While those people fought, Alex couldn’t get any more advantage even though he had cut his hand.

“It seems this fight won’t go anywhere.” He narrowed his eyes and took a deep breath.

“You may have surprised me for the first time, but I think I have understood your power. Unfortunately, someone as abnormal as you still can’t fight against a Rank 2 God. Just give up!”

Alex snorted and raised his hand. “Is that so? I’m abnormal? Is that an understatement?”

With just one second, a Rank 9 Array appeared as a white spear emerged from the array. “Divine Spear Array.”

“What?! That’s an array? Even the Array Plate needs to take a bit longer!” shouted the Rank 2 God. Knowing he couldn’t dodge it, he slashed his sword, releasing a green sword wave. “Divine True Strike.”

Alex had no intention to waste time, so he raised his hand and created another array.

“Ten Thousand Sword Formation Array.”

Just like the name implied, ten thousand swords appeared in their surroundings as they flew toward the Rank 2 God in succession.

“Twister Sword.” He channeled his Wind Power and spun his body, creating a tornado that blew all the swords.

Alex didn’t stop there and appeared next to that twister, slashing his sword downward. “One Sword Kill, Blade of Extinction.”

The Rank 2 God felt it behind the tornado and stepped back, avoiding the sword strike.

He then broke the tornado and flew toward Alex.

Clang.

A clashing sound echoed as the Rank 2 God blew Alex away. “Haha. That was surprising, but knowing it’s you, I know that you must have your trump card ready. Unfortunately, it’s too bad that it can’t be considered a trump card.

“Just give up, Spirit God. This is a pointless fight. You won’t be able to beat me.” He looked down on Alex. “That’s right. How about you give me your wives? I can play with them first while waiting for the others to finish their fight. I’m generous, you know.”

“!!!” Alex furrowed his eyebrows and waved his hand, summoning another array.

“Hmph!” The Rank 2 God snorted and waved his sword. “Divine True Strike.”

The Sword Wave flew toward the array that suddenly shot out a white-colored spear. However, Alex already appeared behind the Rank 2 God and slashed his sword. “Five Purities Slash.”

“Divine Punishment.” He snorted and clashed with Alex before leaping back. “As expected… Only that technique can fight against my power.”

Alex narrowed his eyes and took a deep breath before calculating what he needed to do. “Really? Only this technique, huh. Since you think this is the only technique I have, it seems I won’t have the problem of killing you here.”

“Haha, what did you say, Spirit God? You may have powerful Weapon Qi and Intent, but it’s useless due to our cultivation difference. Even your Pure Fire can’t burn my wind in an instant. Although I admit that your Space Element is troublesome, your Array Mastery is nothing special.”

When he heard that insult, Alex didn’t answer. Instead, he raised both hands and summoned his Holy Emblem. He waved his hand as the same white spear flew out of his hand, heading straight to the Rank 2 God.

“!!!” The Rank 2 God was surprised to see that an Array appeared out of nowhere and released its attack in an instant.

And that shock became even worse when Alex appeared next to that guy and waved his hand again. “Then, how about the second one?”

“Kh! What’s that? How can you summon that spear in an instant? No, how can you even create an array even faster? Isn’t one second your limit?” Having no left hand to stop this attack, the Rank 2 God decided to deflect the spear before striking the second one.

“That’s your assumption. And that assumption is the one that helps me beat you.” Alex smiled as he prepared to slash his sword.

“!!!” The Rank 2 God widened his eyes and prepared to take him on, but his balance suddenly went off as his surroundings turned upside down. “No. It’s not my surroundings. It’s me.”

To his surprise, Alex also turned upside down, but he already made his swing.

“Sh*t!” shouted the Rank 2 God as he tried to block Alex’s attack with half of his power because of this sudden change. “Divine Punishment.”

Little did he know, this wasn’t Alex’s Five Purities Slash anymore. Other than the usual input, he added the Life and Death Energy and Weapon Spirits into the power, turning it into the same attack that almost injured Rilt had Vina not come into rescue.

And the Rank 2 God realized it the moment he clashed sword with Alex.

“This… This is not the same technique.” He gasped and gritted his teeth, not wanting to die because of a Rank 4 God. “No!”

“It’s futile. Keep underestimating me, will you? Because that’s the best way to lower your opponent’s guard. And you… You f*cker shouldn’t mention anything about my wives.” Alex released his killing intent and completed his swing. “Seven Purities Slash.”

“NO!”

The sword was blown away as Alex’s sword cut through his hand and slid his neck, sending his head flying. The blood coagulated quickly the moment it touched the empty space, while the residual power behind that strike split the space open.

Seeing that opportunity, Alex poured more Space Energy into it and created a larger Spatial Gate to absorb that attack, so no one would be injured or notice that attack, albeit those who were Rank 2 God or higher in the area noticed that power.

