“But when will he learn to walk, Auntie Mei?” Xiao Bao asked curiously. He appreciated that their Auntie Qian’s baby was a boy. This would mean that he would be able to have more playmates in the future.

It wasn’t like he didn’t want to play with his twin sister anymore, it’s just that he prefers playing with boys. They glanced at Song Fengyan’s direction, only to see him staring at his cup, his fingers rubbing against the rim of it. They fell silent upon seeing his pitiful outlook and stopped arguing with each other.

He Lianchen couldn’t take it anymore and decided to snap Song Fengyan out of his dazed state. He’d been waiting for everyone to leave to talk in private with Feng Tianyi and Song Fengyan, but seeing the latter losing more of himself with each passing day, He Lianchen knew he needed to do something.

“Fengyan, let’s have a talk.” He told him before glancing in Feng Tianyi’s way. “You too, Tianyi.”

Feng Tianyi stood up from his seat and kissed Tang Moyu’s cheek.

“We’ll be back soon. You can continue chatting without us.” He said before pulling his cousin from his seat, dragging him to the gazebo.
