A bolt of monstrous black lightning began to appear in the sky overhead. It wasn’t dazzling to look at, but it gave onlookers a sense of annihilation. The bolt of black divine lightning didn’t immediately fall. Instead, a bolt of scintillating white lightning pierced through the sky before crashing into the bolt of black divine lightning.

Crackle… Zap zap zap…

The two completely different types of lightning began to slowly fuse together before transforming into a bolt of black-and-white lightning. All the lightning clouds were immediately parted by the devastating power of the bolt of lightning.

The monstrous power sent gale-force winds sweeping out toward all directions within a radius of several kilometers while threatening to blow Adam and Eve away in the process.

An Lin looked up at the final bolt of tribulation lightning with a grave expression as his mind scrambled for a way to remedy the situation.

“Little Na, can you cast a blessing on them to heal them as well as to bolster their defensive abilities?” An Lin asked in a light voice.

A soft voice sounded in response, “I can’t do that, Giant An Lin. If I interfere in any way, it’s only going to make the heavenly tribulation more formidable, and the increase in power will outweigh the effects of my blessing. The best way is to let them endure it on their own.”

“But they’re going to die!” An Lin was getting a little distressed.

If there was no other way, then he was thinking that he could use his Lightning Manipulation Technique to redirect the lightning toward himself. Although this wouldn’t resolve the problem at its core, it would buy him some time to think of something else.

“There’s no need to be so anxious.” Tina said with a carefree voice, “Look at their domain and see if you notice some changes?”

An Lin turned to look down at their joint domain to find that it had become an even more inky black.

A white light then began to appear within the domain as if it were the first ray of light piercing through chaos, and it began to expand before quickly transforming the domain into a black-and-white one.

The black lightning and the white lightning fused as they clashed before reaching an equilibrium.

Heaven and earth tremored violently as a purple mist rose before enveloping Adam and Eve.

The image of a yin-yang began to appear from their domain before rising slowly into the sky.

In the sky above, the final bolt of divine lightning fell with a devastating might, as if it were the sword of divine punishment that was going to slice apart heaven and earth, leaving a trail of spatial rifts in its wake.

The two people that were embracing each other under the bolt of lightning appeared so tiny and insignificant, as if they were going to collapse at any time.

Boom!

Lightning exploded as scintillating light lit up the world.

A deafening clap of thunder erupted, and the air within a radius of close to ten kilometers trembled violently.

The entire heaven and earth tremored under the force of the bolt of lightning.

An Lin’s eyes widened in shock as he stared at the scenes unfolding before his eyes.

The light of the sun shined down upon the earth again. Tears welled up in Adam and Eve’s eyes as they embraced together yet again before collapsing to the ground.

An Lin transformed into cloud and mist before reappearing before the two of them and unleashing a healing spell technique upon them.

“Thank you, Spokesperson An Lin…” Eve turned to An Lin with gratitude in her eyes before she fell unconscious.

Adam didn’t even have a chance to say anything before he fell unconscious.

Even though they had flaunted the crap out of their relationship status right before his stinging eyes, he still couldn’t bear to see them suffer. After all, he had watched them grow up, so how could it be possible that he didn’t care about them?!

An Lin carried the two of them back to their palace and instructed their children to look after them before departing.

Tina reappeared before An Lin again with a wide grin on her face. She was clearly quite happy about something.
