Xia Ling turned around to see Xia Yu. She was still wearing an embroidered shirt with delicate feathers. Paired with her exquisite skin, she looked mesmerizing. Why was she here? Xia Ling doubtfully scanned her surroundings. Only then did she realize that the door of room 1803 beside her was open. Xia Yu’s stylist and assistant were carrying boxes of items out from the room.

“Is the lounge next door yours?” Xia Ling asked.

If she remembered correctly, this floor had the lounges of top singers, and there were only three of them. Only Imperial Entertainment’s most recognized singers were able to have lounges here. Many popular bigshots would kill to have a lounge here. However, Xia Yu, a recording artiste who relied on editing to cover up her vocal effects, actually occupied three rooms?

“Yes.” Xia Yu lifted her chin slightly and looked at her with some ridicule. “You don’t belong on this floor. How about you quickly leave?”

Xia Ling knitted her brows slightly and asked Chu Chen, “Who uses the other room?” Did Imperial Entertainment change its rules? Was this floor was no longer reflective of status or meaningful enough anymore?

“Are you going to the lounge downstairs?” Xia Yu tilted her body to let her pass. “Why didn’t you do this earlier? You should also see who room 1801 belongs to. Do you dare disregard it?”

Didn’t Chu Chen say that nobody was using room 1801?

Xia Ling stopped in her tracks, turned around, and asked Xia Yu, “Whose room is that?”

Xia Yu smiled. “Of course, it’s my sister’s.”

“Xia Ling?”

“Who else can it be?” Xia Yu looked over. “Ye Xingling, so what if Brother Ziheng likes you? You will never be able to replace my sister in Brother Ziheng’s heart. My sister is irreplaceable. “I said that I want room 1801.” She emphasized her words impatiently.

“The Boss instructed long ago that no one is allowed to touch Xia Ling’s things.” Chu Chen said. “This room is kept in honor and memory of the deceased. Even Xia Yu is not allowed to enter it. Miss Ye, please don’t make things difficult for me.”

Chu Chen patiently tried to talk her out of it and did not budge from his position.

Xia Yu smiled deeply. “Ye Xingling, know your place. This concerns my sister. Do you think Chu Chen has the authority to make a decision? I think you should just go downstairs as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might become a joke or even offend Brother Ziheng.”

Xia Ling sneered. This was nothing compared to the rage she felt towards Pei Ziheng.

“Call Pei Ziheng and tell him that I want this room.” She said to Chu Chen.

Chu Chen frowned. “Miss Ye, please forgive me, but I can’t do that. You just joined Imperial Entertainment and don’t know how important Xia Ling is. Her room is really off-limits. I don’t even think that you should try to take it.”

Xia Yu laughed softly as she watched the scene unfold.

Xia Ling was more irritated than before and stubbornly reached out her hand. “Give me your phone.” Even though she was signed to Imperial Entertainment, Pei Ziheng still did not intend to equip her with a phone. Now, she had to borrow Chu Chen’s. Since he did not dare to ask Pei Ziheng, she would ask him herself.

Chu Chen did not move.

“Give it to me!” Xia Ling demanded. “Chu Chen, do you think that I won’t be able to find a phone? Since when do I have to get your permission to call Pei Ziheng?! You better watch out as you might anger your master because of this!”
