Growing Fond of You, Mr Nian Chapter 1300 – : Please Call Me Chaptery Xi

How dare he mention that. I’ll never believe him again. Jiang Yuning looked at Uncle Han and thought he was a liar.

“Miss He, did you sleep well last night?” Nian Xi sat down beside He Xi and stretched.

He Xin’s face looked so stiff that she seemed to have just had a failed hyaluronic acid injection.

How could she possibly sleep well? She stayed in the room next to Jiang Yuning’s bedroom last night. The wall was pretty soundproof, but she still heard the headboard banging against the wall, and Jiang Yuning moaning from time to time.

Last night she felt as if her heart was torn into two, and her blood was gushing out of her broken heart.

She barely slept. At dawn, she finally started to fall asleep, but then she heard Nian Xi’s scream.

She had never seen such a shameless woman in her life. How could she scream so loudly? It seemed like she wanted everybody to hear her.

He Xin didn’t have the heart to keep listening to the sounds that Nian Xi made, so she hurriedly came out of her room.

“Miss He, why don’t you say anything?” Nian Xi said with a smile. “Are you feeling unwell? Is it because of the weather in Xia City? I noticed that you’ve already packed your suitcases. Aren’t you staying for a few more days?”

Jiang Yuning looked at Nian Xi bewildered. Yesterday, she seemed to want He Xin to leave immediately, but today, she asked her to stay. Why?

Standing aside, Uncle Han gave a silent sigh. Miss Nian is so good at this, and she’s so thick-skinned. Miss He is sly, but a thick-skinned girl like Miss Nian can crush her within a second.

“No, thank you. I need to go home to… find out what’s wrong with the robot.” He Xin managed to squeeze a few words out of her throat.

“All right then. What a shame. When you come next time, I’ll show you around. Don’t bother to book a hotel room. You can just stay in our place.” While speaking, Nian Xi started peeling a boiled egg. “Baby, open your mouth, let me feed you…” She put the peeled egg toward Jiang Yuning’s mouth.

Uncle Han closed his eyes and took a sip of water. He couldn’t bear to watch.

“Xi…” Jiang Yuning blushed hearing her call him baby.

“Please call me Baby Xi.” Nian Xi corrected him with a soft and sweet voice. “You are not allowed to reject any food that I put into your mouth.”

“O-okay, Baby Xi.” Jiang Yuning obediently opened his mouth. He was a little confused at the moment. From yesterday to this morning, Nian Xi had been changing constantly. He didn’t know why, but he actually liked it.

She wanted him to call her Baby Xi. That was so sweet.

“Baby, is it delicious?” Nian Xi asked him smilingly.

“Yes, Baby Xi. Here, try this.” Jiang Yuning hurriedly put a potato pie into her bowl.

Watching the two of them feed each other, He Xin could not bear staying there for one more minute. She stood up and said, “It’s getting quite late. I’m heading to the airport. Yuning, see you next time.”

“All right, travel safely.” Jiang Yuning nodded without even turning his eyes away from Nian Xi.

He Xin almost collapsed. She was leaving, yet he didn’t even look at her.

Uncle Han hurriedly wiped the corners of his mouth and said, “I’ll drive you.”

“Thank you.” He Xin gave Jiang Yuning a long glance, then turned, dragging her two big suitcases toward the door.

Uncle Han stepped up to help her.

After the door closed, Nian Xi finished the milk and said, “I gotta go too.”

“You barely ate anything.” Jiang Yuning didn’t want her to leave. “Eat more.”

“I’m good Yuning. Good boy, I need to work. I still have a case to solve.” Nian Xi quickly stood up.

Jiang Yuning paused with disappointment. “Baby Xi, why did you call me by my name?”

She had called him baby before. It made him blush, but it sounded so intimate.

Nian Xi blinked and asked him, “Don’t you know why I called you baby?”

“Isn’t it because I became your baby last night?” Jiang Yuning said.
