Her teacher had explained the line for her, but back then, she couldn’t imagine the face of the man in the poem.

Nian Xi needed to guard Jiang Yuning closely, so she sat in the backseat with him.

When the car started, Jiang Yuning stood straight, hands on his knees. He then fastened his seatbelt, looking outside the left window.

As a police officer, Nian Xi needed to look around to pay attention to the surrounding environment.

They entered the airport and started to go through security. The security process for international passengers was rather complicated. Even though they had a special pass, it still took them around fifty minutes.

As Uncle Han was falling behind alone, Nian Xi hurriedly went to him and asked, “Uncle Han, what have you told Mr. Jiang? He refused to talk to me and said that I dislike him.”

“I told him that you don’t like him, and that you don’t want to be friends with him. I also told him not to bother you again.” Uncle Han smiled and said, “Was I wrong?”
