Gacha Sovereign Chapter 641 – A Plan

“If only we didn’t lose one thousand Martial Emperors in the Special Realm.”

Regret filled his heart as he swallowed the pill. He might be the one who didn’t want to accept death the most in this entire sect due to his nature, but he would be the most decisive one after knowing it was futile to struggle. Rather than accepting his death, taking one of them down with him would actually make him feel better.

Having gathered enough resolve to do so, he shouted. “All disciples who have the Berserk Pill. Don’t care about your wound or whatsoever, and just think about solely killing them.”

He was at breaking point despite fully knowing that Alex had Space Element. There was still a single solution if Alex truly escaped with his Space Element. They could just spread out and attack the array separately. 

They still had a high number to do this, so Alex could still attack them by teleporting inside again, but the barrier would take the full brunt of a few thousand people attacking at once. Unless it were several rank 7 Gathering Arrays as well as millions of Spirit Gems, Alex’s barrier would surely break. 

The disciples began swallowing their Berserk Pills while Nelson and Jeanne kept killing those who ate the pills. Unfortunately, they could kill a few thousand at once, so the situation finally shifted.

“Attack them, but do mind about your attack as to prevent them from using your own attacks!” The sect master roared, pointing his finger at Alex. 

Alex, behind Leoz, smiled after seeing this situation. He realized what they wanted to do. “I see. Want to bring me down or want to destroy my barrier? My barrier is impregnable since I have poured every single Spirit Gems from my Inventory. I will grab everything I have lost here from your treasury.” 

He followed everything from words to words with the first one to be creating a Teleportation Array. Without saying anything, all the spirits returned to Alex’s side and disappeared. 

The disciples looked around to search for his position until one of them pointed his hand and roared. “That way!”

Behind the barrier, Alex simply looked down on them, taunting them by simply doing nothing.

The anger crept inside the disciples’ hearts, but somehow got stopped from blowing up with a single shout. 

“Stop!” The aura that was never seen before swept the entire area, and those in Martial Monarch realized that this aura contained a powerful 7-Star Martial Monarch Strength. There was no need to think who had this aura since only one person qualified for this. They took a deep breath to calm down and started calming the other disciples down.

“Look at those people!” The sect master pointed his finger at Alex. “They are just scared of our Berserk Pills. We can win this as long as we are united and break this barrier.”

The disciples gradually regained their calm when the sect master himself shouted at them.

The sect master observed their expression first, noticing that he finally gained their attention. He continued, “We need to spread out. No matter how our people are killed or how many of your friends have died, kept attacking the barrier with all of your power. Don’t care about anything else since we’re all dead if we don’t break this barrier!” 

Alex furrowed his eyebrows. ‘The way he moves… Is he ready to sacrifice many people for this? If we are too fixated with him, then the barrier will seriously break…’

Anya also noticed this as she observed Alex’s expression while glancing back and forth to see the disciples began spreading around the area.

‘If we spread out, there is a chance they are trying to surround us suddenly. There are more than five thousand people using the Berserk Pill right now… and if they don’t think anything about their life, it will be difficult if we are separated. Does it mean we can only fight them separated with the risk of them escaping?’ Alex couldn’t see a usable plan yet. He might be able to get one as long as he had time, but he needed to come up with one in less than two minutes before they started attacking the barrier.

Anya took a deep breath as she followed their positioning, wondering if she could find something that could help their situation. The spread was even with their power level also distributed very well. They would need to kill at least ten thousand people in less than one and a half minutes when they were at their most vulnerable. 

It was a third of their current number, but it should be enough to slow them down. According to the current amount of Spirit Gems that was supplying the barrier, they would need around three minutes. However, if Alex’s group could destroy a third of them, they would need an additional one or two minutes. By the time they broke the barrier, they would pass the five minutes mark and either die or be heavily injured.

In this case, they would be exterminated first before they could break the barrier since their progress would become slower and slower, with their number becoming less and less. 

The only problem would be how they could kill these many people at once without damaging the barrier.

Alex and Anya were thinking hard about this.

Suddenly, an idea flashed in his mind. He had almost forgotten about it since he had yet to use this after coming back to this world. 

