The doctor didn’t know what to say. How could that be his fault? He had been a doctor for tens of years, but what happened just now was new to him.

“Would I have blacked out if you didn’t kiss me so violently? You wouldn’t even give me a chance to breathe!” she said.

“How could that be violent? You lured me into that deep kiss.” Nian Junting glanced at her gently and helplessly, then said, “You had a fiance, but your kissing skills are so lame. It seems that Yi Jingxi is really incapable. You’ve never French kissed with him, have you? Or why don’t you know how to breathe in a kiss?”

“I’m done talking. Don’t talk to me, or I’ll never kiss you again.” Luosang was so angry that she turned away and refused to continue the conversation.

If she kept talking with him, she would definitely black out again because of anger.

“I’m just saying that. How can you get mad so easily? You’re not a child,” Nian Junting said while cleaning the table for her. “Never mind. I’m older than you, so I’ll tolerate you.”

She closed her eyes, hearing Nian Junting pacing in the ward. When the footsteps finally stopped, she heard some other noises from the bedside.

Luosang pretended to be asleep for five minutes, then turned to find that Nian Junting was peeling a kiwi with his hands, head lowered.

He peeled so unskillfully that quite some pulp was peeled off.

When he finished peeling, the small kiwi had become fragmentary. He stared at it for a short while, then abruptly lowered his head and ate it.

Luosang was speechless again.

After finishing the kiwi, Nian Junting took another one and started peeling it.

“I’m a patient. Shouldn’t you peel one for me?” Luosang felt lucky because she didn’t have a heart disease, because if she did, she would have died a hundred times because of how angry Nian Junting made her.

“I wanted to give you a pretty one. The ones I peeled earlier were all too ugly, and there was not much pulp left.” Nian Junting knitted his beautiful eyebrows together and said, “Lu Kang is really not good at selecting fruits. These kiwis are too small and too soft.”

It’s because you don’t know how to peel them. Why’re you blaming Lu Kang?

Sighing silently, Luosang said, “In that case, I don’t think I’ll be able to eat any kiwi, even after you’ve peeled the whole bagful of them.”

“Since you don’t mind, I’ll give you this peeled one,” Nian Junting nodded and handed her the peeled kiwi.

Lousang looked at the awfully peeled kiwi, then silently ate it.

“I’ll call the nurse to wheel you to get a CT scanning. It’s about time.” Nian Junting stood up and called the nurse.

At eleven o’clock at night, Luosang washed herself and lied back into the bed.

Soon later, her whole body started to feel hot. It made her so uncomfortable that she couldn’t even lift her eyelids.
