have any equipment on his body. If he had not introduced himself, his class could not be determined at a glance.

Party Member Soaring-into-the-Sky Dragon was a Level 8 Undead Summoner who was dressed from head to toe in blue-colored equipment. He looked fairly above average but there was no piece that was suited for him to wear. Those in the Summoner Path were only suited to wearing cloth armor and leather armor. Conversely, he was lucky enough to get hold of full suits of heavy armor and plate armor. His DEF had increased but that caused his ATK SPD to slow down to that of a snail which made him unable to run at all. Looking at him was like watching a person who was moonwalking.

‘Could a party like this beat a Heroic Mode Frost Labyrinth? They probably couldn’t even beat a normal one…’

Li Yi wordlessly looked at the four brothers with “Dragon” for a last name.

“Brother, it’ll be fine as long as you don’t hold us back when the time comes. Everything else is insignificant so just fight when I tell you to and stop when you’re not fighting.”

Party Leader Unyielding-to-the-Sky Dragon spoke to Li Yi briefly before leading the others and walking into the Instance Dungeon.

The method of beating Heroic-Level Instance Dungeons and Normal-Level Instance Dungeons were completely different. Take Li Yi for instance, he could solo a Normal Frost Labyrinth Instance Dungeon on his own but could not solo one at a Heroic Level.

There were no Normal monsters inside a Heroic-Level Instance Dungeon. The worst little monsters were the Elite Level ones whose HP were all above ten thousand while their ATK was slightly higher than the bosses in the Normal-Level Instance Dungeons. The most excessive part was that their SPD had increased. Similar to the bug that allowed Li Yi to lure out the Frost Giants and make them fall into the river, if he could not pass through the Heroic-Level Instance Dungeon smoothly, it was because he could not outrun the Frost Giants at all.

“I’ve started killing monsters so pay attention and get ready to heal me.”

Unyielding-to-the-Sky Dragon used the Charge skill quickly before his body turned into an afterimage that rushed besides the Frosty Snow Wolf’s body.

Three seconds later, Unyielding-to-the-Sky Dragon released a strange cry before collapsing on the ground breathlessly.

“Heal you for what? Why didn’t you heal me?” Unyielding-to-the-Sky Dragon lay on the ground gloomily.

“I can’t heal if I’m using a Bow. F*ck, I just realized.” Fighting-the-Sky Dragon had just thought of switching to a Staff before a Frosty Snow Wolf pounced on him and bit him to death in one go.

Soon after that, Flying-into-the-Sky Dragon and Soaring-into-the-Sky Dragon were unable to escape by sheer misfortune. Flying-into-the-Sky Dragon suffered an Instant Kill directly while Soaring-into-the-Sky Dragon resisted firmly for a few moments. However, he watched, wide-eyed as his HP decreased rapidly because he was unable to move or run away… 

In a Heroic-Level Instance Dungeon, once you were noticed by a monster, you would have to suffer the monster’s eternal murderous pursuit unless you escaped the Instance Dungeon or used one of the few Skills that allowed you to leave the battle.

Li Yi had yet to learn the Skills that allowed him to do the latter. However, he had made preparations beforehand. When he saw that the situation had turned awry, he turned around and escaped the Instance Dungeon.

“Fighting-the-Sky, it was your fault this time so we’ll deduct one point from you first. You take a break, we’ll try again later.”

The few people who had returned from corpse running sat on the ground and recovered dejectedly.

Li Yi contacted Delicately Cute through private chat.

“Leader, I’d like to change to a different party.”

“Why? Is your level very high? Is your equipment very good? If your level is neither as high as mine nor is your equipment as good as mine, you have to obey my arrangements. Otherwise, if everyone acted like you and wanted to switch parties frequently, how would I act as the commander?”

Li Yi did not know whether to laugh or cry.

If he followed this outrageous party that could never advance and would die instead because they were unable to take care of themselves, his losses would surely be great.

“Seeking an MT who’s wearing a piece of Frost Equipment. It doesn’t have to be a full set, one item is enough. Also looking for a healer with 30 INT1. I’m an Archer with 260 ATK.”

“I have a Frost Armor and I’m a Level 12 Earth Vagabond.” An Earth Vagabond called Out of Print had messaged him.

Li Yi was slightly stunned before he sent a party invitation message to Out of Print immediately.

Earth Vagabond Out of Print was one of the representatives of the Vagabond Class in King of Pantheon. It was truly because of him that people had gained a new understanding of the Vagabond Class who were jacks of all trades but masters of none.

The Upgrade Paths of Vagabonds were similarly divided into three paths. The Shooting Vagabonds could use parts of the Archer Path Skills and were experts in long-range attacks. The Earth Vagabonds were experts in Tank Skills and because they were slightly different, they could even choose to either play defense or deal damage. The Sky Vagabonds corresponded to Spellcasters and mainly used unique Wind Spells to engage in attacks.

Regardless of the path they chose, all Vagabonds seemed to possess all-powerful skills. They knew Physical abilities and Spells while they could MT and also heal. The only difference between these choices was that extra emphasis would be added to the ATK of that Path.

The circumstances of Vagabonds and Archers were almost similar; they were popular during the initial stage, at a loss during the middle stage, and rare in the later stage.

They knew everything but were proficient in nothing. Take their healing abilities, for instance, Vagabonds could use healing skills well but could not resurrect themselves. Moreover, their skills were not comprehensive when they were playing the Archer Path and they had yet to receive the support of pets. When they were playing the Physical Path, they could use Charge but could not equip themselves with shields. Thus, their DEF abilities were so weak that they would crumble. When they were using spells, their Wind Spell’s ATK SPD was the fastest but their Damage was similarly the weakest.

Their equipment demands were the highest while their operational requirements were the hardest…

“Thank you.” Out of Print sent those two words in gratitude after he entered the party.

The stage around Level 10 or so was truly the weakest time for the Vagabond Class. No one wanted them for leveling while nobody would form a party with them for Instance Dungeons. If they were not playing with their friends, there was no other way for them aside from leveling on their own.

“INT 60, Level 15 Giant Light Priest.” A person called Orchid Elf sent him a private message.

“Orchid Elf!”

Li Yi’s spirits were jolted again. He was paying attention to the Level Rankings constantly. The name Orchid Elf had never dropped ever since it appeared on the board.

‘She was also considered as a player who was somewhat famous during the initial stage. Would it still be useful to choose someone else when she was an INT 60 Light Priest?’
