“Oh.” Isabella nodded and did not probe any further. After all, it was not the first time Jiang Fei came late. Moreover, she could not help him with things in the external world anyway.

“Master Verdure Glider, I would like to express our loyalty to you on behalf of the New Saint’s Guard,” Hua Mulan said to Jiang Fei with a bow after the troops had fully gathered.

“Ah?!” Jiang Fei was stunned. He was not sure what Hua Mulan was talking about.

“Ding! Congratulations, player Verdure Glider for obtaining your first private army! You can now check and manage your army in the Commanding Window!”

“Ding! As you are the first player to own a private army, the system rewards you with 100 Commanding points!”

“Ding! A public announcement! As player Verdure Glider had obtained his first private army, the Commanding System is now officially open to everyone!”

“Sh*t! What the hell is this?” Jiang Fei was stunned. He immediately opened his Attributes Window.

After checking, he noticed that there was an additional Commanding page at the bottom of his list of Attributes. It showed his private army and their basic attributes.

All players started with ten Commanding points. That meant one could at the most collect 100 loyal members. However, the quality of members would depend on the player’s capability. If a player wanted to obtain more members after the first 100 members, he or she would need to find equipment or other items to increase his or her Commanding points.

Although Jiang Fei had 700 proper female soldiers, they were not in a good state. They may be very loyal and treated Jiang Fei with a high Reputation, but most of them were only just rescued out of jails. They were still wearing jail clothes and were lacking in equipment. Most were also tired and needed rest and nourishment before they could recover their battle powers.

“Why did they suddenly express loyalty toward me?” Although Jiang Fei understood the Commanding System, he was still a little surprised by Hua Mulan and the 700 females’ willingness to submit to him.

If they did not obey any of the superiors in the Dark Faction, they would be sent to the frontlines. After all, they would have to prove themselves from the very bottom.

Also, if Hua Mulan and the rest were put in the frontlines, they would be placed at the most horrid areas of the battlefield. Moreover, the soldiers from the Light Faction hated them deeply for their betrayal. Therefore, they would not have any chance of survival on the battlefield.

However, fortunately, Jiang Fei was very influential as the princess’ husband. Although he did not have a lot of say in the Dark Faction, he still held a high position. Moreover, the female soldiers had a very high Reputation toward Jiang Fei. Therefore, under Hua Mulan’s influence, all of them pledged their loyalty to Jiang Fei.

After becoming Jiang Fei’s private army, these ladies would not have to fight in the frontlines. They only needed to obey Jiang Fei’s orders and follow him around. That way, they would have a higher chance of survival.

“I see now!” Jiang Fei nodded after Isabella was done explaining.

“Alright then! Since they have pledged their loyalty to me, I shall not call them the Saint’s Guard anymore. Let’s change their name to the Rosette Knighthood!” Jiang Fei said after some thought.

“Ding! The army’s name has been changed successfully!”

Jiang Fei had named them as such to commemorate the Rosette Knighthood’s members. Ever since the original Rosette Knighthood joined forces with the Empyreal Dragon, there weren’t many of the ladies left from the guild. After all, the ladies were mostly daughters of rich families. They only played the game for fun. After they became bored with the game, they gradually left. Out of the forty who joined the game, there were less than five of them left. The remaining ladies were all lured away by other newer games.

Jiang Fei brought the Rosette Knighthood from the Nephilim King’s Palace to the Demon Flame Fortress through a portal. Instead of bringing them to Ivan to request for a place to stay, he brought the Rosette Knighthood to his own Demon Dragon Fortress.

This was the name he gave his new fortress. After all, he and Isabella were both half Naga and half Nephilim. Therefore, this was an appropriate name for their fortress.

By then, the place had already been in construction for more than twenty days. The initial structure of the Demon Dragon Fortress was already in place. The walls were already completed. The archery towers and cannons were fully equipped with battle powers. Although there were still some incomplete constructions in the external wall, and some parts of the interior were not done, the fortress already had pretty impressive defensive capabilities.

“Hehe! It’s great to be rich!” Jiang Fei showed a look of satisfaction.

His castle had cost him more than five times the normal price of building one. However, the castle had at most two times the amount of normal Attack Power. The speed of building had also been increased by 50%. All in all, it was not worth the amount of money he had spent.
