A minute earlier, Alex, who just woke up from his cultivation, got a notification from Lin Xingzhi.

“!!!” Alex widened his eyes before frowning. “A war, huh. This time they will shamelessly make a move?”

After contemplating for a few seconds, he rose from the ground and opened the cave, saying. “Let’s return. Something big is going to happen soon. I apologize that I can’t fulfill my promise to go around the universe for a bit more, but we will do it after this.”

However, Alex thought of another thing before he returned. Instead of going to Eulja, he went straight to the Magic Goddess’s world to visit her.

As expected, the moment he entered her house, the Magic Goddess managed to pick up his presence and showed up.

Unfortunately for her, Alex didn’t come for that. He simply took a folded paper and handed it together with a token.

Alaya’s expression turned serious since Alex must want her opinion because she once stated that the God of Destruction was the closest to have the power of the previous generation of God Kings.

After thinking for a while, she said, “I don’t have any assurance, but I think he can buy enough time. The same applies to Lin Xingzhi. From what I have seen, you haven’t reached it yet, right?”

Lin Xingzhi looked down, feeling ashamed. “Yes.”

“Buying time is enough. They are also planning to buy time, so I have an order ready.” Alex made an evil smile.

Just like their usual conversation, the War Goddess grabbed his hand, slammed his head to the ground, and buried it. “As I said, we are going to stay here without doing anything. Can’t you understand?”

“Mhmemehmehm.” The Palm God seemed to say something, and surprisingly enough, the War Goddess completely understood it.

She sighed and decided to explain. “I can tell you the reason, but you’re going to promise me that you will stay in the bedroom for three days.”

“I don’t trust you. You always choose to escape. Now I demand a Universe Oath.”

The Palm God gulped down as he truly planned for that. He now needed to face a challenge whether to go alone to create a mess or follow his wife’s words. After contemplating for a few minutes, he decided to swear to the Universe.