The power that could kill a Rank 2 God despite being a Rank 4 God in a head-on clash.

Even William widened his eyes in shock as his warrior spirit once again appeared as if a tiger finally woke up from a long slumber.

“Hahahahaha!” William laughed out loud. “You all are dead! There won’t be anyone who can stop us now!”

The Elemental Gods and other Guardians agreed. Even those who came from another influence felt that power, especially Lin Xingzhi.

“Ha!” The Metal God shouted while trying to cut this one.

Yet, that power shook his heart and even Lin Xingzhi’s as they glanced at it once. It was like a warning shot against the beast that once killed him that Alex would truly cut him down.

But this power also came with great risk. It was apparent on the Metal’s God expression. Alex’s power had given the Metal God enough resolve as he released all of his power. “Ha!”

Boom.

People thought that a God King would fall during this fight, but they realized they were wrong the moment the smoke disappeared.

There was no Metal God anymore, only a brown-colored bear holding a weapon.

“Wow. You’ve finally shown your true appearance.” Lin Xingzhi laughed. “Still, should I praise you for learning to wield a weapon?”

When he revealed his true appearance, the entire battlefield was in shock, never knowing that the Metal God was a bear. Unfortunately, there were no other people who actually witnessed such a thing since everyone went away from the battlefield. Even the closest one, the God of Destruction, couldn’t see it due to the mess.

Still, the confused atmosphere was transferred to their position because many people stopped after noticing the Metal God’s true appearance.

“As expected…” God of Destruction narrowed his eyes before looking at the Earth God that seemed to maintain his poker face. “You are not surprised? You do know that bears are one of the culprits that create the dark era, right? Wait, Ah, I see. You are one of them.”

“I don’t know what you are talking about. The only thing I know is the fact that the Spirit God won’t forgive me after this war. Hence, since you claim I have gotten to the wrong side, I shall see it through.” The Earth God snorted.

“Really? Well, as much as I want to convince you, all of you are traitors until proven otherwise. So, I will kill you.” Raiju took a deep breath and released his power.

Still, no matter what, Lin Xingzhi was the one in the most dangerous situation. With her strongest technique gone, she was in a dilemma, wondering how to destroy this guy. From what she knew, this must be the original bear, considering their power was stronger than the current generation of God King.

“It seems that we really need to increase our strength or we won’t be able to handle this type of guy.” She muttered while looking around, finding an opportunity.

“Haha. Unfortunately for you, there is no other God Kings that can witness my true appearance here.” The Metal God laughed.

“Hmph. Due to how big the effect of a battle between God Kings could cause, the others have gone away, but it also means that I don’t need to worry about any other potential threats since you’re the only one I need to beat.” Lin Xingzhi smiled and summoned the Fire and Lightning Disturbances.

The Metal God also noticed the unrest from his soldiers, so he shouted. “What are you doing? Do you think you will be spared? With me becoming like this, they will surely suspect you. And to avoid any unrest, you all are going to die.”

His soldiers gritted their teeth, knowing that the result was the same. Their morale returned once more and they started fighting their foes again.

Even Lin Xingzhi couldn’t rebuke it even if it were a lie. After all, there were too many witnesses that needed to be silenced.

Killing them would probably be the best solution, so she roared to the spirits from Eulja. “You all have seen our enemies. This enemy has been haunting us for five thousand years and their leader has once slain the previous Spirit God. Those of you who don’t fear death, charge and kill them. It’s time for revenge.”

Lin Xingzhi recognized this voice and turned around, finding a 13 years old girl wearing gothic style clothing. She even tied her hair into twin tails.

“Who are you?” shouted the Metal God and greeted his teeth. He didn’t know why but he felt dread for the first time the moment this girl appeared.

However, the girl still closed her eyes and smiled. “You don’t need to know who I am since everything will be over for you.”

“Talking big. No one in this universe has the power to fight me in this form.”

“Really? Then, I guess I should teach the youngsters here what it means to be a God King.” She smiled. “Well, I can’t really say it since I once escaped from the battlefield.”

“You, a God King?” The bear narrowed his eyes, finding something unreasonable.

Even Lin Xingzhi could sense her energy and understood her current condition.

“You’re simply a Rank 2 God who forcefully increases your cultivation to God King. Do you think you have what it takes to fight against a real God King?”

“You consider yourself a true God King? This makes me laugh. But I guess you have a point.” She smiled and slowly opened her eyes, showing the white and black pupils. It emanated a powerful Life and Death Energy as a coffin that used to seal her appear above her head. “Life and Death Coffin.”

“Xingzhi girl, although it’s important to help the others, I want you to witness this battle. Alright?”

“I-I understand.” Lin Xingzhi nodded with a serious expression.
