Yan Su stayed quiet for a while before she turned to hug him back. “Why would I be standing here with you if I didn’t want the same thing? But you have to promise me — Shi Xiang is in our past.”

Mo Liuxi looked at her with complicated feelings. “You shouldn’t be asking me about Shi Xiang — you should be asking yourself. I won’t bring it up again if you really are over him.”

“I have moved on,” Yan Su looked at him confidently and with undeniable certainty.

“Alright, I’ll let it go too.” Mo Liuxi stared at her for a few seconds before he lifted her, literally sweeping her off her feet. He walked toward the bed as he removed his leather jacket.

“Wait…” said Yan Su, stunned, as she grabbed on to the collar of his jacket. He always made her so flustered when he catches her off guard like that. She said, “I haven’t showered…”

“We’ll have to shower again later. Let’s not waste water. Let’s do the deed first. You have no idea how much I’ve missed you this week,” Mo Liuxi said seductively as he planted his lips firmly onto hers. He snuck in a nibble on her plump juicy lips.

Yan Su fluttered her eyelashes, and soon, she was on the bed with him.

She finally understood how thirsty a man who had just tasted blood could be. It was as if the doors to a new world had been opened and there was no satisfying his hunger, especially after having a few drinks; he was even wilder than before.

In a dream-like daze, it was almost like their first night together.

They made passionate love to each other.

It was dark out; the night sky was pitch black like a bottle of ink.

Shi Xiang was sitting by the window with a bottle of red wine in his hands. He was drinking it straight from the bottle.

“Shi Xiang, that’s enough. How many bottles have you had?” His manager Chen Chen went up to him and grabbed the bottle. “So what? You’ve got your heart broken. You should’ve seen this day coming.”

“Yes, I saw it coming. I gave her my blessing.” Shi Xiang thumped his chest with his fist, “But it hurts over here. I had the right to fight for her in the past, but I’ve lost all of that. What time is it? Do you know what they’re doing in the room right now?”

Chen Chen was silent. He understood what he was referring to. They were all adults after all.

Shi Xiang bent down and sat on the carpet, exhausted. “It was so painful when I saw them making out so passionately like that. It would have been much more bearable if I didn’t see them… but I did. I can’t help but think about what we had in the past. We were together for so long… but she was so precious to me to even indulge in when we slept together on the same bed. She doesn’t even belong to me now.”

Chen Chen patted his shoulders — he didn’t know what else to say.

“This is all because of Jin Youlan. She turned me into the man I am today!” Shi Xiang’s handsome face contorted in anger, “I’m going to kill her myself one day!”

Chen Chen was worried as he watched Shi Xiang.

The two camps ended the night very differently.

The next morning, Yan Su woke up in the arch of his arm.

It was Christmas morning. She looked up at his prominent features — every line was perfect and his neck was smooth and elegant. Yes, he would look good with a necklace on him.

Yan Su carefully removed his hand and almost immediately, she was forced down from behind.

A sexy body was pressed down against hers. “Where do you think you’re going?”

“You’re awake.” Yan Su was stunned. She turned to see his sleepy expression as he struggled to open his eyes. He was grinning happily.

“Of course I am. My stamina is improving after so many rounds of practice with you. I won’t let you wake up before me while I’m still sleeping like a log anymore.” Mo Liuxi wrapped his strong arms around her underneath the sheets, asking, “Where are you going? Are you going to make me breakfast?”

Yan Su’s heart was thumping and she didn’t dare move a muscle. They were both naked underneath the sheets.
