Feng Tianyi cracked an eye open before turning on his side, burying his face on the empress’s midsection, much to her shock. 

“What are you doing?” Her eyes narrowed at him as she brought down the papers she was reading.

“Holding you. I miss you, Moyu. You don’t know how long I waited just so I can hold you right now.” Feng Tianyi said in a muffled voice.

“But you saw me this morning. I was also here last night, in case you’ve forgotten.” She countered. The devil was getting bolder at touching her these days. 

“Hmm… that doesn’t count. I need my daily charge from my Moyu.” He whined like a kid, making her roll her eyes from the absurdity of his actions. He was worse than her son! 

What’s wrong with him being clingy all the time? Well, at least he doesn’t annoy like his brother did earlier by just showing up out of nowhere. 

“By the way, I met Feng Tianhua today.” Those words alone immediately made the devil turn his head to her, his eyes darkening upon the mention of his brother. 

“Did he touch you?” The devil’s voice was threatening. If Tang Moyu said that she was touched by Tianhua, he would break the man’s hand himself for daring to touch what was his! 

Even though that’s impossible… Think about it, Tang Moyu easily broke Han Shaohui’s hand, she would probably do the same if Feng Tianhua attempted to harass her. Feng Tianyi was sure that even if he fully recovered he would still be no match to the empress’s prowess. 

“No.” Tang Moyu said much to the devil’s relief. “As if I would allow such a thing to happen.” 

“Then what does he want?” Feng Tianyi sat up and faced his woman. He didn’t want to think that his brother wanted the empress back now that the Feng Conglomerate was floundering for the past few years during her absence. 

Did he finally realize that he’d thrown away a precious gem for a pebble instead? However, even if Feng Tianhua wanted her back, the devil had no intention of handing over his woman to another man.

“Moyu, if one day, he decided to ask you to return to him, would you go?” He needed to know how she felt about his brother. 

The empress furrowed her brows. She looked at him as if he’d offended her. 

“What kind of nonsense are you talking about? Have you forgotten what he’d done to me in the past? A simple sorry would never be sufficient for me to forget the humiliation I suffered because of him!”

Seeing her annoyed face, Feng Tianyi couldn’t stop himself and leaned forward, catching her lips into a deep kiss. His hand buried in her thick mane as their lips collided, exchanging a kiss full of love and longing for each other. 

He felt her arms wound around his neck as he assaulted her mouth, forcing her lips to part so his tongue could plunder this sweet mouth that he would never get tired of. When they parted, the empress’s face was beet red, her parted lips slightly swollen from his assault. 

“I’m glad you didn’t marry him.” He whispered to her ears before nibbling her earlobe. “It would really be a shame if you ended up being my sister-in-law.” 

“There’s no what ifs, Feng Tianyi. It only meant that Feng Tianhua and I were never meant to be together from the start.” Tang Moyu then felt his lips peppering kisses on her slender neck.

Ah, it was a good thing no one could see them, or else she wouldn’t have any idea how to explain this situation, especially to her little buns! 

Feng Tianyi took her right hand and placed it on his chest, letting her feel his own erratic heartbeat. The heart that only skipped a beat whenever she graced him with a smile. 

“Moyu, can you feel it?” He asked while Tang Moyu’s eyes widened at how fast his heartbeat was. She hadn’t thought that he felt this way too. This… “This heart belongs to you.” 

Overwhelmed by his confession, Tang Moyu leaned forward, kissing him, promising him the words she couldn’t utter at the moment. 

“Moyu, whatever you want, I’m willing to give it to you. If you want the devil’s everything… his heart, his soul… his everything… ” He smiled and kissed her forehead. “As long as you want it, as long as I have it, it shall be yours. So please don’t leave me, alright?”
