As the cat did this, Fu Sichen nimbly retreated backwards; this weakened the impact. Initially, the cat had wanted to give Fu Sichen a vicious bite. Instead, his cat lips ended up brushing up against Fu Sichen’s lips.

The man was shocked.

So was the cat.

The bite from the cat the night before had been rather vicious. As a result, Fu Sichen had no choice but go to the Emergency Room at the hospital.

Fu Sichen had been in a bad mood for a while because of this.

Therefore, when he heard his apartment doorbell go off in the morning, Best Actor Fu had answered the door with an extremely sullen expression on his face.

It was the diligent Great Manager Xiao Nian.

Fu Sichen’s expression was as cold as usual. He stood at the door and didn’t let Xiao Nian come in. “It’s you again?”

“This is a gift,” Xiao Nian started to spout nonsense before Fu Sichen could even ask. “Congratulations to the Fu Sichen family for the joyous addition of a cat. This is my gift to the cat.”

He didn’t seem to think that gifting cat clothes would make him seem strange. After congratulating Fu Sichen, he stuck his head inside, looked towards the living room, and called out, “Pei Pei!”

The moment that Pei Zhen heard Xiao Nian’s voice, he eagerly ran out of his cage. He opened his mouth to grab hold of the plastic bag, and pulled it with him while heading towards the bathroom.

Xiao Nian followed behind the cat.

The bathroom door slammed shut with a bang. Xiao Nian’s muffled voice could be heard, “This pair of pants has zippers on it… Sigh, or maybe you can try this on— it’s a little pink dress. You can be a little tease if you put it on… Ow!”
