She thought she was going to die, and the moment she saw him was like seeing her savior. His familiar scent made her feel at peace. She clutched tightly onto his clothes and didn’t let go.

Pei Ziheng squatted down and checked her up and down. \”Where is the injury, you’re bleeding?\”

Xia Ling was uneasy and confused. \”I, I don’t know.\” There was no more anger in her tone.

Pei Ziheng looked at her carefully again and found that there was a lot of dirt near her thigh behind her skirt. He asked, \”How do you feel near where you’re bleeding? Does it hurt?\”

She shook her head. \”I was just sitting here and when I got up, there was a lot of blood, but it doesn’t hurt.\” She thought for a while before saying softly, \”It seems like, seems like my stomach hurts a little. Brother Pei, am I… going to die?\”

Xia Ling was shocked. \”He delayed his schedule?\”

\”Of course,\” Nanny Zhou said, \”Miss, Sir was so worried about you, he sent the butler to follow behind you. Why else do you think he could have found you so soon?\”

\”I…\” Xia Ling didn’t know what to say. That day, she had felt so wronged and so angry. She’d thought he didn’t care about her anymore. Who would have expected that he actually did care about her? Warmth spread in her heart and she felt a little guilty. How much trouble did she add to him?

Finally, he came out of the bathroom and was ready to go to bed.

She got up from her little bed and walked out of the screen.

\”Brother Pei,\” she said softly.

Pei Ziheng turned round to look at her and was a little shocked. \”Xiao Ling, why haven’t you slept yet?\” He was wearing a black satin gown casually, and beads of water flowed down his exposed chest. He looked sexy and physically beautiful.

Xia Ling had never noticed this before, but tonight for some reason, she blushed slightly.

\”I, I…\” She paused and unnaturally averted her gaze. \”I’ve come to apologize to you. I shouldn’t have thrown a temper that day and caused you to worry.\”

So it turns out to be for this matter.

Pei Ziheng smiled. \”You know your wrong?\”

\”I’ve come round,\” Xia Ling said, but her mood was still somewhat low. \”I shouldn’t have let you worry about me when you’re already so good to me.\” For every hour that was wasted on the road, she would compensate for it by sleeping one hour less.

Pei Ziheng seemed to see through her mind. \”You prefer to live on campus, right?\”

She hesitated and nodded.
