Since Jiang Fei could not receive any assistance from Ou Yezi, he decided to bid farewell as he returned to Dawnlight City.

After returning to the city, Jiang Fei did not stay there. Instead, he immediately headed toward the Endless Seas. As he had already acquired access to the teleportation point at Emperor Poseidon’s Palace, Jiang Fei was able to get there with ease.

After arriving at Emperor Poseidon’s Palace, Jiang Fei very easily found Poseidon as the guards in the palace had already recognized him and did not stop him.

“Eh? Why have you come over here?” Poseidon was surprised by Jiang Fei’s visit. After all, the Nephilim King had already tasked Jiang Fei with leading the Adventurers to attack the Dragon race’s nest. Now that the great war was approaching, Jiang Fei would not have time to chat aimlessly with Poseidon.

“I have come to ask you for a favor. It won’t affect the war against the Dragon race!” Jiang Fei laughed. He knew that the quest would not take too much time. Moreover, since Otis had not started doing anything, and the Dragon race had not left their nest, Jiang Fei decided to use the period to sort out his Overlord status.

“Ask me for a favor? What is it?” Poseidon asked curiously.

“I would like to find out where Huang Xie is!” Jiang Fei said directly.

“Eh? Why are you looking for him?” Poseidon was stunned.

“I want to kill him!” Jiang Fei said honestly.

“Hehe, young man. You are very brave. However, I must warn you, he’s very strong! You might not be able to defeat him!” Poseidon laughed.

“But I must!” Jiang Fei said seriously.

“Can you tell me why?” Poseidon asked.

“I have come to kill him on behalf of Master Lu Fu!” Jiang Fei said.

“Ah! He still can’t let it go!” Poseidon sighed.

“If you know where Huang Xie is, please tell me!” Jiang Fei said to Poseidon.

“Alright! Since you are so determined, I will tell you!” Poseidon sighed. He had warned Jiang Fei for his own good. Poseidon himself did not have much to do with Huang Xia.

On the other hand, Poseidon was much more closely associated with Jiang Fei. Moreover, it was an Intermediate Overlord’s remnant soul against the leader of the High Humans. It was a no-brainer for Poseidon in regard to whose side he should choose.

“Thank you, Emperor Poseidon!” Jiang Fei bowed respectfully at Poseidon after getting the information he needed.

“Ah! I must warn you again. You really might not be able to defeat him!” Poseidon said once again when Jiang Fei was about to leave.

“Emperor Poseidon, don’t worry!” Jiang Fei nodded. He was a player after all. If he died, he could come back in a week to try again. There was not much he would lose.

“Do you want me to send someone to kill him on your behalf?” Emperor Poseidon was still adamant about it.

“There’s no need. I can handle him on my own!” Jiang Fei rejected Emperor Poseidon’s suggestion. Although Jiang Fei was touched by Emperor Poseidon’s thoughtfulness, he needed to complete the Tier Challenge Quest on his own. Even Ou Yezi could not help him, let alone Emperor Poseidon.

“If that’s the case, please be careful!” Poseidon stopped trying to persuade Jiang Fei since he seemed so determined.

After leaving the Emperor Poseidon’s Palace, Jiang Fei headed directly to the location provided by Poseidon. After approximately two hours, Jiang Fei arrived at Huang Xie’s hiding spot.

“The powerful Huang Xie, who was one of the Four Sages of the Heavens, is actually hiding in this place?” Jiang Fei mumbled to himself when he saw a pitch-black cave. The cave’s entrance was covered with seaweed and looked very poorly maintained. Even the low-tier Oceanic races would not live in such a place.

“This should be the place. This is the location provided by Emperor Poseidon!” Akatziris said.

“Do you want to go in with me?” Jiang Fei asked Akatziris. After all, she was merely a support-type Intermediate Overlord. She could easily be killed by Huang Xie.

“Hehe, even if I hide in the small black house, I would still die if anything happened to you.” Akatziris smiled forcefully. She was always worried about Jiang Fei getting into trouble. If he died, he could still be revived. Akatziris, on the other hand, would be wiped out of existence.

“Ahh…” Jiang Fei sighed. He must complete the quest. However, the quest required Akatizirs to take on a high risk. Although Jiang Fei had many skills to defend himself, he could not guarantee that they would work against Huang Xie who used to be one of the Four Sages of the Heavens. Although Huang Xie was only a remnant spirit, he was still very powerful.

“Master, let’s go in!” Akatziris took the lead when she saw Jiang Fei hesitating.

“Ahh!” Jiang Fei sighed yet again as he walked into the cave after Akatziris. As a battle-type player, he needed to take risks like this. Although Akatziris was in a more precarious situation, she could only blame the Nephilim King for being too strict.

It was very dark once they got into the cave. Jiang Fei and Akatziris could no longer see anything after walking into it for a short while.

“Akatziris, use Illuminate!” Jiang Fei said to Akatziris.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you!” A voice could suddenly be heard next to Jiang Fei.

“Who are you?!” Jiang Fei suddenly felt goosebumps all over his body.

“Hehe, you’ve come to look for me, and yet you don’t know who I am?” The voice laughed in a chilly tone.

“Huang Xie?!” Jiang Fei was stunned as he subconsciously called out the opponent’s name.

“Hehe, I have not been called by that name for a very long time!” Huang Xie sounded like he was in misery.

“Master, should I still use Illuminate?” Akatziris asked in a small voice.

“Let’s not do that for now…” Jiang Fei stopped Akatziris. After all, he could not see Huang Xie at all, but he and Akatziris could be seen by their opponent. If Akatziris used Illuminate, she might upset their opponent and cause him to attack them both. Jiang Fei did not have the confidence that they would be able to withstand an Ancient Overlord’s attacks for long.

“Why are you here?” Huang Xie did not seem to want to attack Jiang Fei and Akatziris immediately. After all, he had intelligence, unlike the other NPCs in the game.

“My master mentioned you to me. That’s why I came to find out who you are,” Jiang Fei said half-heartedly. He was wary about mentioning his real intention of coming here.

“Your master?” Huang Xie was stunned.

“Yeah! His name is Ou Yezi,” Jiang Fei said honestly.

“Big brother…” Huang Xie mumbled the two words as if Ou Yezi reminded him of a distant past.