“Everyone shall use their True Spirit Body right now. Kyle and Stina, can you control a portion of my Fire Element while using yours?” Alex asked.

The spirits quickly obeyed them and released their True Spirit Body. Meanwhile, Stina answered with a nod. “We can, as long as we are inside your body.”

Alex nodded. Sherry was usually the one to use this, but the Fire Authority had pushed everything to the limit, so both Alex and Sherry had a hard time to do anything with this Fire Art. With Stina and Kyle using his power, he could focus on his sword and spear, specifically the rank 8 weapons he received not long ago.

Alex took a deep breath as he said his plan. “All of you will pair with someone. Just pick one in your right. We are going to spread out with these seven pairs and attack them from distance to avoid being surrounded by the enemies. You may attack the barrier if that can kill many people at once. Now, go!” 

Teleportation Array appeared beneath them as they suddenly appeared right behind the disciples. The disciples noticed this and somehow glanced at them for one or two seconds before sweating profusely as they quickly used their Martial Arts to attack the barrier.

Alex and Sherry flew in pairs. Sherry was in charge of supporting him from the back while Alex went for the close combat. He took his rank 8 weapons.

“It’s time for you two to show me your might,” Alex said to both weapons and the latter released their energy as if they heard him. 

On his right was Leoz and Anna pair while on his right was Anna and Nelson pair. Despite Alex saying to grab someone beside them, the spirits decided this themselves to make sure Alex was protected.

Looking at the intelligence of their current enemy, they might target him and Sherry since both were the weakest while also the leader of this group. The moment the enemy surrounded them, these two pairs would come out to break the encirclement. Besides, Stina and Kyle were also inside his flame, controlling his flame together.

“Firebirds!” Sherry summoned more than seven hundred of them at once while five phoenixes appeared above Alex. These were the combination of three people while Alex still focused on his weapons.

The blazing flame appeared on his own as if the weapons were the one calling the flame since Alex wanted to use an attack.

Noticing this, Alex simply smiled lightly. He appeared in the middle of the enemy as he thrust both weapons to the empty air in the opposite direction. 

“Mythical Spear Cannon (Power Version)!”

With the addition of Mythical Fire Slash, Alex renamed his Mythical Spear Cannon from Sword and Spear version into one that was similar to his Spear Throwing Art, Power and Piercing Version.

A huge powerful flame suddenly burst out from both weapons as if it was a laser. Alex wanted to decrease their number as much as he wanted first before he slashed the weapons thrice.

“Triple Draws!”

“Blade of Conquest.”

Six sword waves flew once again, killing every single person in its way, albeit it wasn’t very effective. This attack was also followed by the Fire Phoenixes above his head. They began killing hundreds of disciples. 

However, none of them actually fought back. Instead, they were still trying to break the barrier in the fastest way possible and escaped from this place. 

Alex let out a sigh. He didn’t know why but the enemies this time were more frustrating than the ones he had fought despite them not fighting back. Whether it was the pressure of time or the loss of his Spiritual Gems, he clearly put more thoughts in this battle.

He kept killing them until one minute later, he realized that they failed in their objectives. They still need to kill two thousand people to get that objective, and that ruined their entire plan.

Alex swept the entire battlefield to see what other things he could do in this situation and locked his eyes on the sect master.

“Leoz, kill that man. You have thirty seconds.” Alex pointed his finger at the sect master and said to Leoz’s card to make sure the message was delivered. At the same time, Alex pulled back, confusing everyone. “Sherry, you also need to pull back.”

He took a deep breath before taking out Fabio’s, Vera’s, and Jeanne’s card. “After my attack ends, you both will use your strongest attack to kill as many as possible.”

Alex ignored her words, tossed the weapons inside his Inventory, and created a small fireball above his head. The fireball gradually gained size and released a powerful heat. 

Everyone, including his spirits, felt the scorching heat and turned around. The spirits could only grit his teeth as if they had failed, while many people realized how terrifying this technique was.

“We need to destroy whatever that attack is first!” The sect master shouted, but Leoz appeared in front of him with a grave expression, swinging his giant sword.
